Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins REUNION SHOW

All of our faves are back: Wes, KellyAnne, Derrick, Sarah, Evan, Dunbar, Kenny, Katie, Susie, Johanna, Johnny Bananas, Veronica

Maria Menounos is hosting the reunion show. Um, isn't she more important than this? I feel like Maria Menounos is too good to be hosting a Real World/Road Rules Reunion show. Maybe I give her too much credit.

We see a recap of the final challenge. Maria asks Susie why she didn't just cut a deal with KellyAnne and Sarah. Susie says she would have made more money if she had, but she wanted to actually win the money. Maria asks the guys if they thought Susie had made a deal and Evan says that Susie played it straight from the beginning - although Bananas says he had his doubts. Maria asks who had deals and who didn't. No one would cop to anything. Wes says that he got "evil vibes" from Susie the whole time. Whatevs.

Next up on the hot seat: Brad and the fight that got him kicked off the show. They show the fight again and that is crazy. Darrell just freaks out! Brad says that it had nothing to do with Darrell, but Susie disagrees. She thinks that it wasn't a coincidence that it was Darrell and that he represented all the Brad was going to lose. But, Brad sticks to his story and says that he missed his home life. Who cares?

Next up: Wes. He says that, aside from trying to throw the first challenge, he did NOTHING to anyone on the team and that his team ganged up on him. KellyAnne nods in agreement. Solidarity sister. Wes says he didn't come into this as an a**hole. He says he made TWO mistakes. First, he got way into Johnny's face and he apologized for that and he wishes he could take it back. And, second, he got too into the fight with Darrell (when he was badmouthing KellyAnne).

Maria asks Veronica about Wes's strategy to throw the first challenge. Veronica says she didn't think Wes had a choice and then KellyAnne chimes in and says that Wes had to do that. Shut up, KellyAnne. Maria says that Susie is furrowing her eyebrows and Susie says that sometimes you need to ask whether it's Wes or EVERYONE ELSE who is wrong. Heh.

Next up: The Kenny - Johanna - Wes - KellyAnne - Cohutta hexagon of drama. Wes gives Kenny props for acting way more gentlemanly than he expected. Of course, this causes Kenny to smirk arrogantly. Kenny gets up and walks over to Wes to give him a "bro hug" and says "Come here you big red-headed slut." HAHA. Kenny is a d-bag, but he can be funny sometimes. Wes says that he doesn't think Johanna made an effort to be his friend throughout the game. She thinks the same of him. Maria asks why that is. Stupid. Johanna says that it could've been that she hooked up with Kenny on TV or that she hooked up with Kenny - who used to be Wes's friend or a combo of both. Duh.

The conversation shifts to KellyAnne and Evelyn being put in the Ruins. Wes agrees with the Champions that it was actually a strategic decision and not so much about Wes. Kenny and Bananas say that the CHALLENGERS were actually all in on it and were in favor of it, too. KellyAnne says that a lot of her own teammates were "in" with the Champions which she thought was weird. THEN, Sarah says to KellyAnne that she was "in" with the Champions, too, because she was sleeping with WES!! KellyAnne says that Wes was NOT "the other team". Um, yeah he was. Then Wes says that Sarah would have slept with "the other team" - meaning, Kenny - if he would have let her. Ouch. So KellyAnne says that Sarah shouldn't criticize her for doing something she actually wanted to do. Dumb. The whole conversation...Dumb.

Next up: Trashtalk. The crazies!! Katie and Tanya!! Kenny and Evan talking crap about Katie, Tanya and Sarah. Sarah is making excuses for Kenny. Wow...she's such a victim. Sarah admits that she let Kenny get away with it because she had a little crush. Bananas hits the nail on the head: he says that she's got Battered Woman's Syndrome and she's going to come up with every excuse for what he's said to her. And she continues to do so. Ugh. She LOVES that Kenny is even talking to her so she takes the abuse.

This season was the season with the most people sent home. Wow. Next up: The Tanya/Veronica slap heard 'round the world. In hindsight, Veronica says that she shouldn't have called Tanya crazy. She says that it was shocking to her that all the guys took Tanya's side. Evan says that Veronica is a rational adult and everyone gives her credit for being a grown woman. Evan says that Tanya is not a rational person and she was going through some stuff. Veronica says that she's not a "politician" like Evan and that she gets emotional. UGH. Evan has a point. Tanya is sick. She has some very serious issues. Veronica should have walked away, but she just didn't. Veronica says that she didn't think Tanya should have been there at all because she wasn't emotionally ready for that environment. I will agree with Veronica there, but since when has that stopped MTV?

Evan and Veronica swear that they did not hook up. Hmmm. I'm not sure I believe that.

Quick recap of the season. The End.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 10 SEASON FINALE

It's the finale!!

For the Challengers we have KA and Sarah.

For the Champions we have Kenny, Evan, Bananas, Derrick and Susie.

The boys are all fooling around. Evan and Bananas are playing some weird game where Evan has to hit Bananas with something on the ass. Then Bananas pours hot candle wax on Evan. Derrick is laying in bed and says "Where the f*** am I?" My sentiments exactly, Derrick. I feel your pain. You're in Thailand with a bunch of meatheads.

The next morning, Derrick is sharing some pictures of his son. The baby is so freakin' cute. Susie, KA and Sarah are all talking. KA and Sarah are feeling really confident because they work so well together. Susie tells them that her experience in the finale will consist of hours of abuse from the guys. She says that when they insult her, she's not going to feel motivated to do better. She'll just stop.

Evan is telling the guys that he thinks Susie has what it takes to beat the girls. Bananas says that he's the only one who's been through a challenge with Susie and he knows that's not the case. Derrick and Evan have faith in Susie and think that she'll pull through. Kenny and Bananas are not so confident.

Sarah is talking to the guys and they are still making fun of her. She interviews that she just wants a break from the abuse. I have an idea, don't go into their room!!! If you know they will just abuse you, then don't go in there! Annoying. I hate it when girls are stupid. She says that everytime she walks into their room, they tease her. Kenny tells her that she'd just be wallpaper in the room if they weren't making fun of her.

Now everyone is in the living room and Kenny walks in and tells Sarah that she should just admit that wants him. He tells her that she came to Thailand wanting him and she's going to leave Thailand wanting him. Then Kenny says "You're the girl who hangs out with a bunch of hot chicks. And you're the fat chick who ruins it for everyone else." And he doesn't stop. She has a bunch of tattoos on her arm and he says that it looks like a ten year old doodled on it. Then he finishes saying that she's like riding a moped. He wouldn't want his friends to see him on it, but sure, he'd probably take a ride. That does it. Sarah gets up and leaves. FINALLY. I mean, I think Kenny is the biggest douche-bag. I think he's an ass and someone needs to beat the crap out of him. But, Sarah, you know this. WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO SUBJECT YOURSELF TO THE ABUSE??? Don't put yourself in those positions. Leave him alone. It's hard to feel too sorry for her even though I know Kenny is wrong.

Derrick, Susie and KA are chatting and Derrick admits that he's a little worried about the finale. He's got a point. Yes, he's on a team with 4 strong guys, but they also have Susie. She's good, but she has to be better than both KA and Sarah. It would look horrible for them if they were beat by 2 girls. They'd never live it down. Susie points out to Derrick that Bananas was an idiot for bad-mouthing her all over the house BEFORE the finale. She tells Derrick that he should have been smarter and waited until the finale was over. Susie interviews that if the Champions lost to KA and Sarah, she wouldn't be that disappointed. I see her point.

Sarah and Susie are chatting and Sarah is complaining about Kenny picking on her. Susie tells her that the boys aren't worth crying about. Sarah says that it fuels her and she feels good about winning.

It's the night before the final challenge and Evan and Susie are talking. Evan is trying to motivate Susie to do well for the team. She asks Evan if they can agree that Bananas is an ass and Evan says he agrees along with everyone else. All Evan cares about is the $$$. Susie interviews that the boys are starting to panic.

The guys are on the treadmill and working out like crazy and KA and Sarah are relaxing and feeling good. They say that the guys are terrified of two girls. But, that's not really it. I see Sarah and KA's point, but really, they are scared that Susie is going to blow it. If it was just the guys against Sarah and KA, I don't think they'd be worried at all. But, because they have Susie, they area a little freaked out.

FINAL CHALLENGE

The teams will head out and reach a series of checkpoints. At each checkpoint, the teams must work together to complete the task and get an artifact. There are arrows and directions throughout the course. At the end, they will turn in their artifacts and the first team to make it to the finish line will win $160K to be divided equally among their teammates. That's a little over $30K for each Champion and $80K for each Challenger.

First Task: Each team member must eat everything on the plate in front of them. There are beetles, fried frog legs, a sticky Thai fruit, red chilies, and crickets and grasshoppers. GROSS. KA is throwing up and but she keeps eating. Evan says that he looks over at KA and Sarah and they are eating this disgusting stuff like it's a buffet. Then he looks at the Champions and they are all puking and can barely keep anything down. Kenny: "I feel like I'm eating the asshole of the dirties bum I ever met." GROSS! The Challengers take off and are in the lead!!!

The Champs finally take off. The Challengers find the next task. It says that there are different paths and they can choose whatever order they want to complete the task at each path. They will need to collect 5 artifacts (total) to open the secret door. So they take off and find the second task. It's a jigsaw puzzle. The Champs make it to the different paths and decide to follow KA and Sarah. Susie is beat! She's exhausted, but she keeps going. Sarah says that they are staying calm and getting through it and she notices that the Champs are struggling. They finish the jigsaw puzzle, grab their artifact and tear down their puzzle so the Champs can't see it. They take off to the next task and are content to already have 2 artifacts out of 5. The Champs finish the puzzle and head back to choose a new path.

The Challengers find their third task: MudPit. Each player must crawl through the mud pit to reach the artifact and then crawl back. Looks pretty easy actually. The Champs run into the Challengers and Evan is terrified because the Challengers are a full artifact ahead. They can't handle Susie being slow, so Kenny pulls her over his shoulders and runs with her on his back. They reach their third task: Short Cut. Each player must walk across the bamboo poles. Challengers are doing the same one as their fourth task. If one player falls off, they all have to start over. The Challengers are doing well and so are the Champs on this one (even though they are still an entire artifact behind). The Champs finish and they are running to get their next task and make up some time. Champs get to the MudPit and really charge through. KA is still struggling through the bamboo poles. The guys are screaming for Susie to finish the MudPit but she's exhausted and doing her best. Susie finally makes it just as KA finishes. Both teams run to their final task.

The final task is a block test. It has 10 blocks numbered 1-10 and I think using the numbers on the blocks they need the blocks to end up in 5 equal stacks. I think. I'm not sure. I hope they can figure it out. Evan: "Any time there's a puzzle, you can count on this: Kenny = useless, Derrick = more than useless, Johnny's so tired from this race, he's puking on the sidelines." HAHA. Evan and Susie are trying to figure it out the puzzle. Susie comes through and they figure it out!!! THEY GET IT. They mess up their puzzle and run. They place the fifth artifact and take off through the secret door.

