Amazing Race 15 - Episode 8

Previously on the Amazing Race: Poker Chicks quit the race, Team USA was annoying and the Farmers are still my faves...followed closely by the Globes. Five teams remain...

Rainbow is the first team to depart ZoutKamp Harbour in The Netherlands at 9:33 p.m. and receive their first clue.

FIRST CLUE: Teams will now fly to Stockholm, Sweden. Once they land, they must travel by train and ferry to the Tivoli Grona Lund Amusement Park and find the Fritt Fall ride where they'll get their next clue.

Hmmm. It's 9:33 P.M. - I'm thinking this may be another bunching scenario at the airport.

Rainbow take off towards the airport and they crack me up. They are bickering and Sam's laughing at Dan's frustration. They're brothers...it happens. So cute.

Blondes depart next, 15 minutes after Rainbow. They've been together for over 4 years and Cheyne tells us that marriage is definitely in their future. Globes are third to depart and while Flight Time reads the clue, Big Easy is counting the money. It's Flight Time's birthday, so Globes would like "first place" today. Flight Time asks Big Easy if he wants to stop at the Red Light District on the way to the airport. HA! Farmers are 4th to leave and Gary says that he's motivated to do well because he's the oldest guy left. Matt says that his dad doesn't seem old because Matt's always trying to keep up with him. CUTE.

Rainbow arrives at Schipol Airport and look for tix to Sweden. The Blondes arrive next and discover that there are two flights to Sweden in the morning: 6:55 A.M. and 9:25 A.M. The Blondes run into Rainbow and tell them about the flights. They all decide that they need to get on that 6:55 flight. They camp out at the KLM ticket booth until it opens at 5:30 A.M.

Team USA finally departs at 1:38 A.M. from the Pit Stop. They are now driving the route that they WALKED in CLOGS the day before. But they think they looked good in their costumes, mmmkay. Hmmm.

Next morning at 5:30 A.M., Rainbow, Blondes and Globes get tix on the 6:55 A.M. flight to Stockholm. The Farmers walk up to the desk and they are told the flight is fully booked. NO!!!!!! Team USA is told the same thing. So, Team USA and Farmers are on the 9:25 A.M. flight. C'mon Farmers!!

The first flight arrives in Stockholm and it's a mad dash to the train into Stockholm City. The Blondes and Rainbow buy their tickets upstairs and race onto the train. Globes decide to get to the train first and then buy their tickets. The doors close before Globes can print their tix and they have to wait for the next train.

The second flight arrives in Stockholm. Globes get on the next train to Stockholm City. Rainbow and Blondes make it to the ferry and then to the amusement park and find the next clue.

ROADBLOCK: One person from each team must now ride the Fritt Fall. OMG!! This would be my favorite challenge next to the waterslide one!!! SO FUN! While riding they need to spot the arrow on top of a building pointing to their next clue box. The arrow is only visible for 15 seconds before the ride plunges 24 stories to the bottom. LOVE IT!

Sam and Cheyne are going on the ride. Sam spots the arrow.

Blondes and Rainbow are running through the park and find the next clue.

NEXT CLUE: Teams will now play a game of Roaming Gnome Ring Toss. Once a team has successfully thrown a ring on the giant hat, they will be given the Gnome under the hat with their next clue. They will need to keep the Travelocity Gnome with them until they reach the next pit stop.

Blondes and Rainbow easily master the ring toss and receive their Gnomes.

GNOME DETOUR: Sweden's history is well known for 1) Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite and 2) the Vikings. Teams must now pick between Nobel Dynamite and Viking Alphabet. In Dynamite, teams must fill sandbags and build a protective barrier in a rock quarry. Once protected, they'll set off an enormous explosion which will unearth a box containing their next clue. In Viking, teams must decode a message using the ancient Viking alphabet. Once they solve the message, they will locate the viking and receive their next clue.

Blondes and Rainbow decide to do Dynamite and head out.

Globes have made it across the ferry to the amusement park and found the clue. Flight Time will be going on the Fritt Fall because you can't be more than 6'4" to ride and Big Easy is too tall. Wah wah. Big Easy: "They should just put in the clue, 'Big Easy, you can't ride the Fritt Fall.'" HAHA! Flight Time finds the arrow and he's so excited!! They find the next clue and Flight Time is having trouble with the ring toss. Big Easy takes over and easily gets a gnome. Big Easy takes the gnome and says he's on "gnome duty". heh. They pick Dynamite and head out.

DAMMIT! Team USA made it on the next train and Farmers did not!! Farmers have to wait.

Blondes and Rainbow found some sucker to show them the way to Dynamite. Globes are in the car thinking of names for their Gnome. Flight Time says "Sweet Pea" and Big Easy says "that's lame". I kind of agree. Then Big Easy says "Louisiana Shorty" and Flight Time tells him "that's ghetto". HAHA. These guys crack me up. I think they finally decide on "Harlem Gnome".

Farmers are 15 minutes behind Team USA and make it on the next train. Team USA find the Fritt Fall ride and - since Brian is afraid of heights - Miss America will go on the ride. She finds the arrow and they head to the Gnome Toss. She also gets the ring on a hat and they get their gnome. Farmers make it to park and Matt easily spots the arrow as he goes up the Fritt Fall. They get their Gnome and head to Dynamite.

The Blondes, Rainbow and Globes are all at Dynamite. They have to wear protective helmets, goggles, ear phones and rubber boots. They are all filling sandbags and all I can hear is Meghan whining that Cheyne is not helping her. Rainbow finishes first and blows up their quarry. They run out to get their clue.

NEXT CLUE: Teams will now drive themselves to Bogs Gard Farm where teams will search for their next clue. OH NO!! The needle in a haystack roadblock!!!!

Rainbow heads out. Globes blow up next, get the clue and head out. The Blondes FINALLY finish and blow up their quarry. They get the clue and head out. As they drive away, Meghan tells Cheyne that they had awful teamwork and that she asked him about a thousand times to help her (I can vouch for that...I definitely heard her whiny voice about a thousand times). Cheyne tells her to move on because the task is OVER. She's frustrated and doesn't want to let it go. She tells him he didn't listen to her at all. I hear her, but it's over, move on. Seriously, the haystack roadblock is a freakin' nightmare. Save your frustration for that.

Team USA makes it to Dynamite.

Rainbow and Blondes make it to Bogs Gard Farm and find the clue box.

ROADBLOCK/PITSTOP: Teams must pick one teammate to unroll haystacks until they find a clue hidden in only 7 of the 180 haystacks.

Sam is doing it for Rainbow. Dan is yelling at Sam to unroll the haystack and tells him that they did it before in another season and one team did it for 8 hours. It was 10 hours actually. UGH. Blondes show up and Dan yells to Sam that the Blondes are there. Sam tells Dan to SHUT UP! Heh. Meghan asks Cheyne who he wants to do the roadblock and ... *crickets*. He tells US that he thinks Meghan should do it since she's taking the lead in this leg of the race. I actually think he doesn't want to hear her whining at him, so he'd rather her do it. She's still clearly irritated by him and says she'll just do it since he obviously doesn't want to do it. Ha! Dan is still yelling out "helpful hints" to Sam, so Sam looks at him and tells him "I need you to stop talking for 10 minutes" which totally shuts Dan up...temporarily. Heh. The Blondes are the opposite and Meghan tells Cheyne to keep talking to her. Globes show up and Big Easy does it. Dan is NOT listening and keeps screaming at Sam. ANNOYING.

Farmers get to Dynamite just as Team USA are finishing their wall. They blow up their quarry and head to Bogs Gard Farm. C'mon Farmers!! Farmers finish and head out.

Dan is still yelling at Sam from the sidelines. It's hillarious. Now I want to tell him to shut up. Sam flips him off and tells him to SHUT UP again. Seriously, Dan, stop talking. All the teams are struggling. It looks like a horrible roadblock. Big Easy says that they didn't have no hay in the projects. Heh! Team USA arrive at the roadblock followed by Farmers (it's hard to tell how far behind Team USA the Farmers were).