After 30 minutes elapses, the Challengers each get a puzzle piece to carry back to the junction. I guess after 30 minutes, if you can't figure it out, you get to continue. It's kind of like a time penalty. The Challengers aren't that far behind. There's a bamboo wall for them to all cross along the path to the finish line. The boys help Susie over the wall and they all keep running. The Challengers make it over the wall and they run, too.

The CHAMPIONS WIN!! The Challengers run in and feel defeated. They did really well and have made a name for themselves.

I can't wait for the next one!!

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 9

It's been a couple of weeks. Last time, Brad and Darrell were thrown out for fighting. Susie and Kim are in the Ruins, let's find out who wins...

THE RUINS

Susie and Kim are still doing "ragdoll". It's raining. They trying to pull the rope out of each other's hands. They are bloody and look like they are in pain. Susie FINALLY gets it away from Kim. SUSIE WINS.

Next up is Bananas and Dunbar. They are so rough. Bananas finally pulls it away from Dunbar. BANANAS WINS. Yikes, Challengers are: KA, Sarah and Casey.

Kenny tells us that when he looks at his team, he sees 2 guys and a girl who he's won a challenge with before. And when he looks at the Challengers, he sees "a lying slut, a goth chick and ... Casey."

KA thinks she'll beat Susie in the Ruins so she wants to go in next time.

Back at the house...Kenny and Evan keep terrorizing Sarah. Sarah still has a thing for Kenny, but he's NOT interested. So he totally makes fun of her and disrespects her and she just says she knows he's joking. Well, I suppose under these circumstances, it's best to just hold your head high and ignore it rather than fly into a drunken rage like all the others.

Bananas is trying to sabotage Susie. He claims that she threw all these missions in the last Challenge game and that she doesn't care about this Ruins. Susie and Bananas are arguing and Susie is denying any betrayals - past or present - and reminds Bananas that she made it to the end before!

Bananas is stirring the pot and telling Evan and Derrick that Susie has done NOTHING to show she wants to be there and that she's played this way before. WTF? That's bullshit. Susie has totally been a team player...that's why she's still there! HELLO? Bananas is desperate. He's the one who's expendable on that team. Bananas says that Susie has to go. Evan tells us that their only chance is to throw the next challenge so that KA can take Susie out in the Ruins. Seriously??? Now you guys are listening to BANANAS??? C'mon Derrick. Don't get sucked in.

Susie interviews that she feels that the game has gotten really shady. She says "If you can't beat a team of girls, then you have more problems than just me being on your team." She has a point. However, the real issue is whether SUSIE can beat the team of girls. Because if Susie doesn't make it to the finish line, the other team wins.

Kenny keeps making fun of Sarah. He tells Sarah that she looks like "Martha Dumptruck" in her outfit. HAHA. The teasing is starting to get to Sarah. Susie goes to talk to Sarah. Susie tells us that Sarah's feelings are getting hurt because the teasing is mean, but that Sarah loves Kenny so much, she's willing to tolerate the abuse. Awful. Kenny sucks. Sarah is crying to Susie and Susie is trying to build up her confidence. Evan comes out to the pool and gives Sarah a flower. It's a nice gesture and he interviews that Sarah loves the attention, but now that she's upset, he feels bad because they never wanted to hurt her feelings. I think Kenny and Evan are just super immature. I think they like to push and push until people reach their breaking points and THEN they say they didn't mean it. Evan tells Sarah that they all really love her and don't mean to hurt her.

Susie wants to know why Bananas is now shit-talking her. She tells us that Bananas is all about "the team, the team, the team" until...it negatively affects him and then it becomes all about him. She asks Evan what the problem is and that she's not going to keep doing the right thing if she's going to get screwed. Then Evan says if they fight fire with fire, Susie and Bananas will BOTH look stupid. Susie says "Yeah, but I look stupid with $40,000". Evan interviews: "In a final challenge, it's about your weakest link. I think it's fair to say that Susie would be our slowest player. And how much do we need her here for that? It's a money thing, it's a greed thing, it's a sexist thing, it's a mean thing." Well, he's right. It's a game. But it totally sucks. I really like Susie.

Bananas is still on his "Get Rid of Susie" campaign. He tells Evan "She's not a team player at all. She's in it for Susie. Bananas says that Susie is slow and that KA and Sarah are quick. He says it comes down to "You're only as good as your slowest player. She's f-ing slow." WHAT is Bananas talking about?? She's there BEST female player. That's why she's still there. She's gone into The Ruins 3 times and won every time. Bananas tells us that he's worried about having Susie around at the end and he doesn't want her around. He says that she can't assist other people and she can't pull her own weight. Whatever. Bananas is a d-bag. Evan interviews "Johnny wants to throw the challenge. He wants to throw the challenge, allow the other team to put in KA and take out Susie."

Kenny is still terrorizing Sarah. Now he's wearing her swim cap and teases "who wears a swim cap?" Um, SWIMMERS do, Kenny. If you are a REAL swimmer, then you wear a swim cap. What a meathead. Sarah answers "I don't know...anyone who swims competitively!" Absolutely. Dumbass. He teases that she's not Michael Phelps and Sarah fights back. Sarah: "Why is it so difficult for you not to be a jackass? I hope your mother watches this and knows what a fucking asshole you are to girls. Does she raise you to treat women like this?" Kenny interviews "Hold on sweetheart. You're not prepared to play this game. So you should chill out, take a step back and realize who you're playing with." Kenny walks out calling Sarah a "slut". She hit him where it hurt...his mother. Guy's got issues.

Sarah and Susie are talking about the challenge. Susie tells Sarah that Bananas wants the guys to throw the challenge so KA can take Susie out in The Ruins. Susie interviews that she's not sure what's going to happen but she doesn't want to go up again KA in The Ruins. Susie says "KA isn't a human, she's a fembot and could clearly beat me 'cuz I'm a mortal." ha.

THE CHALLENGE

No nominations because it's obvious. No guy Ruins and it's Susie against any of the three Challengers.

The Game: "Wall Walker". There are two walkways extended out at the top of a 20 story building. They are connected by a slanted ramp and there are 3 vases with a rose in each of them on the top of the ramp. Each player will run up the ramp grab a rose from each vase (if they can) and put it in the vase at the end of their team's runway. Challengers have to pick two people to go twice since there are 5 people on the other team. Evan says that it'll be Sarah and KA because Evan says "We all know Casey doesn't climb, walk, chew gum or fart at the same time." Ha. The team with the most flowers in their vase wins.

Casey is crying to Evan that she doesn't like this stuff because she's scared of heights. Sarah is first. The ramp is really steep. Sarah gets all three flowers in the vase. KA goes next and she gets three flowers. Sarah is up again and she gets 3 more. Evan interviews that these girls are making it look easy and doing awesome and that Champions might lose this. Dumb. KA goes next and slips off the ramp, so 0 flowers. Now, it's Casey's turn...and she sucks. She crawls halfway up and then comes down and gives up. They ask what she's doing and Casey cries "I'm taking this (the helmet) off, what does it look like?" TJ says that it looks like she's having a temper tantrum and tells her she's disqualified. Challengers = 9 roses.

Now, the Champions. Derrick says that in order to throw the challenge, three of the guys need to screw up and it's not him. Derrick gets 3 flowers. Bananas is up next and he says that they just need to get less than 9 flowers. He gets all three flowers and put them in his mouth. Then as he's coming down, they "fall" out of his mouth. He says if you drop a few flowers, it looks like an accident and people feel embarrassed for you. Susie is annoyed. But now she's up and she gets 3 more flowers for her team. Kenny doesn't think it's worth it to throw the challenge so he gets 3 flowers for the team. They will at least be tied. Evan is next and he...doesn't throw the challenge. Champions = 12 roses. Champions win!! Kenny and Evan's egos outweigh any "alliance" they have with Bananas. Heh. Evan says that he promised Susie he wouldn't throw the challenge. He asks "Why do we have to screw over the girl at the very end?" That's what they did to Paula Walnuts. I'm glad he's learned SOMETHING. I just hope Susie pulls it off during the final challenge.

TJ tells the Champions, since Susie is the only girl, she gets to choose her opponent in The Ruins. Susie says that she's not much of a gambler, so she's picking Casey. Bananas says this is the second challenge where Susie basically slacks off the whole time and gets her way in the end. WHAT is he talking about??? Seriously! She's done well the whole time, she's kicked ass in The Ruins. Why is he such a d-bag? He should have told the guys that he likes Susie but that it doesn't make sense to have her at the end because Sarah and KA are strong. The way he went about it was ALL WRONG. He tried to bash her to get the guys to side with him and they just saw it as mean. If he had explained his reasoning behind getting Susie kicked out and throwing the challenge, the guys might have sided with him.

The Champion boys are talking and Bananas says the problem with these guys is they only think about short term gain. Bananas tells the guys that it's not the guys against KA & Sarah, it's Susie against KA and Sarah. See? He should have used this tactic BEFORE the challenge. Kenny says that they will be doing most of the work and dragging her across the finish line. Kenny tells us that he's just as worried about Bananas as he is about Susie because he can't have Bananas flipping out and screaming at Susie the whole time.

Susie is venting to Sarah. She asks Sarah "If you were Bananas and you thought I was the biggest loser ever, wouldn't you keep it to yourself until the very end?" Sarah agrees and says yes, especially since Susie is on his team. Susie doesn't understand what kind of strategy he's employing to totally insult someone who could help him win $30K.

THE RUINS

The game: "Muay Thai". There's a row of 17 bamboo poles on each side. They have to kick and break each one of the bamboo poles and ring the gong as fast as possible. What? That's the most ridiculous Ruins ever. Anyone could do this. Casey tells us she actually has a shot. Susie says that she has a lot of money to lose so she has to win. Plus, if she loses to Casey, she "might as well curl up in the fetal position and die." Casey is feeling confident because this is a challenge she could potentially win.

Ready...GO! Susie easily walks down the path kicking and breaking each bamboo pole. She walks up and hits the gong while Casey is still in the middle of the path. SUSIE WINS!

The guys are talking and Evan says they have to pump Susie up because they are relying on her to win the final challenge. Evan says: "We got an ex fat kid (Kenny - wow, that explains A LOT!), a father (derrick), an asshole (Bananas), a Canadian (Evan) and a married lady (What? Susie is married?) versus a Fembot and a poet." I love Evan sometimes. He's funny. Evan tells the guys to put the bullshit aside and go get some cash!

See you next week for the finale!!

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 8

Last week: Johanna and Cohutta went home.