BIG EASY FINDS A FLAG!!!!! WOO HOO!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLIGHT TIME!! Flight Time is yelling that it's his birthday as Globes run to the Pit Stop. SO CUTE!!

Globes are Team #1 to the Pit Stop. They win a trip for two to the Turkes & Caicos. Woot! There's a band of three country people playing on the way to the pit stop and Globes are totally skipping and dancing with their gnome. LOVE IT!

Now it's time for my Farmers to step up!! C'mon guys. WOOT!! Brian goes for Team USA and the Farmers are right behind them. The Dad decides to do it. They are all struggling. Meghan is crying and losing it fast. Sam keeps yelling at Dan to SHUT UP. Brian finally tells Dan that it's harder than it looks. I think that did it because Dan decides to just keep quiet. FINALLY. Thank you, Brian.

Meghan finally finds it and she decides to surprise Cheyne. She runs over to him and says she can't do it anymore. She says "come on, let's go" and hands him the flag!!!

Blondes are Team #2.

Brian finds the flag for Team USA!

Team USA is Team #3.

Crap. Sam finds a flag.

Rainbow is Team #4. Dan totally has a breakdown. He feels horrible that he was being such a jerk and yelling at his brother. He's crying and hugs Sam.

After 2:45 minutes, Gary finds a flag!! He refused to quit the race and found the damn flag!

Farmers are the last team to the Pit Stop. YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!! It's a NON ELIMINATION ROUND!!! WOO HOO!! The Farmers are still in it. I feel like crying. I love this team!!!

See you next week!

Real Housewives OC, Season 5, Episode 1

Last Season:

Vicki - Her "love tank" was empty and Donn wasn't doing it for her anymore. She totally humiliated him by calling him Mr. Vicki Gulvanson in front of friends.

Jeanna - She was a little lonely and had just started dating at the end of the season.

Lynn - She was the "airhead" who joined the case last season. She's SUPER laid back and "friends" with her kids. She also has a jewelry line.

Gretchen - Her sugar-daddy fiance, Jeff, passed away at the end of the season after a long battle with cancer. She bounced back and went wild.

Tamra - She's kind of the "mean girl" of the group. She got Gretchen "naked drunk" at her dinner party and then pawned her off on her over-excited son. At the reunion show, she accused Gretchen of cheating on her ailing fiance.

Now we're back!! Let's see what the ladies are up to this season.

VICKI

Vicki's kids are taking her SKY DIVING!!! Awesome. I would LOVE to do this with my mom. I just went for the first time over the summer and I think everyone should try it at least once. SO FUN!! Vicki tells us that she and her kids are doing great. They are finished with school and doing well for themselves and she's very proud. She should be. They are great kids. Michael can be a little too Frat Boy for me, but they're both good kids. Vicki is totally freaking out. She's such a drama queen. She's terrified. But, she did it. Awesome.

JEANNA

Jeanna is really suffering from the recession. The real estate market is BAD. Her income is WAY down and she's hurting for money. I guess she doesn't have any savings. She's talking to Colton and he's reprimanding her about her spending habits. She's selling her house for $5.5 million, but she's not sure it will sell.

TAMRA

Tamra is having a red carpet party for her daughter, Sydney's theater class. She's got a red carpet laid out and the other parents are paparazzi and people are screaming for them. Tamra's friend, Ricki, is there and they are joking around and they both mention "T-bagging" which is an "adult" word. Simon gets upset and tells them that they are being inappropriate. He has a point. Not ok for a kid's party. Simon continues to be a wet blanket the entire party. Wow...serious tension between Simon and Tamra. She hugs him and tells him to relax and he tells her not to tell him to relax. Everything she does irritates him. Not a good sign.

GRETCHEN

Gretchen is now dating Slade Smiley. You may remember him as Jo's ex-fiance from Season 1 and the guy who was banging ... er, I mean, dating Laurie in Season 2. Who names their kid "Slade". His name just sounds slimy. Gretchen says that she and Slade have been friends for 8 years. Then, one day, they asked themselves why they weren't dating, so they decided to date. Gretchen believes that Jeff - her late fiance - brought her Slade. Is she serious?? It's really hard to understand the "love" Gretchen had for Jeff. He was SO much older than she is and he got sick almost immediately after they started to date. I believe that she brought him joy at a time when he really needed it. She's fun, beautiful, young, outgoing. It probably made him happy to shower her with expensive gifts. But, I think she cared for him like a dad. I find it hard to believe that they were "intimate" that much since he got sick right away. I do believed she cared for him and loved him as a close friend or father figure. I just cannot believe she loved him like a real fiance. It's easy to profess your eternal love for someone who showers you with $$ and diamonds AND who you know is terminally ill. Hello?? Anna Nicole Smith?? I digress.

Slade and Gretchen are cleaning out the closet at Jeff's place. She has a crapload of stuff all in the garage and his kids probably told her to get rid of it! Slade calls it all junk and suggests they leave the garage door open and leave for a few hours. Heh. Gretchen interviews that she knows people will have an opinion about her dating so soon after Jeff's death, but she met Slade and they just fell in love. Um...I thought you "met" him 8 years ago, Gretchen. Details. She's hoping that this thing with Slade will last forever. Well, if she watched Season 1, she would know that Slade is looking for a step mother for his kids and he wants his wife AT HOME, cooking, cleaning and child rearing. If Gretchen is willing to do all of that AND look hot for Slade, I think it'll last.

LYNNE

Lynne's jewelry business is taking off. She's so busy that she had to hire a sales rep to help her out. Lynne was really affected by Vicki's comment last season that Lynne didn't really work. So Lynne has stepped it up a notch. She used to have her stuff at local boutiques, but now she's got her stuff at "Fred Segals" (it's actually Fred Segal, no "s". You should probably know the name since they are carrying your merchandise. Just sayin') and she's talking to Bloomingdales and other big department stores who have expressed interest. Lynne tells us that Frank, her husband, has had 2 of the roughest years in his construction business. I'm guessing that the Curtain family is living off of Lynne's "cuffs" and other jewelry. Whatever the reason for her stepping it up, good for her.

I still think Lynne has a few screws loose. She looks sort of "vacant" sometimes and her voice is monotone and she talks sort of slow. BUT, good for her for working hard and making her business work in this economy. (Tangent - I really hate "in this economy". My old boss used to use that as her excuse for cutting EVERYTHING. No more free lunch at mandatory meetings "in this economy". No more chocolate "in this economy". Must work weekends "in this economy". Bill more and I will pay less "in this economy". I can make your life a living hell "in this economy". So, I did the only logical thing...I quit "in this economy" and I'm SO much happier. Rant over.)

VICKI

Donn is cleaning the backyard and asks Vicki for some help. Vicki comes out in a satin, strapless dress and says she's got a nail appointment. Who gets their nails done in a satin strapless dress?? Donn says that last year Vicki was hard on him - which I can agree with. However, Vicki also has a point that Donn wasn't very affectionate with her, either. It's a vicious cycle. Who started it? It's a chicken/egg thing. They look like they are coming out of it. Vicki's tells Donn that they are doing better than last year when her "love tank" was empty. (She's actually scrubbing and cleaning with that damn dress on.) Donn: "I'm so tired of your damn tank." LOL. I love Donn. Vicki asks him if she can be done cleaning so she can get her nails done. To her credit, it did look like she actually did some cleaning. She seems a little more mellow this season. They interview that they took stock of their relationship and decided to make more of an effort. Vicki says that she wants Donn to be her husband for forever, so she's making an effort to be a better wife. :)