Everyone is getting drunk and celebrating KA's 23rd birthday. Dunbar decides he's not drinking for the rest of the challenge. He doesn't care that it's KA's birthday. Susie tells KA that there's no better way to celebrate your birthday than being in your "birthday suit". Because KA is drunk, she gets NAKED and runs around the house. Two words: TRAIN WRECK. Evan says that the Champions are "happy as pigs in shit." He's the king of the one-liners.

Brad is angry and venting to Susie about Casey doing crappy. Susie sympathizes and tells Brad that Casey is the Champion's best player. Susie tells him that she's holding all the cards. The Champions need her to win the challenges and they need her vote. She tells Brad that she's going to tell her team that she wants to go against Casey in the Ruins and, if they don't agree, she has an incentive to throw the challenge.

KA confronts Dunbar because apparently there's a rumor that KA and Dunbar slept together. Dunbar is denying that they had sex and denying that he started that rumor. She's drunk and slurring her anger. Brad takes her outside and tries to talk rationally to her. He tells her to wait until the next day to confront Dunbar, but she disagrees. And, she starts crying. OMG. Susie walks up and tries to stop the drama. Brad, why are you trying to reason with the crazy drunk girl.

KA goes into the bathroom and she's crying hysterically. Susie comes in and KA keeps saying that she's never had sex with Dunbar. She's sobbing. WTF? Susie tries to get her to have fun because it's her birthday. KA is not having it. Susie: "Well, at least you had cake." Nice.

Dunbar is talking to Kim. He tells her that KA was always open about wanting to f*** him and whispered in his ear everyday that she wanted him. Hmmm, I saw Real World Sydney and I do NOT remember that.

Brad is WASTED and he's really angry. He walks into the Champions' room and tells Darrell that he looks weak. Brad gets up in Darrell's face and Darrell's pushes him away. Brad says: "Let's roll, baby". He's totally picking a fight with Darrell. MEATHEAD. They start pushing each other. Darrell is trying to stay out of it. Brad is telling him to stand up. Brad is so angry. He keeps calling Darrell "son". Brad needs to calm down. Brad keeps yelling for Darrell to stand up and fight him and Darrell calls him a little bitch. That does it...Brad is REALLY PISSED now. He goes up to Darrell and pushes him and Darrell pushes him away. Evan tries to stop it from getting worse. Too late...Darrell pushes Brad to the floor and just starts punching his head over and over until Kenny, Evan and Bananas pull him off. Holy crap. Brad can't stand up and his eye is gushing blood. Brad runs out of the room and is out of control. The Producer finally catches up with Brad and kicks him out. HOLY SHIT...Brad's eye is FUCKED UP. It's HUGE. He can't even open it. Darrell goes home, too. Brad interviews that he was stressed and just lost it and he's sorry. Darrell also apologizes in his interview and says that he likes Brad. CRAZY.

Sarah fills KA in on the drama from the night before. Dunbar is the only guy left. He has to go into the Ruins each time from now on. KA brings up that Dunbar lied about sleeping with her. She's going nuts about it. WoW! Dunbar tells Kim that KA is sad because she's sleeping alone. KA is listening and keeps pushing him. He tells her to leave him alone and she says she won't leave him alone until he admits that he lied about sleeping with KA. OMG. She is the new Mayor of Crazytown.

They all go out into town for drinks. Susie says that Sarah is in love with Kenny. She also thinks that Kenny likes Sarah because he pulls her hair and treats her badly, like a school boy with a crush. Awesome. They all sit and eat and Bananas dares Kenny to make out with Sarah. Kenny refuses, so Sarah gets up and kisses Kenny. That's all he needs...more ego.

CHALLENGE

Nominations:

Champions: Kenny, Derrick, Bananas, Susie
Challengers: Dunbar, Kim, Casey, KA

The Game: "On the Fence" - There's a giant structure with a series of three chain link fences suspended over the edge of a 20 story building. Today team members will be racing across the fences and ringing the gong at the end. If you fall, you get a 15 minute penalty. The team with the fastest combined time will win.

First up are Kim and Kenny. She is keeping up. Kenny wins, but Kim is not far behind. Next up are KA and Bananas. Bananas wins. Next, Evan and Dunbar race and Evan wins. Sarah and Derrick go next and Derrick is being crazy. He's shaking the fence to try and knock her off. Derrick wins. Finally, it's Casey and Susie. Casey is terrified, as usual. Susie kills it. Casey is so ridiculous. Her team is so annoyed. The Champions LOVE her because she sucks.

Champions win.

Deliberations: Kenny and Evan are talking about what they are going to do. They decide they are not letting Susie choose Casey. The boys pick Kim. They all vote Bananas in.

THE RUINS

Ragdoll: Each player will begin holding a rope inside a circle. When TJ says "GO", they will need to pull the rope out of the other player's hand. The one who does it, WINS.

Susie v. Kimberly

It's pouring rain.

TO BE CONTINUED!!! WTF??

See you next week.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 7

Last time: The teams are tied after Veronica and Cyrus lost the Ruins.

The girls are all swimming and Bananas and Evan join them. Interesting...with Casey, KA, Kim, Sarah, Susie and Johanna being the only girls left, no one is sloppy drunk or naked in the pool. BUT, they decide to play "Truth or Dare." Good times.

Kenny says to Susie "Would you or would you not F*** Cohutta?" Susie says "Yeah. Sure." Cohutta totally perks up. He's totally got a crush on Susie. HA! Someone dares Sarah to bite Bananas' nipple. She does it. Kenny dares Kim to get naked and run around the pool. Instead, she takes off her top and flashes everyone before jumping in the pool. Kim says that Sarah is flirting with Kenny. Sarah tells us that she was not flirting and that she hasn't done anything with anyone. Kenny tells us that it's inevitable for all the girls to want him because most women do. Ass. Kenny dares Casey to get on a table, moon everyone and then jump in the pool. She does.

Evan and Kenny go back to the house and they hear what sounds like two animals wrestling, so they investigate. They go upstairs and hear giggling and moaning and they bust open the bathroom door to find Kim topless in there with DUNBAR. HAHA. Busted. Kim claims that she was talking strategy.

The Champions are talking about the fact that Brad is realizing what a mistake it was not getting rid of Casey sooner. Casey goes to Brad and asks what her odds are. Evan tells her that if the Champions win, she's not going in. Evan tells US that "Casey is nervous. Chihuahuas are nervous because they are small and can get stepped on. Casey feels the same way. She doesn't have an athletic bone in her body. As long as Casey is on their team, we can't lose." True dat.

The Challengers (minus Casey) are talking about sending Casey in if they win. Sarah says that Casey is good for team morale, but Brad and Dunbar say that it's not a cheerleading squad or a sing-a-long, it's a competition for $120K.

[Commercial: STFU!! There's a show called JERSEY SHORE coming to MTV on Dec 3rd. Get ready for a whole new crazy. That's going to be awesome.]

Susie and Johanna are stressed out a little about being the only girls left. Susie asks if Johanna wouldn't mind going in. Johanna agrees. Challengers are asking them to throw the challenge because that's the only way the girls on the Champions will go in the Ruins against Casey. HAH!

THE CHALLENGE

Nominations:

Champions: Johanna, Susie, Darrell, Evan and Kenny
Challengers: Sarah, Casey, Kim, Brad, Dunbar and Cohutta

The Game: "Rotary Club" - [Cohutta: "My hillbillie self knows automatically that you're gonna be rollin your happy ass down this hill in a huge tractor tire which is not fun." LOVE HIM!] TJ confirms it. Team members are going to get into the tractor tire and roll themselves down the hill into the endzone. Once in the endzone, the team member must roll the tire up the hill for the next team member. All 7 team members must do it. One team member must be a "tracker" so that if one team member gets off-course before the endzone, the tracker can help put them back on track.

Evan is the "tracker" for the Champions and Brad is the "tracker" for the Challengers. Challengers are up first. Cohutta is first. It kind of looks fun, but it's bouncing so much it probably hurts. Kim is next and screams the whole time. Next up is KA. That is a heavy-ass tire. Casey is next and also screams the whole time. The hardest part for Casey is pushing the tire up the hill. Susie says it's a total joke watching Casey and kind of sad. Sarah is next followed by Dunbar. Brad is now up and Cohutta tracks him. They finish and Champions are now up. Johanna is first. Susie is second and it looks painful. Derrick is next, followed by Bananas. Then Darrell is up and Kenny and Evan, who says he feels like a fat kid in a little coat. HAHAHA.

And the winner is: The CHAMPIONS!

Deliberations: Darrell picks Cohutta. Johanna picks Sarah. She decides that if she picks Casey and loses, it would be a HUGE embarassment.

Sarah and Susie have a boring conversation about the power of positive thinking. YAWN. Bring one of the crazies back. Cohutta is feeling nervous about The Ruins. He's so cute. Johanna feels pretty checked out. I think she's saying that because she doesn't want to be all psyched and work hard and then lose.

This show is boring now that all the drama queens have left.

Evan interviews: "Johanna, how much do you want to be here? Sarah wants to be here as much as a fat kid loves cake." HAHA.

THE RUINS

"Crunch" - Each player will be hanging from bamboo - over a dunk tank - in the "crunch" position with 40lbs of weight on their chest. The object is not to drown. Sweet. If a team member wants out, they pull their emergency release and they're done. The person who lasts the longest wins.

Johanna v. Sarah

Johanna is struggling. She keeps dunking herself under and repositioning. Sarah is calmly hanging on. Johanna pulls the emergency release and ... SARAH WINS.

Darrell v. Cohutta

They both are doing ok. Cohutta starts to struggle and pulls the release. DARRELL WINS. :(

Cohutta says that there's nothing good about losing until he sees his "Susie" and she gives him a hug. Everyone tells her to kiss him and she gives a smooch on the lips and he's so happy!! I think they would make a very cute couple...except she's a little too academic for him. But they are both so sweet.

Back at the house, Brad is lecturing Casey about stepping up. He says that he doesn't see her on the treadmill or working out, he sees her smoking cigarettes and drinking booze. He's not seeing any effort. Casey doesn't give a shit. Brad says it bothers him that she feels like she deserves to go to the end with no effort and drag her team down.

See you next time.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 6

Last time on The Ruins: Ibis was betrayed and went home. WES lost to Cohutta and went HOME!

Why do they make the intro so stupid and cheesy?

KA is reading a letter that Wes left for her telling her that he loves her. Now KA is bored and wants to go home. Annoying.

Susie and Johanna are chatting on the balcony and Susie says that she genuinely wants Veronica to take KA out in The Ruins. Johanna agrees.

Bananas is telling Evan that the Champions need to diversify their strategy and make decisions that benefit the entire team, not just one person. Bananas is questioning his alliance with Evan and sees that the Challengers are all gunning for him. I don't know. After he stabbed Ibis in the back last week, I think he should go into The Ruins. Evan sees that Bananas is playing scared and doesn't trust him.

Veronica is talking to Casey and KA. Veronica doesn't trust anyone and she says that when you're not having conversations about the game with other people, they are having those conversations about you. She's right. But, I don't care because I do not like Veronica. KA tells Veronica to hurt herself so her teammates can't put her in The Ruins. SHADY. Derrick is watching the girls talk and thinks that she may have a deal with Casey and KA to throw the challenge in exchange for not getting picked for The Ruins. He thinks Veronica is the type of person who would throw a challenge.

CHALLENGE DAY

Nominations:

Champions - Derrick, Syrus, Bananas, Veronica, Susie and Johanna
Challengers - Dunbar, Brad, Cohutta, Sarah, Casey and KA.

The Game: "Fruits of Your Labor" - Each team has an obstacle course and a large bin of fruit at the beginning of the course. The object is to take as much fruit with you through the obstacle course and dump it into the team's scale at the end of the course. There are 5 different jobs in this obstacle course. In the beginning, the first team members will be "throwers". They will load up their baskets with fruit and throw the fruit over the wall. The team members on the other side of the wall are the "catchers". They will be standing with a burlap sack to catch the fruit that is thrown over the wall. They empty the sack into baskets for the "runners" who will run the baskets to the "delivery guys" at the table. The "delivery guy" will need to pick up the basket with bamboo sticks and take it to the scale. There, the "dumping person" will dump the basket into the scale. The trick is that the team members cannot touch the fruit with their HANDS except for the throwers.

The Champions don't trust Veronica so they put her with Darrell and Evan as a "thrower" so that she can't really throw the game. Kim and Brad will be "throwers" for the Challengers. Syrus and Susie are "catchers" for the Champions and Cohutta and Dunbar are "catchers" for the Challengers. Kim and Veronica can't even get the fruit over the wall. Dunbar is also a "runner", Sarah and KA are the "delivery girls" and Casey is the "dumper" for the Challengers. For the Champions, Kenny is the "runner", Bananas and Derrick are the "delivery guys" and Johanna is the "dumper". Casey is having a hard time "dumping" the basket into the scale. The scale isn't on the ground so she actually has to lift the basket full of fruit and dump it into the scale.

The Challengers have a great strategy. They are picking out all the mangos which are the heaviest fruits. The Champions are just picking fruit at random. Then, it starts raining. The teams have 1 minute left and it's close. And CHAMPIONS WIN!!

Bananas starts to stir the pot and throws Syrus under the bus. He tells Darrell and Evan that Syrus is injured and banged up and dead weight for the team so he should go into The Ruins. Then he goes to talk to Syrus and Derrick. Syrus realizes that Bananas is using him as the scapegoat. So Bananas thinks Syrus is going in BUT Derrick interviews that he hasn't given Bananas his word.

DELIBERATIONS: Veronica, Susie, Johanna, Bananas, Derrick and Syrus are deliberating.

Veronica wants to choose her opponent. But for the girls, the rule has always been that they vote rather than let her choose. So everyone chooses KA. Veronica calls Derrick a coward because he voted for KA to please the team. Derrick says that he voted for what he believes in and he believes Veronica should go up against KA. Veronica asks why and Derrick says that he believes Veronica wanted to throw the challenge so he wouldn't mind if she left. The guys vote Syrus in and he picks Cohutta.

Syrus feels very betrayed and thrown under bus. Evan, Kenny, Johanna and Susie are in a pretty strong alliance. Susie offers to throw herself in next week, but Evan says that they should keep the four of them safe and he's totally comfortable throwing the same people in each time. They agree and then Veronica emerges from one of the bunk beds and says "Evan, did you not know that I was in the room?" BUSTED. Evan responds that he didn't say anything weird and blows it off. Susie interviews that Veronica is annoyed that her "canoodling" with Evan hasn't paid off. Veronica tells Evan that she's upset by what she heard and that she knows they are planning to get rid of her. Evan replies that there's no "plan" and Veronica tells him that she's not stupid. She's got a point. Evan, you guys totally have a plan and Veronica knows it. Just admit it and move on. Evan tells Veronica that they have a good "relationship" and every time he does something in the game that doesn't coincide with how he should be in a "relationship", Veronica takes it personally and she shouldn't. Hmmm. I see his point. This is a game so try to separate it from the "relationship". But, they are only in a "relationship" BECAUSE of the game. I think that's where the confusion lies.

Veronica tells Casey and KA what she overheard. Veronica says that if she and Syrus come back shit will hit the fan. She says that Veronica and Syrus will start throwing challenges...although I disagree. Syrus is a good sport...he won't throw challenges.

THE RUINS

The game: "Hog Tie" - Each player will be tied to a pole with their hands and feet and suspended upside down. When TJ says "GO", the player will need to shimmy themselves to the other end of the pole collecting a key along the way. At the end, they will lay on a platform and use the key to unlock their hands and feet. Then they will run back to the start and hit the gong. First one wins.

Cohutta says "if a man's got a real good shimmy about him, I think he'll be ahright." LOVE Cohutta.

Cohutta v. Syrus

They both shimmy across the pole and they are on the platform. Syrus has some trouble unlocking himself and COHUTTA WINS.

KA v. Veronica

The girls are having trouble shimming across the pole. KA makes it to the platform first. KA easily unlocks herself before Veronica even makes it to the platform. KA WINS!

Evan interviews "Veronica, our relationship had its ups and downs. I'm gonna miss you. But not really." Heh.

The teams are now EVEN. Seven members on each team. Cohutta has a target on his back because he has the most $$ in his bank account from winning the 2 Ruins.

Bananas is up to no good. He wants to wait until Derrick passes out and then put maple syrup and feathers on him so he looks like a bird. Derrick is not completely out and he jumps off the top bunk onto Bananas and starts to wrestle with him. He interviews that he sleeps with pictures of his family on the bed and it's a sacred area for him. So the maple syrup and feathers pissed him off and made him flip out. Bananas is pissed that Evan is not jumping in to help him. Evan interviews that Bananas was the one who brought the feathers: "who brings feathers to Thailand? What are you? A freakin' drag queen?" HAHA! Kenny and Evan finally restrain Derrick and Bananas yells "There's 14 people in this fucking house and I'M the one who's always doing stuff" insinuating that he's being wrongfully blamed for the syrup and feathers prank. Um...but it was your idea, Bananas, and those were YOUR feathers and YOU were pouring the syrup and putting on the feathers. Kenny interviews about Bananas: "This is why no one likes you. You're an idiot!" HAHA.

See you next week.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 5

Previously on...The Ruins: Tanya got drunk, hit Veronica and went home. Katie and Danny go HOME!

The opening credits are so freaking cheesy.

The kids have the day off so they are exploring Thailand and playing on the beach...oh and drinking. KA and Cohutta and hanging out and they both interview that things didn't work out but they are still friends and they care about each other. Hmmm. Foreshadowing. OH GAWD! Wes interviews that Cohutta fell in love with KA and has been OBSESSED with her for so long and that KA hurt him, but she still feels bad for him. WHATEVER, Wes. I think Cohutta is just a genuinely good person. He doesn't seem "obsessed" with KA at ALL. No one wants your girlfriend, Wes. Move on!

Back at the house. Wes is talking to Johanna. Talk about obsessed! I think Wes is still hung up on her. They talk about what went wrong and I guess their biggest issue was that Johanna just didn't trust Wes. Not surprising. Johanna says that coming into this challenge with a girlfriend or boyfriend is the stupidest thing. I kind of agree. Johanna says that she has a problem with Wes having sex next to her with KA. I don't think that's happened...I think she's just talking about how Wes is there with KA and probably doing the nasty while Johanna is in the same house. It's awkward. Johanna interviews that she needs to separate "personal life" with Wes from "team life" with Wes and it's really challenging for her. I can understand that. She tells Wes that she'd rather him not talk to her at all than have him be nice one day and not the next. Wes interviews that he feels like Johanna doesn't care that much about their friendship as Wes does.

Nighttime. Wes tells KA that Cohutta is getting a little frisky when he's drunk. KA tells Wes to shut up. Wes interviews that Cohutta forgets that he was practically never KA's boyfriend and that Wes is her boyfriend now. Dumb. Wes tells KA that's he going into the Ruins against Cohutta. KA says that she doesn't want him to but that's all she can do. She can't prevent Wes from doing it. Wes says that Cohutta's going home no matter what - it's just a matter of who gets his $$. Wes says that "people" have been calling him a Renegade (really?), but he wants to be bounty hunter and take people out for the "bounty" on their heads. GET OVER YOURSELF!

Johanna, Susie and Ibis are strategizing about how to get rid of Veronica so that the 3 of them will be safe until the end. Of course, Veronica overhears this. Veronica goes straight to Evan and Susie goes out on her balcony so that she can hear what they are saying. SO SNEAKY!! Evan interviews that "The Queen Bee overhears a conversation between Johanna, Susie and Ibis..." HA! I'm starting to really like Evan. Yes, he's a meathead, but he's funny. He says that Veronica finally comes with her tail between her legs to talk to Evan. HA! Veronica tells Evan that Susie is not going to nominate herself tomorrow and Evan agrees that she shouldn't because she's gone in everytime. Veronica spots Susie. Then she tells Evan that he told her he would NEVER vote for Susie. So Veronica thinks that it was a set up so that it would be between Susie and Veronica getting nominated and Evan already told Veronica that he wouldn't vote for Susie, so Veronica goes in. Evan's pissed that Veronica thinks he set it all up. Evan sees that Veronica is kissing his ass to say in the game. What will Evan do??

Challenge Day.

Nominations:

Champions: Veronica votes herself in since she knows she'd be picked anyway. The team wants Veronica to go against KA. So it's Veronica, Johanna and Ibis. Evan, Kenny, Wes.
Challengers: Casey, Kim, KA, Brad, Dunbar, Cohutta

The Game: Each team has a lane. There's a 15 foot pole with a gong on top at one end and building blocks at the other end. The concept is to use your team blocks to build a stairway up to reach the gong and hit it. There's a catch! There will be two guys/two girls holding onto the opponents pole. Each team will have to rip the opponents off of their pole and carry them back to their blocks before they can start building. Only the three guys who were nominated will be participating in the challenge to even out the teams. First team to ring the gong wins.

KA, Casey, Brad and Cohutta will be holding onto the Champion's pole. Kim, Sarah and Dunbar will be pulling the Champions off their pole. Wes, Veronica, Ibis and Evan will be holding onto the Challenger's pole. Susie, Johanna and Kenny are pulling the Challengers off their pole.

Ready? GO! Brad basically walked off the pole so he could help his team. Casey was dragged out first. Kenny drags Cohutta out next. Challengers get Ibis out. Next Wes is pulled out. KA is out and now Champions can start building their locks. Evan is still on the pole. Champions quickly build their stairway and hit the gong! Champions win.