TAMRA & VICKI

New BFFs from last season, Tamra and Vicki, are having lunch at Picante's and they are still besties. They don't get to see each other that much, though, because Vicki is a workaholic and Tamra is busy...staying home. Vicki walks in with a 6 carat diamond ring. It's not one huge diamond. It's more like a wide band with diamonds all over it. According to Vicki, Donn got it for her. I guess this season, she's allowing him to take credit for things he buys her with her money. Community property, baby!! Vicki says that she and Donn are doing better and that marriage is a roller coaster and she's just riding the ups and downs. Tamra interviews that not having the money they used to have has created a lot of tension for her and Simon. No kidding. Tamra tells Vicki that she and Simon are having some issues. Vicki interviews that Simon is very controlling and that Tamra can't do anything without Simon knowing about it. Vicki asks Tamra if she's working at all and Tamra tells her the real estate market is just SO BAD. Then they wonder how Jeanna is doing. Vicki tells us she hasn't spoken to Jeanna in 6 weeks. Apparently 2 months ago, Jeanna asked Vicki if she could borrow some money and Vicki said no. Ouch. Maybe they just weren't very good friends. I feel like if one of my closest friends asked to borrow money and I had money to lend, I would do it in a heartbeat. I would know how hard it was to even ask! Vicki clearly has enough cash...the insurance business doesn't seem to be suffering at all from the recession. However, I also understand Vicki's perspective. Mixing friends and money is not always a good idea. PLUS, Vicki had that whole house snafu with Jeanna a couple of seasons ago.

The conversation turns to Gretchen. Both ladies say that they haven't spoken with her because they have nothing in common with her. Then Tamra asks Vicki if she saw all the naked pictures of Gretchen on the internet that came out over the summer. WHAT? Tamra says that there is a picture of Gretchen with a vibrator on a bed with a cord. Then, the best line ever "Holy Mother of Gynecology, who has a vibrator with a cord?" Yes, Tamra, because that's the disturbing part of the photo. Not that Gretchen is naked on the bed with a vibrator, but that the vibrator has a cord. Nice. Now they are talking about Gretchen dating Slade. Tamra calls Slade an opportunist - I mean, he HAS "bagged three housewives." They wonder who will be next on Slade's list and they both say it will never be them. Never say never...

LYNNE & TAMRA

Lynne and Tamra are at the Renaissance Club Sport to work out. Tamra tells us that she didn't really know Lynne at all last season but over the last 6 months, she's gotten to know her. She says that Lynne is quirky, funny and a little absentminded. Heh. Lynne says that she and Tamra have A LOT in common, you know, because they both like to work out and they are both moms. Huh? Anyhow, they've developed a friendship and work out together. Lynne and Tamra are with a trainer and they are using some machine-thingy. The whole time Tamra is whining that it's too hard and she's over it. Um, maybe you have a little less in common than you thought, Lynne.

They finish their workout and go outside to share some smoothies. Lynne tells Tamra that she has an appointment with a plastic surgeon because she doesn't like the non-existent jiggly thing under her neck. Can you say Anorexia Nervosa?? Seriously, I just learned about this. The excessive working out + the distorted body image = Anorexia Nervosa!! I don't exactly think Lynne is a pretty woman, but she's in great shape and looks great for her age. Considering she's the only one bringing home the bacon these days, I'm not sure she should be spending money on surgery she doesn't need. Lynne makes Tamra swear not to tell anyone...Um, Lynne, you're on TV. I'm pretty sure everyone is going to find out. The cameras aren't just for show...they work and they are rolling.

Lynne tells Tamra that she's inviting all the housewives to the St. Regis to do a trunk show and show off her bikinis, cuffs, belts, etc. Tamra says she'll go and that she doesn't have any issues with the housewives. Oh wait! Except Gretchen? Hello? Tamra interviews that she didn't have a problem with Gretchen. She believes Gretchen cheated on Jeff while he was ill, but if that's what Gretchen wanted to do it's her business not Tamra's. Tamra says that if Gretchen doesn't want Tamra involved in her life, then Gretchen shouldn't involve her. She's got a point. The only reason Tamra is a part of it is because Gretchen's other boyfriend CALLED Tamra!!

GRETCHEN

Gretchen is still living in Jeff's house. Maybe he gave it to her in his will. She tells us that after Jeff died, she was in a really dark place. It was her "Britney Spears shaved her head" moment. She was hanging with the wrong people...who apparently took really embarrassing and private pictures of her and posted them on the internet. [OK, I'm not a dog person, but do people really have car seats for their dogs?!?!?! She has two in the back seat! Am I crazy to think that is the most ridiculous waste of money?] Ok, now Gretchen is saying that when you lose the person you love, that you thought you would be with forever and have kids with, you kind of feel lost. I understand the sentiment, however, I fail to see how it applies to her. She and Jeff got engaged after he got sick and, as I understand it, he got sick only a couple of months after they got together. Plus, he was like 30 years older than she was. She could not have thought they were going to be together forever and have kids. Whatever. She just wants to make excuses for her going wild. I don't know why I'm so hard on her, I just think she's shady...with the cheating and the naked pictures. It's hard to feel sorry for her. I know it's hard to lose someone you care about and I'm sure she cared about Jeff, but I just don't buy that he was the love of her life. I might be wrong...but I doubt it.

Gretchen is now sitting on the beach with her dogs and crying about Jeff. She tells us that she has half of his ashes and his kids share the other half. She has them in an urn on a shelf that she's made into a mini-shrine to Jeff with pictures of the two of them. She's crying that she misses him and that he's the one person who she believed really loved her. I believe her. It's all very sad, but I think some of it is a little drama for the cameras. Sorry, I'm Team Tamra.

GRETCHEN & LYNNE

Gretchen and Lynne are meeting at some fancy pants place in the OC. Lynne tells Gretchen about her dinner party at the St. Regis and invites her. She tells her that Jeanna is coming, but she's not sure if Tamra is coming. LIAR! Tamra totally said she would be there. Gretchen asks Lynne if she's inviting Tamra to everything now and if Lynne and Tamra totally made up. Um, are these "ladies" in high school? Jeez. Lynne avoids the question and tells Gretchen that she and Tamra just go to the same gym. Lynne: "Let's just give her one more chance. Everybody deserves another chance." Gretchen is "frustrated" that Lynne is ok with Tamra. Then, Gretchen rehashes the drama of last season's reunion show where Tamra accused Gretchen of cheating on Jeff while he was sick. WHO CARES? Admit it and move on, Gretchen. Seriously!! No one believes you were in love with Jeff anyway. No one would be surprise. People would respect you more if you just admit it and move on. Then we see the clip of Tamra at the reunion show saying that some guy called her and told her that he was Gretchen's boyfriend. And he told her that Jeff was basically paying Gretchen to take care of him. That actually makes sense.

Back to present day, Lynne tells Gretchen she needs to be careful who she hangs out with because Gretchen makes bad choices. Yikes. Gretchen agrees. Ok. Lynne tells Gretchen that she made a really bad choice, but what really matters is how Gretchen feels about herself. Who cares what the others all think? She's got a point. Just live your life and ignore all the crap. Gretchen is determined to get Lynne on her side so she brings up how Tamra wrote that Gretchen and Lynne make her skin crawl. Lynne says she doesn't believe Tamra said that. She thinks it was someone else. I actually believe that Tamra would TOTALLY say something like that, but who the F cares??? Again, high school drama!! Gretchen says that she doesn't think it's right to be friends with someone who "has been so trashy to" your other friend. OMG. I feel like I'm watching the CW. Don't get me wrong, I love the CW, but on this show, it's kind of annoying. Gretchen agrees to come to the dinner that Lynne is throwing, but she'll leave if anything happens.