Deliberations:

Wes throws himself in and picks Cohutta. The team basically doesn't value Veronica and votes her in. Veronica is fighting for Ibis to go in. TJ comes up and takes a vote. It comes down to Evan. 3 votes for Veronica v. KA or Veronica v. Kimberly. Evan needs to vote. He says that he promised not to vote for Ibis but it's nice having Veronica around because she flirts with him and has big boobs and a big ass. Nice, Evan. Evan picks Veronica and says she can pick. So Veronica is voted in and it's a tie between KA or Kimberly. Since they are deadlocked, the entire team will come in to vote on the TWO girls going in. They basically threw out the part where Veronica was unanimously voted in.

Syrus: Ibis v. Kimberly
Derrick: Ibis v. Kimberly
Susie: Veronica v. KA
Darrell: Ibis v. Kimberly
Bananas: Ibis v. Kimberly
Johanna: Veronica v. KA
Evan: Veronica v. KA
Wes: Ibis v. Kimberly
Kenny: Veronica v. KA
Ibis: Veronica v. KA
Veronica: Ibis v. Kimberly

DAMN. Now it's Ibis v. Kimberly. Ibis is pissed. She should be. Why did everyone screw her over?? WTF?

Wes goes in and tells Cohutta that he's going in against him. Wes tells them about the girl drama. Bananas tries to back peddle and explain why he voted for Ibis and Ibis doesn't want to hear it. She tells Bananas to STFU!

Ibis feels betrayed by Derrick because they are good friends and he voted her into the Ruins. Derrick feels bad but he feels that Veronica has been doing a better job. Ibis is out for revenge. Johanna, KA and Veronica are all talking about Wes. Johanna is saying that Wes is talking shit. KA is trying to defend Wes. Weird. KA goes to talk to Wes. KA says that Wes is so wishy-washy about Johanna. One minute he hates her and the next minute she's his friend. KA wants him to make up his mind. Wes interviews that he is SO MAD at Johanna but that doesn't mean that he doesn't love her a little bit. OUCH! Move on, KA!

Cohutta and KA are talking. I love Cohutta. KA tells him that she'll be sad no matter who wins.

The RUINS

"The Spool" - Object is to unwrap your rope as fast as possible. Each player starts on one side with a rope attached to them. They have to make their way over, around, and under bamboo poles unwrapping their rope as they go. First person to unwrap their rope wins.

Wes v. Cohutta

HOLY SHIT! Cohutta WON!!! Wes is going home! OMG! That was awesome. KA is sad. It's the first time he's ever lost. He walks over and hugs Cohutta. Cohutta wins and takes Wes's money. CHA-CHING! Wow. Wes actually went out like a winner and wished everyone luck.

Ibis v. Kimberly

Kimberly wins. Wow. Two Champions out. I feel bad for Ibis. She's going out a winner, too.

Susie and Kimberly are calling Johanna out for feeling sad that Wes is gone. Johanna interviews that she's confused because one minute she hates Wes and the next she cares about him. They have a history and were going to get married.

All the girls are talking and KA (!!) is giving Johanna a hard time for not clapping for Wes. WTF? Why does she care? Johanna says that she didn't clap for either one, Cohutta or Wes. She doesn't feel like cheering on someone who treats her like shit. But, she does care about him. Johanna tells KA that she and Wes broke up a year and a half ago and she doesn't care about KA and her relationships. She just asks that KA leave her alone. KA says she doesn't severely dislike Johanna anymore, but they aren't friends. Weird. Drama.

See you next week.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 4

Everyone is drinking...surprise, surprise. Katie is getting in on the drunk action. FINALLY!! I know she's engaged now, but I bet she's still got a little crazy in her. Katie and Veronica are slurring to each other about a plunger that was in Katie's bed. WTF? Kenny and Evan are laughing and Katie goes ape shit. She starts screaming/slurring and waving the plunger around. Kenny is such a dick. He says that Katie is dead weight and ugly. What? Seriously?? These kids need an education and some maturity.

Brad, Dunbar, KA and Sarah are motivating each other to really kick ass. They don't really have anyone else to lose at this point. They just need to fight to stay in the game.

In another room, the Mayor of Crazytown (Tonya) is totally shitfaced. She's slurring and falling down. Bad. Derrick and Bananas are talking to her (and laughing). Now Evan comes in and makes it worse. Cohutta looks on and interviews that Johnny, Kenny and Evan really give Tonya a hard time, but she makes such an easy target. Just after than, we see Evan squirting sunscreen on Tonya's back as she tries to walk away. Then someone throws baby powder on her face. Jeez. These guys are ridiculous. Evan interviews "It's always fun to pick on the confused kid. The one person that will get angry, get mad, pee her pants and then go to bed." Wes says that Tonya is a ticking time bomb. Jeez. I kind of feel bad for her. Those guys are assholes.

The next day Tonya and Katie are talking outside. Katie is telling Tonya that she has to separate her real life from the challenge and she sympathizes and says that she's a lot like Tonya. I have to admit, when she's sober, Katie is actually a good person. Ibis asks what happened and Tonya just says that she wishes she didn't drink as much as she does. MTV should do a Real World/Road Rules Rehab show. They could have Dr. Drew run it. It would be like Celebrity Rehab, but just with Real World/Road Rules people.

Ibis is encouraging Tonya to try not to drink as much. I get that she's being supportive, but it doesn't usually work that way. Tonya needs professional help. As Brad says, Tonya just got divorced and needs to get her shit together. That's not going to happen on this show. I understand that Tonya is an adult and makes her own decisions. But, I feel like MTV should be a little more responsible and not hire her when they know she's so messed up. I mean, it makes for good TV, but if she overdoses or something, that's a huge liability...not to mention bad press.

Later that night, Evan and Kenny are back at it. Katie is the target again. They put the plunger in her bed. She's drunk and gets all irate. She's yelling at Evan and Kenny and Sarah is in there and just laughs quietly at the trainwreck in front of her. I can't really blame her. It's a total shit show. Katie gets really mad that Sarah is laughing and orders her to get the F out of her room. [Tangent - This totally reminds me of when my sister and I would fight and she would get so mad that it would make me laugh. And the more I laughed the angrier she got...which it made it even funnier. Ahhh. Good times.] Sarah is shocked and Katie keeps screaming for her to leave. Bananas and Ibis are sitting with their heads down until Katie starts chasing Sarah out of the room. Then Bananas holds her back and yells for her to calm down. Two words: Hot Mess! Katie makes it clear she does NOT like Sarah. Wow.

Commercial - I REALLY WANT TO SEE PARANORMAL ACTIVITY!!!!

Sarah is feeling sad that Katie doesn't like her. Evan and Kenny are trying to make her feel better. Evan brings her flowers to make her feel included and welcome her back to the group. SO DUMB. I get it, Katie is insane. But, Kenny and Evan are assholes. I guess there isn't much to choose from.

CHALLENGE DAY

Nominations:
Challengers - Dunbar, Danny, Cohutta, Sarah, Casey and Kim
Champions - Darrell, Derrick, Bananas, Tonya, Katie and Susie

The Challenge - "Burning Bridge" - Teams must build a floating bridge out to their team raft and then light the torch on the raft. Each team member will take turns swimming out to retrieve a piece of the bridge. Once there, the team member will need to release it from it's anchor and then take it to it's place leading to the raft. Once the bridge is completed, one team member will run across it with a torch and light the torch on the raft. First team to do this, wins.

Katie and Kim will be lighting the torches for their teams.

Wes is first to swim for the Champions and Brad is going for the Challengers. Brad falls a little behind. Next up are Bananas and Danny. Followed by Veronica and Sarah. Sarah kicks ass and closes the gap between the teams. Tonya and Dunbar are next. Tonya goes out there and gets lost. She can't release the bridge piece and Challengers pull ahead. Next up is Cohutta for the Challengers. He gets back and it's KA and Johanna. Champions are one behind. Then, it's Casey for the Challengers and she's swimming slow ass backstroke out to the pieces. Evan calls her a drowning kitten. She finally makes it to the piece and gets on top of it, then rolls off like a seal. She starts panicking and takes these loud breaths. She's freaking out. Meanwhile, Syrus takes off for the Champions followed by Ibis and Darrell. The Champions pull ahead and Susie goes out. Casey is still having issues. Kenny is off for the Champions and Casey is not able to release the piece. Evan takes off and finishes the bridge. Katie takes off and is basically crawling along the bridge, but it doesn't matter because Casey is STILL out there.

Champions win.

The nominees are all deliberating and deciding who goes into The Ruins.

Champions: Katie volunteers and asks to pick Casey. Bananas says that Casey helped them win because she sucks so they want to keep her. So, Katie chooses Sarah. Darrell volunteers and picks Danny.

Nighttime. Tonya is completely wasted. Bananas interviews that Tonya is always the unstable, knucklehead female but tonight she's in Defcon 5 mode. Heh. OMG!!! She's talking to Wes and there's a moth flying around. She catches it in her hand and EATS IT!!! GROSS. Even Wes is laughing and looking at her like she's crazy. She chases it down with some beer. Sick.

Tonya is now outside talking to Veronica and Casey. She says to Veronica that she's still reliving the other challenge they were on together.

FLASHBACK: Veronica is telling Tonya - in front of a group of people - "No more masterbating when we're all still up talking in the same room." Veronica then starts demonstrating what Tonya does and Tonya clearly looks embarassed and annoyed.

Back to present day. Veronica just says that it was funny and Tonya says it wasn't funny to her. Tonya then says that it was "the rudest f****** thing you could ever say". Veronica doesn't understand and is kind of smiling and Tonya is angry. Veronica walks inside and Tonya follows her in. Tonya stops to scream that "Veronica is leaving!" to Bananas, Derrick, Dunbar, and Cohutta. She says that she hates Veronica more than she's ever hated anyone in her entire life.

Veronica is in another part of the house eating - noodles, I think - with Kim and they both talk about how crazy Tonya is and how she's more of a drunk now than she was before. Tonya comes into the room and tells Veronica to shut the F*** up. Now, Wes, Bananas, Cohutta and others are in the room. Rather than just ignore Tonya, Veronica decides to argue back. Veronica is not getting angry enough, so Crazytrain Tonya walks up to her and hits the noodles out of Veronica's hand all over Kim!! Tonya looks like a mad woman. She's got her glasses on, her hair is wild and she's in Veronica's face. Veronica is just laughing at her and telling Tonya how crazy she is. Tonya is just yelling in Veronica's face and Veronica is backing away. Tonya tells her "You don't make fun of someone who is half your age!!" Veronica yells back "Who here is half my age? You're not half my age." Tonya: "Not now." Veronica: "Not ever!" What a ridiculous conversation. Tonya tries to say she's sober, but no one is buying it. She's totally gone off the deep end. Wes interviews that all Veronica needs to do is step away and be the bigger person. He's right. But Veronica is just not going to do that. She keeps arguing with Tonya. Then, Tonya is standing there and Veronica grins and smirks, "Are you done? You are crazy. Let's just call a spade a spade." Tonya walks up to her and slaps Veronica across the face!!! As crazy as I think Tonya is, Veronica bugs me way more and that slap was AWESOME.

We come back from commercial and we see the slap again. Then Tonya keeps hitting Veronica and pulls her hair and it's a full on brawl. LOVE IT!! Where's the mud?!?! Wes jumps in to break them up and pull them apart and finally Evan comes in to help him. Veronica is smiling, but it's that "I'm totally embarassed that I just got my ass kicked sort of smile." She has a bloody lip. Evan holds onto Tonya and Tonya starts bawling. It's actually kind of sad. She's so broken.

Veronica is so freaking smug, it's irritating. Evan tells her to get out of the room and Veronica brats "Why do I have to leave?" Evan just says "V, it's gone far enough. Get the fuck out!" Veronica finally swaggers out. Tonya is bawling hysterically. Cohutta interviews that everyone in the room is stunned and is realizing that they should have intervened sooner. Evan interviews that "Veronica still doesn't think she did anything wrong. Veronica has "bad news" written all over her and it ain't for me." He's right. I'm torn on Evan. I think Kenny is always a d-bag. But Evan has his moments. He teases Tonya a lot, but you can see that he does care, too. I think it's just immaturity. Evan then interviews "As much as we bug Tonya and Tonya's completely out of her mind, Tonya is a part of our family. And I know that Tonya thinks this is the only family she has. So we need to embrace her, comfort her and get her through this." See? He's not so bad. And, he's smart to stay away from Veronica -- she's SHADY. Evan tells Tonya that no matter what situation she goes home to, he, Kenny, Cohutta, and Bananas will pick up her calls. The producer walks in and Tonya is sent home.

All the players are upstairs and Evan walks in. Veronica asks what she should have done differently. Evan tells her that she's a rational girl and Tonya isn't and that it went too far. Then Bananas says that Veronica went to a place that she shouldn't have gone. I'm assuming he means calling Tonya "crazy". Veronica starts to cry and doesn't understand why "the crazy person who just attacked her" has everyone's support. She expected more "friendship" support from Evan, so no more "cuddle time" for him. Veronica storms out of the room.

Tonya leaves the house. Tonya knows she's an alcoholic. She needs help and I really hope MTV will get her that help. As she's leaving, she says "I'm f****** ruined." It's really sad. I feel sad for her. However, she knew she had a problem before she signed up and yet she still decided to put herself on national television.

The rest of the guys are all talking in the house and Evan says that everyone has their own opinions about what happened. He then says that they've all had their fun at Tonya's expense. Wes speaks up that he NEVER has done or said anything to Tonya and neither has Derrick and neither has Cohutta. Oh snap! Wes points to Evan, Bananas and Kenny and totally calls them out. I don't like Wes that much, but he's so right on here. Wes interviews that those three have harassed and teased and made fun of Tonya from the beginning. Now that Tonya is gone, those three want to be the "good guys" and say that she has all these problems and show their concern. I'm with Wes. Evan gets all defensive and tells Wes he's not Oprah...missing the point entirely.

Katie and Derrick are talking outside. Katie tells him that she's not doing another challenge. Katie interviews that she misses her fiance and that she's ready to be a wife and a mother and move on with her life. THANK GOD! I have a sneaking feeling that Katie is going to lose the Ruins.

THE RUINS

"O Ring" - Each person will be suspended at the center of The Ruins and they will each be holding onto the same "ring" (which is also hanging and suspended). When TJ says "GO", they will have to wrestle the ring away from their opponent. The person to do it twice, wins.

Katie v. Sarah

Katie wins the first one. Sarah wins the second. They are both talking serious shit to each other. SARAH WINS!! Wow. The two crazies are gone. On her way out, Katie says that the most she will remember of her time in Thailand is "bugs and a house full of assholes." Nice. Way to go out on top, Katie.

Darrell v. Danny

Darrell wins the first one. Danny wins the second one. DARRELL WINS!!! Danny is going home.

Susie says that the house has now gotten rid of the two crazies, Tonya and Katie. BUT, she says that she thinks Veronica is close behind in the crazy department. PHEW. I thought it would be boring without a hot mess in the house. Sounds like we may still have one. Veronica tells Casey and KA that she feels like she's next on the chopping block. Evan and Kenny are lying in bed talking strategy. Evan whispers: "The game is about to get real funny and we just need to keep our heads above water 'cause a lot of people are about to sink. You and I have always said 'Make it to the final week and trick everyone until you get there.'"

Until next time...

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 3

Last time on The Ruins: Shauvon's boob popped and she left. Ev threw The Ruins so KA could stay. Wes got angry.

We start out on a boat with all the players just enjoying Thailand. Evan is crushing on Veronica. Tonya is drunk and climbing the mast of the boat and everyone is yelling for her to come down. Attention-seeking behavior! Oh and now she's making out with Aiyaphat who is a "random local". Tonya sure is living up to her reputation as the Mayor of Crazytown. Ewww. Now she's vomiting overboard. Veronica and Evan are flirting like crazy. I think she's using him to align herself with Evan so she's safe. I'm telling you, she's SHADY!

Wes is scolding Evan for the Champions betraying him last week. Evan is trying to reason with Wes and explaining that he has to be a team player in order to gain respect from the team. DUH! Evan also points out that Wes is all about "Me me me" and he needs to think about the team as a whole and that instead Wes is calling Evan selfish. Wes interrupts and says "No, I'm calling you selfish and a coward. Go on." Evan is done and walks away. Wes interviews that the Champions as a team - with the exception of himself of course - are a group of cowards.

Wes is now scolding the entire Champions team. Kenny interrupts and Johanna stops him. She says that Wes is making peace, let him talk. Hmmm...I'm not so sure about making peace, but let's see. Ok, so Wes says that they kept him in the dark about their plan and they tell him that he keeps them in the dark because they don't know what he's going to do on a daily basis. Basically, Wes threw the first challenge, so they are skeptical. Wes interviews that his team is convinced that he's going to throw the rest of the challenges, but that they are "not intelligent good people. they're losers". Wait. Didn't he TELL them he was going to throw the rest of the challenges?? Wes, you can go ahead and lump yourself in with the teammates in the not intelligent category. So now Wes says he needs to prove to his team that he's not here for the money. Apparently, he's giving all of his money to charity. What? Seriously? He's a lot dumber than I thought if he thinks anyone is going to buy that. Johanna totally calls him out. Now he's saying he wants to play fair and inspire kids to do the right thing. I don't even know what to say. Wes is insane. He's possessed. Now he's saying he's ashamed of how people have acted towards him and how he's acted towards others. He wants to "change this right now." WTF? I mean, if it was sincere, it's great. But, c'mon.

No one else believes him either. They are all still talking about throwing him in again. Bananas thinks that he should get off the hook this time. He thinks they should wait until the stronger guys from the Challengers get thrown in because that's when Wes will really be put to the test and he may even lose and leave!

Wes is still on his reformed kick. Wes: "I want to see bad people do good things." From anyone else, I would buy it. Even crazytrain Tonya. But Wes? No way. Evan is telling him that Wes needs to lead by example and people will eventually follow. That's how people will know he means what he says.

Evan and Susie are talking. Susie is willing to always nominate herself...same with Evan and Bananas. Susie realizes that if she stays aligned with Evan, she's safe. But, unlike Veronica, she doesn't have to F*** him.

CHALLENGE DAY.

Nominations
Challengers: Danny, Adam, Brad, Brianna, Casey, Kim
Champions: Evan, Kenny, Syrus, Susie, Veronica, Ibis

Wes is an idiot. He thinks he convinced his teammates that he's a changed man. Wes thinks that they are saying "Oh. He's giving the money away now. He's such a good person. Let's throw him a bone and keep him out of one elimination round." Kenny clarifies in an interview that they aren't giving Wes the week off because of his stupid speech...they are doing it because of how it works out for the rotation. I believe Kenny. Wes is such a Narcissist.

Wes nominates Veronica and everyone votes. Bananas interviews that Veronica sees that Evan is one of the leaders. Instead of working hard and doing a good job, Veronica decides to "F*** the boss and move up the ladder that way." Bananas doesn't respect that at all. heh. Veronica ends up one of the three and now she's questioning her alliance with Evan because she did not expect to be one of the three girls. HEH!

REPO RACE. Two obstacle courses have been set up. They need to get one of the team members all the way through the obstacle course without ever touching the sand. The team does this by all lying in the sand and making a human bridge (with the last person moving to the front to keep the bridge going as the teammate walks on their backs). It's a race so it'll be timed.

Champions select DERRICK. Challengers select COHUTTA. Interesting.

And they're off. Immediately the Champions take the lead. Cohutta touched the sand and he and his team were sent back to the last check point. Challengers make up some time when Champions go back to their last check point. The game is tied right now as they pass through the second of four checkpoints. Champions pull ahead. But then Derrick gets confused. The rules on the last platform tell him to pick up a sand bag and carry it to the finish line without ever letting it touch the sand. It sounds pretty obvious, but Derrick is yelling "what do I do with this?" Hmmm. Bananas interviews that Derrick is tough as nails, but anytime a challenge has "thinking or problem solving or reading involved", it's not his cup of tea. HA! OMG...it's neck and neck. Derrick drops his bag. Oh Dang!! CHALLENGERS WIN!

The Challenger nominees have to decide who goes into the Ruins. Adam, Brianna, Syrus, and Susie are going into the Ruins.

Cohutta and Adam are appreciating the Thai culture. Then, they start talking about how much the deliberation sucks. Adam can't believe Danny didn't get voted in. Meanwhile, Brianna is bitching to Evan that everyone was supposed to vote for Casey and instead, they all voted for her. Evan interviews that Brianna is a tough chick. ("She's got tattoos, she's got a lot of anger in her heart, she's got a very bad hair dye job") HA!!

THE RUINS

The game: "Burnout". Each player starts on their platform with their hands on their hips. Then they grab their wheel and water will come out the pipe in the center of the contraption. They need to redirect the water into their opponent's barrel by turning the wheel. Once full, the barrel will tip into a gutter that leads to the opponent's fire and the water will put it out. First person to put out the opponent's fire wins.

Brianna v. Susie

They are both redirecting. It's stressful...neck and neck. Susie tips the barrel and WINS!!! She also takes Brianna's $$. Bye Brianna.

Adam v. Syrus

They are redirecting. Syrus looks crazy with his wheel turning. Syrus tips the barrel and WINS!! Syrus also takes the $$. Bye Adam.

Challengers have lost a lot of people. In celebration, Champions are playing drinking games. Veronica tells Evan that "it's" going to happen tonight. They are dirty-talking about having sex. And...they end up in bed the next morning. So predictable.

Next time: Tonya slaps Veronica. AWESOME!!

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 2

The Champions are discussing the "Wes" issue. Wes is not trying to repair the damage, so they're back where they started. No one wants to compromise.