LYNNE

Alexa - Lynne's younger, high school daughter - has been modeling Lynne's bikini line. Is it just me or is it weird that Alexa walks out in the bikini and Lynne is like "That's going to look hot. Oh YEAH"? That's weird, right? I mean, she's her MOTHER. She could say "that's cute" or "that's flattering", but "that's gonna look hot"? Not appropriate. Then, Alexa goes out in front of the shop in her bikini ONLY and starts shaking her ass and encouraging people to come into the store. What? Lynne doesn't believe Alexa is doing it, but yet, doesn't got out there an pull her by her ear back into the store and demand she put some f-ing clothes on. No, instead, Lynne tells her she's paying her $10/hour. People in the OC are weird. Then Alexa says that for 2 hours, she gets $20 and Lynne says "that's right!!" and high fives her daughter. Really??? She's in HIGH SCHOOL! My GOD, who are these people?

THE ST. REGIS DINNER PARTY (WOOT!)

Lynne is setting up all of her flair.

Tamra is getting ready and excited to see all the housewives. She tries on a bunch of outfits. Simon tells Tamra her outfit is nice, not too much cleavage which he likes. Very conservative. Tamra tells him she'll call him if anything happens. Simon tells her to keep it classy.

Gretchen is getting ready at Jeff's...er, I mean, her house. Gretchen says she doesn't want to see Tamra but she's going to support Lynne. She will be a classy lady per usual (except for all the naked pics) until there's an issue.

Tamra shows up followed by Jeanna. Vicki comes next and Jeanna says she hasn't seen Vicki in a while. Then Jeanna tell us "When times get tough you really know who you're friends are." I guess that means if they don't give you money, they aren't your friend. Of course, Jeanna's interpretation is that Vicki saw that Jeanna was struggling and decided to focus on another friend. Actually, I usually like Jeanna a lot. But, I'm not sure I agree. I think Vicki had a lot of shizz going on with her marriage and just didn't have time to deal with Jeanna's mismanagement of funds issue.

But, Vicki is irritating, too. Don't get me wrong. When Lynne asks Vicki to wear one of her cuffs during the dinner party and Vicki says she prefers diamonds and the cuffs aren't really her style, I thought that was totally classless and rude. Then Vicki interviews that she doesn't really like "biker wear". Whatever. The "cuffs" aren't really my style either, but I'd wear one for a friend and I don't think they are biker wear. Then, Gretchen walks in. AWKWARD.

Gretchen and Tamra are not talking and it gets weird. It's Vicki and Tamra on one couch and Jeanna, Gretchen and Lynne on the other one. Vicki says to Tamra that it's weird that they haven't even acknowledged each other so Tamra waves and says hi. Gretchen responds the same way and now it's even more awkward. HIGH SCHOOL. Gretchen finally tells Lynne to show them her stuff and show them around. FINALLY. They are all trying stuff on and this is the exchange with Vicki and Tamra:

Tamra: (re Gretchen) She looks so pretty. Eww.
Vicki: To me she looks drop dead gorgeous. You don't think?
Tamra: NO.

Then they look at more cuffs and Vicki says they are growing on her. Vicki interviews that personally she doesn't like them but she's not going to say mean things because she (Lynne) is trying really hard. I just see Miss Piggy every time I look at Vicki.

Dinner time.

Jeanna tries to break the ice and says how nice it is that the hardest decision she has to make is what kind of wax job to get. WTF? Is Jeanna on drugs? They are all saying that you don't have to like one another you just need to respect one another...and not hurt each other. Gretchen says that always happens. So, Jeanna says that apologies help with that. And Gretchen says that she doesn't think some people at this table don't know how to apologize. OH GOOD LORD. That's it. Game on. Tamra says she would apologize if she felt she had something to apologize for. Then Lynne asks who at this table feels that someone owes them an apology. Gretchen says that they all owe each other an apology for how they treated each other. Now, it would have been great if they could each have acted like classy ladies and apologized to one another and enjoyed a lovely dinner. BUT, that didn't happen.