Apparently KA and Eve are BFF's. When did this happen? Ev is lying to KA. She's telling her that the girls on the Champions team are scared of KA. WTF?? Since when? Oh and Ev thinks that she and KA are in the same position because they are both the strongest women on their teams. (Ev's using "women" rather loosely. And, it's not hard to the be the best girl on the Challengers).

Johanna is trying to talk some sense into Wes asking him to be a team player. Wes feels misunderstood. Then the coversation moves to Wes parading around with KA - who Johanna does not like for some reason. I'll tell you the reason Johanna - she's clueless with fake boobs who is used to getting by on her looks. Even Wes gets that. He vents to KA and she just stares at him. All the serious DIALOGUES Wes has had have been with Johanna! Not that Johanna is a Rhodes Scholar, but she's smarter than KA. I digress.

Johanna acknowledges that Wes is hurt. He says that she was supposed to be the most important person in the world to him and right after they broke up, she f***** Kenny on National TV. OF COURSE, he's hurt. Johanna doesn't know what to say and decides that she's done trying to protect Wes and be his friend.

It's the night before the challenges and the Champions are strategizing. They've figured out that Wes isn't budging. Bananas interviews that KA is the closest thing Wes has to family at the challenge so now they're going after Wes's friends/family. Hmmm. Bananas asks Katie what she thinks about Ev and KA going into the Ruins. Katie thinks it's a good idea. She feels bad, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

CHALLENGE DAY.

Evan talks to Sarah and Casey to let them in on the plan. Ev vs. KA - the line up of the century.

First, nominations.
Champions: Derrick, Wes, Bananas, Katie, Susie, Ev
Challengers: Cohutta, Nick, Danny, Shauvon, Casey, KA

Wes approaches his team and says he'll throw himself in this time, but if they agree to rotate the 3 guys from here on out and pick names out of a hat, then he'll bust his ass this time. They agree (and then talk about how they just threw KA under the bus and have no intention of picking names out of a hat). heh.

The Game: Two platforms are separated by a fence suspended above the water. Team members must swing from one platform around the fence and land on the other platform. The landing platform is very narrow so team members must stay on. If you fall of at any point (while swinging or off the platform) you must swing again. The game ends when team members are ALL on the landing platform. It's a timed event - fastest time wins.

Champions get to sit out two players so the teams are even. They sit out Katie and Syrus.

Challengers: First up is Danny and he makes it. Next is Adam, then Brianna, then Brad, then Cohutta, then Nick, then KA, then Sarah, then Kimberly , then Dunbar. Next is Casey...she doesn't make it on the platform so she has to go again. This time with the guys' help, she makes it. Next is Shauvon. She's scared, but goes and falls off and does a total bellyflop. Danny is yelling at her to try again. She's telling him that she thinks she busted her implant. WHAT? This is awesome. You can't make this stuff up. It's just too good. The Champions are totally laughing. I mean, it's kind of sad, but seriously...she's totally out of shape (by her own admission), she's competing with girls who try hard and are in really great shape AND she's got these ridiculously HUGE fake boobs. She's just asking for it. She tries again and falls. So 11/12 made it. She's freaking out and is in serious pain. She's convinced she busted an implant. So she's taken away in an ambulance. KA is interviewing that she's heard of people busting implants and it makes her scared (as she laughs and holds her own implants). DUMB!

Champions: First up is Bananas, then Derrick, then Kenny, then Susie. Ibis goes and totally bangs into the fence and falls. She goes to the back of the line. Next up Veronica, then Darrell, then Wes, then Johanna, then Tonya, then Evan, then Ev, then Ibis again. 12/12.

Champions win. They get $20k to divide and a mobile webcam. Now they get to pick who goes in the Ruins.

Deliberation. Wes wants to go against Nick. Done. Now for the good part. Ev wants to go in against Casey. NOPE. They pick Ev and KA. Wes and Ev feel blindsided. Awesome. Wes is in Bananas face. Ev is PISSED and keeps bumping up against Bananas so he pushes her away. Then Wes yells that Bananas just pushed a girl! Seriously? If Bananas gets sent home for that...I don't even know. TJ comes in and they are still fighting so he makes the 6 of them vote right there. Obviously, it's Ev and KA. Ev and Wes decide that they are going to throw every challenge from here on out.

Wes runs in and yells at the Champions. He says "You just lost this challenge for yourselves because you have the 2 STRONGEST players really f****** PISSED." He's like a huge APE running around screaming. Ev is kicking shit. Kenny looks straight in the camera and flexes like an ape. Johanna: "Wes looks like a psychopath. And Evelyn kicking shit? Come on. Grow up."

Wes and Ev are sitting on the stairs and KA walks over to them. Wes tells KA and she laughs. Ev is having a freaking nervous breakdown. She's literally SOBBING. KA tries to pretend (in her interview) that she's outraged. I'm sensing she's a little embarassed. My guess is that KA is glad to be leaving and wants to start disassociating herself from Wes and Ev ASAP. I know I would. Wes busts into the Champions room and starts pointing at everyone. Ev is still hitting and kicking shit. Wes starts screaming at Bananas and interviews "the fact that I am more mad at Johnny than I am at Kenny just shows what a lowlife he is"... OR, it shows how desperately you need a psychiatrist, Wes. I'm guess it's the latter. Wes just keeps saying how much he wants to beat the crap out of Bananas. Seriously?? It's a GAME, people. AND, it's $120K DIVIDED BY THE GROUP. Even if it was $120K total for one person...STILL NOT WORTH IT. These people need jobs so they don't take this so seriously. Jeez.

Wes, Ev, and KA are all strategizing. Ev is thinking about throwing the Ruins. Now Ev thinks that the Champions are terrified of her. What is up with these people?? No one is scared of you guys. You're all suffering from delusions of grandeur.

Shauvon is back. Kenny is begging to see her boobs. Of course he is. So, Shauvon went to the emergency room and got a CT scan. She has major tissue, nerve and muscle damage. "From the top of my chest to my waist!" She's leaving. She has to be on bed rest. She goes around to everyone on the house retelling her emergency room story. It's actually kind of comical. Kim sums it up in her interview "Shauvon has this elaborate story. Just say you're going home and you have a bruise on your boob. Sorry. See you later." The Challengers are happy to see her go. She's was dead weight on that team.

Evan is seeing the error of the Champions ways. He sees that their plan was short-sided. The Champions thought that they could get rid of KA and it would show Wes that they were serious and he'd come back and play hard for them. No one expected Ev to join Wes and start throwing challenges.

Bananas is trying to pump up Nick and encourage him to beat Wes. Ev is wondering if she has it in her to lose the ruins.

RUINS
"Shadow Fighter" - Each player is going to have their wrists and ankles attached to their opponent by ropes. Each player will start at the front of their platform. The goal is to pull their opponent OFF their platform. Need to do it 3 times to win.

And, it's raining so the platform is slippery.

Wes v. Nick - Wes wins the first one. Wes wins the second one. Wes wins the third one. Wes is the winner. Nick goes home.

It stopped raining.

Ev v. KA - KA wins the first one. Ev wins the second one. Ev wins the third one. KA wins the fourth one. KA wins the fifth one. Ev goes home.

So, KA gets to stay AND she takes Ev's money. TJ is disappointed that Ev is a quitter. wow. She's super delusional because she believes KA would do the same for her. No way. KA looks out for number one. She's not that selfless.

Johanna and Wes are talking ... AGAIN. She's trying to find out if he's going to play to win or if he's going to keep throwing challenges. Then, she tells Wes "Let me make this easy for you. If you throw this whole challenge, I will sell the house and keep all the money because it's only in my name. So..." Interesting. So they bought a house "together" but it's in Johanna's name. HA! She says "You want to f*** me out of $30K, I will f*** you out of $300K". Oh dang! She leaves him with "I learned from the Master" and points to Wes and says "you sleep on that tonight." He interviews that she's a horrible person for threatening him that way. But, it looks like she's got him by the balls. Now he has to rethink his strategy.

Til next time.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 1

Right off the bat, we get up to speed.

Dunbar and Kim tried to give it a go after he went home and broke up with his girlfriend. It didn't work - no chemistry. Doesn't mean that they won't be hooking up again this season, tho.

Ok, now for the confusion. Danny catches us up: Wes and Johanna were engaged and broke up. They are BOTH on this challenge, as are Cohutta, KellyAnne and Kenny. Why do we care? Well, we might not...BUT, Wes is now dating KellyAnne (who used to date Cohutta) and Kenny hooked up with Johanna on the last challenge. Interesting. Bottom line, I hope Cohutta has moved on because he is way better than this crew.

And, it sounds like he has. He likes Wes and thinks he's better suited for KellyAnne than he ever was. "She eats tree bark and I eat fried chicken. It's pretty much a closed case for me." 'Nuf said.

Out comes TJ and the crowd cheers. He welcomes everyone to Phuket, Thailand and reminds everyone that he's a BMX rider (so we don't think all he does is host these things...but we do anyway). The teams have been divided into the CHAMPIONS and the CHALLENGERS. There are 7 girls/7 guys on each team. If you want to know who is on which team, I've updated my "Meet the Players" post and indicated what team each person is on. I'll also let you know throughout this post.

The rules: Each of the nine challenges is worth $20K. If your team wins, the money is divided evenly between the remaining players and put into their individual bank accounts. At the end, the prize is $120K and it will be divided among the winning team members. One way to get more money for yourself is to challenge someone into the Ruins who has a big bank account. If you win, you get their money and send them home broke! Before each challenge, 3 guy/3 girls are going to be nominated to be eligible to go into the ruins. The 6 people from the winning team - at the end of the challenge - get to select which guy and which girl from each team are going to battle it out in the Ruins. SWEET. OK, seriously, who the hell is Ibis?? She's a Champion? WTF? How come I have no recollection of her?

The house. 4 stories of awesomeness. The rooms are pre-assigned. Challenger girls in one room, Challenger boys in one room, and ALL the Champions in one room. Nice. (Apparently, Ibis is from Road Rules X-Treme. Never saw it. )

Holy Crap. Katie is ENGAGED. I'm DYING to know who is marrying her. She seems calmer so maybe engagement has tamed her wild ways. Only time will tell.

Wes is intimidated by Kenny, Evan and Bananas. They're really good friends outside of the challenges which doesn't bode well for Wes.

Pool time. This oughtta be good. :) Derrick has a newborn at home but he's back because he loves the challenges (hmmm. He better bring home some bacon or else...). Casey is already whining that she wishes they could all just stay in the house all day and not have to compete - WHY IS SHE THERE? Oh dear...drunk Tonya says she can't get in the water because she doesn't have a swimsuit on (while caressing her boobs). Solution: Get naked and swim drunk. HOLY DRUNK-MESS. Tonya falls as she's walking down the stairs in the house. KATIE, is trying to control her (because Katie is now the voice of reason. Amazing what a ring will do). Susie sums it up "Let's face it. Tonya's the mayor of Crazytown." I LOVE IT. I'm going to start referring to Tonya as the Mayor. Ev and Derrick put her to bed and Ev holds a container while the Mayor throws up in it. Ev is a GOOD friend.

Wes goes outside to talk to Johanna. It appears that they are on friendly terms. Awkward. Johanna says that she doesn't want to fight with Wes and she doesn't want Wes fighting with Evan and Kenny because of things she did on the island (i.e. have sex repeatedly with Kenny). Wes admits that he was hurt and then calls Evan outside. The plot thickens. Apparently, Wes told everyone that he wasn't coming to the challenge, particularly his "friend" Evan. So Evan is pissed that Wes lied and made Evan look like the asshole. Evan calls Wes out and of course, Wes interprets this as fear. He claims that everyone is "scared to death" of him because he's "stronger and smarter" than everyone there. First of all, considering the group, it's not harder to be the smartest and second, that's so not true. He might be the strongest, but he's not the smartest by a long shot. Look up "meathead" in the dictionary and there are pictures of most of the guys in these challenges INCLUDING Wes.

Wes wants to talk to Kenny, but as soon as he looks at him, he sees the person who ruined any chance of a friendship with Johanna. Apparently, the fact that Johanna risked her friendship with Wes for a random hook-up with "someone like Kenny" was "extremely hurtful." Why? Because Kenny and Wes are different kinds of "meathead"? So Kenny tells Wes that they just need to get past the bullshit because they're both there to compete. Wes's response: "That is the ugliest hat I've ever seen. What the F*ck is that thing?" WTF? Kenny responds: "And you have your mother's shirt on." I will never understand males. Wes is pissed that Kenny didn't apologize and admit he made a mistake. What? Kenny banged your EX-girlfriend and you're back with a NEW girlfriend. MOVE ON, Wes.

KellyAnne ("KA") strokes Wes's ego by telling him that everyone is scared of him which is a complement but it's going to make this hard. Dumb. Then she says that if they can make it through this with both of their serious exes "we're golden". WAIT. "Serious"? Ok, maybe Johanna because she and Wes were engaged at one point. But, Cohutta? Really, KA? Hardly. And if you were serious, he seems to have moved on. Wes is pissed that he has to sleep in a room with the rest of the Champions and not in a solo room with KA. Dude, it's not vacation. Well, Wes decides he can't sleep with those people because he can't stand them, so he creates his own little "apartment" (it appears to be another living room) and sleeps on a couch...which will further isolate him from his team. Stupid.

Next day (?). Champions decide to have a team meeting to decide how they will pick the 3 girls/3 boys who will decide who goes into the Ruins. Evan is leading the meeting. Wes interviews that the fairest way is to pull a name out of a hat. Everyone disagrees.

Sarah and Shauvon are asking Diem who should go into the Ruins. Diem urges them to throw themselves in. Heh. KA is listening in. Sarah drinks the Kool Aid and decides to nominate herself.

Wes is strategizing with KA. He tells her the Champions don't want to pull names out of a hat, so he thinks they'll come after him. If that happens, he'll throw the mission, so it's in the Challenger's hands who goes in the Ruins and they won't pick Wes. Nice...although KA looks totally lost and confused (surprise surprise). Wes: "Once my team relinquishes the power to me, I'll help them win the challenges." Wow. The ego.

Nightfall. Drinking games!! The Champions (minus Wes) are playing a drinking game. The mayor is back in Walla Walla, WA and separated from her "Significant Other". She was married, right? To a guy? Why doesn't she just say husband? Weird. She's gone through some things this past year that have made her "slightly unstable". This past year? Whatever, Tonya. You've been unstable since we met you in 2002 on Real World Chicago. She's hoping she can keep it together. My money's on NOT.

Everyone is drunk and Darrell, Veronica and Ev are saying "Walla Walla Walla" and laughing hysterically. The mayor is NOT smiling. She's taking it very personally. DRAMA! The mayor interviews (later and sober!) that it's extremely "hurtful" to have someone that you're so close to making fun of you. WHAT? Ev is drunk and making fun of the name "Walla Walla". It's actually kind of funny. She says "Walla Walla Wombat" and they all lose it. The mayor walks out and she gets in Ev's face screaming "I don't want to talk to you" "You're a f-ing piece of shit. I thought you were more than that." Ev was trying to get her to calm down but gives up and walks in the house. The mayor pushes Ev in the house, yelling "MOVE. NOW!!" and slams the door behind Ev. Wow. Tonya needs some serious therapy. Rage issues.

Now the mayor is crying to Adam and Syrus that Ev went "below the belt." WTF? Syrus tells her that she needs to grow some thicker skin overnight. Adam is trying to talk her down and give her sane advice. Nice try, Adam. Syrus just interviews that Tonya is always going to be seen, heard and under some kind of influence (heh!)...not the ideal person to have at the end. The mayor seems to think that once the game starts it'll be a distraction. And if you give her a distraction, she'll avoid the booze. RIGHT! Hello??? These challenges are all about the booze. The game is only going on during the day!

Wes tells Ev, Brad and Danny his plan. If they don't pick names out of a hat, he will throw challenges. Ev reports back to Veronica, the mayor, Derrick, Kenny and Evan. Kenny correctly points out that they can win the challenges without Wes. The Challengers have a team meeting led by Brad and he lets everyone know Wes's plan.

THE CHALLENGE. Champions in RED and Challengers in BLUE.

First, the teams pick their 3 girls/3 guys. Oh good LORD. Two of the guys volunteer on the Champions and they ask Wes to volunteer. He says no and tells them to draw a name. If they don't draw a name, he'll throw the challenge. Derrick tells Wes to just man up, do a good job and show the team that he deserves to be here. Wes whines again that he'll throw the challenge. He think they're all scared shitless. Wow. Seriously? They DON'T LIKE YOU, WES. Not because they're scared...because you're a total D-BAG!

Champions: Tonya, Johanna, Susie, Darrell, Kenny, and "self-proclaimed Superstar" Wes. heh.
Challengers: Sarah, Shauvon, Diem, Chet, Cohutta and Nick.

CHAIN GANG. There's a rope going up from the water to a platform suspended in the air. There are two gongs on the platform. The goal is to climb up the rope, get on the platform and hit the gong. To complicate matters, the teammates will all be on the rope, so the bottom person must go up the rope, climbing over their teammates and get on the platform to the gong. The gong will signal the next person to go. If you release yourself from the rope before it's your turn, everyone below you will be disqualified. Only one person can climb at a time. The team with the most people at the top will win. If there's a tie, the shortest time wins.

Challengers. Casey is first but there's a huge gap from Dunbar to the platform and she falls. Next up Cohutta and he makes it. KA makes it. Chet makes it. Brianna makes it. Adam makes it. Kim makes it. Nick makes it. Diem makes it. Brad makes it. Sarah makes it. Danny makes it. Shauvon is up next and she only has to make it past Dunbar. She wasn't having any luck, so Dunbar just drops her. (Chet interviews that Dunbar did what he had to...he can't just lift Shauvon. "We need all 6 of our dudes to do that." HA!) Dunbar makes it. OK, 12/14 for the Challengers.

Champions. They decide to put Wes at the bottom and Ibis just above him. So they will have Ibis unhook before Wes so that she and Wes will be disqualified. That means that everyone else will need to make it. Wes thinks it will be easy to throw it by shaking the rope and pushing everyone off. Hmmm. Let's see who has the better strategy. Wes starts shaking the rope from the bottom. Ibis unhooks and they both go down. Wes didn't see that coming. Nick makes it. The mayor makes it. Derrick makes it. Susie makes it. Bananas makes it. Veronica makes it. Kenny makes it. Johanna makes it. Ev makes it. Evan makes it. Now, it's Katie...and she's terrified. Hasn't she been on a million of these? WTF? The guys on the platform pull her up and she makes it. Syrus makes it. 12/14. Tie game.

The winner is: CHAMPIONS. They win $20K to be divided into their individual bank accounts. AND, a DJ mixer for their iPods.

Back at the house, Darrell starts talking a lot of crap about KA. He says "Let's be honest. Everybody in the household f***** KellyAnne." WHAT? Ok, I think Darrell is trying to get Wes to hit him so he gets sent home. Yikes. So KA gets in Darrell's face about her F-ing everyone. Wes is onto Darrell's strategy. Darrell challenges Wes and tells him to go outside with him. Wes's ego won't let him just walk away so he decides to go out front and fight Darrell. Evan: "Everyone's having fun at the dance, til someone takes a big turd in the punchbowl." LOVE IT. Now Wes is pissed. He's trying to go outside and he's yelling "Darrell wants to fight me. Let's go!" Johanna interviews that Wes is going mental because Darrell said "You're not going to turn a ho into a housewife". Oh Dang! KA is stupid because she's encouraging the fight. Johanna goes up to Wes and tries to talk him down reminding him about what he wanted to work on while he was at the challenge. (I'm assuming it's not fighting). KA looks on pathetically as Johanna diffuses the situation. Darrell goes in the back yard and Wes goes in the house.

Next day. Who's going into the Ruins? The mayor nominates herself and wants to compete against Diem. Wes volunteers but the rest of his teammates want to make it clear that he'd be going in even if he didn't volunteer. Then Wes says that he promised KA he wouldn't pick Cohutta...because it would be shitty of him since he stole his girlfriend...WHAT?? Were Cohutta and KA even together? EVER? EGO! Wes picks Chet because he thinks he can beat him. Johanna thinks they should pick Nick. The rest of the team picks Chet.

OMG. The mayor seriously looks like a TRAINWRECK! She's drunk, AGAIN. Her hair is WILD. Evan says she's an easy target because she doesn't know where she is, who she is or what's going on at any given moment. Kenny comes in and tells her Shauvon is talking shit and the mayor starts whacking at Kenny and then walks out. She runs into Chet on the stairs and he talks to her. She's drunk so she probably won't remember, but he seems to genuinely want to see her succeed.

RUINS DAY.

Wes is getting ready. KA interviews that she wants Wes to win because she wants him with her. On the other hand, if he leaves, she might have more friends. Heh. Chet has decided to be the "bowtie killer" and he's now wearing a purple bowtie. I hope it works. The Challengers are all wearing purple to support Chet.

The Game: Chutes and Ladders. Each person must build a ladder with bamboo sticks. Once complete, they climb it and ring the gong. First person to ring the gong wins.

First up: Wes/Chet. Complicating matters is that they both have harnesses so that they don't get hurt if they fall off the ladders. Annoying. They're pretty much neck and neck putting on the rungs of the ladder. Wes wins. BOO!

Next up: Diem/The Mayor. The Mayor wins.

Peace out Diem and Chet.

This season on The Ruins: Shauvon pops one of her implants, Tonya slaps someone (Veronica!) across the face, and someone gets knocked out cold (it looks like Brad, Danny or Derrick). WOOT!