OK, here we go. Lynne says that it was all about this guy who called Tamra. Lynne again says that it was Gretchen's poor choice in men that got them there. And, Gretchen quickly says it was her poor choice of having that guy as her "friend". Gretchen says that if it's about the guy then Tamra should be mad at the guy not her. What? Vicki interviews that she and Tamra are tired of Gretchen having this good girl image when there's a lot of bad stuff about Gretchen that people don't know. LIKE WHAT??? TELL US!!! Tamra says that this guy did make her doubt everything and that everytime there's an apology, something goes wrong. Gretchen: (to Tamra) "Are you kidding? Every single time that you say you want a truce or you want to be friends and work it out, you go to the press and say something about me." Tamra insists she doesn't talk to the press, she just stays inside her house and takes care of her kids. They go back and forth and then nutball Lynne quiets everyone and says that she wants to know if Tamra said that Gretchen and Lynne makes her skin crawl. WTF?? Seriously, Lynne? NOW? Tamra denies it and says that Gretchen makes her skin crawl NOT Lynne. Ha! Lynne, satisfied, quietly continues to eat her dinner. Meanwhile, Tamra is yelling to Gretchen "You and SLADE make my skin crawl." Gretchen says that the way she read it, it said Lynne and Gretchen. Tamra says that's a lie. So, Gretchen says "Oh, so I'm a liar?" and Tamra says "Reputation, baby."

Jeanna interrupts Gretchen to tell her to pass along the maccaroni if she's going to eat it and Gretchen gives it to her. WTF? Lynne and Jeanna crack me up. They are just eating.

Tamra: (to Gretchen) All I have to do is look at the computer and everything is on there.

Gretchen: So you believe everything they say about y ...

Tamra: Well, when you're putting vibrators up your vajayjay and screaming and licking girls nipples...

Gretchen: OH PLEASE. So when everyone writes that you're a whore and you're losing your house, should I just believe it?

Vicki interjects and says that Gretchen is being mean. Then Tamra says: "You've got a bad reputation. You have a horrible, horrible, horrible reputaion." Gretchen asks her why she cares and Tamra says "Oh my God. The Hooker of Orange County. I don't want to be your friend." Jeanna stops eating for a minute and tells Tamra that what she said was hurtful.

Jeanna tells Tamra that she isn't being productive and Tamra asks for what. Tamra asks Jeanna if she's buying Gretchen's bullshit. Tamra gets upset that Jeanna is defending Gretchen. Gretchen tells Tamra to tell her to her face if she has a problem with her. Tamra says that she doesn't have a problem with her, she just doesn't like her and wants Gretchen to leave her alone. Then Gretchen asks why she keeps talking shit about her in the press. Tamra denies it and they go back and forth. Jeanna goes back to her dinner and eats. Tamra says that Gretchen is all over the internet with vibrators up her "hoohoo" and Jeanna says "So what? She's single. She's allowed." Then Tamra says "So what? She preys on old men." Oh dang! Gretchen tells Tamra that she is making shit up. Tamra says that Gretchen is always playing the victim. Gretchen says that this is her not playing the victim, this is her telling Tamra to SHUT THE FUCK UP. Snap.

I can't wait!! See you next week.

RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 6

Last time on The Ruins: Ibis was betrayed and went home. WES lost to Cohutta and went HOME!

Why do they make the intro so stupid and cheesy?

KA is reading a letter that Wes left for her telling her that he loves her. Now KA is bored and wants to go home. Annoying.

Susie and Johanna are chatting on the balcony and Susie says that she genuinely wants Veronica to take KA out in The Ruins. Johanna agrees.

Bananas is telling Evan that the Champions need to diversify their strategy and make decisions that benefit the entire team, not just one person. Bananas is questioning his alliance with Evan and sees that the Challengers are all gunning for him. I don't know. After he stabbed Ibis in the back last week, I think he should go into The Ruins. Evan sees that Bananas is playing scared and doesn't trust him.

Veronica is talking to Casey and KA. Veronica doesn't trust anyone and she says that when you're not having conversations about the game with other people, they are having those conversations about you. She's right. But, I don't care because I do not like Veronica. KA tells Veronica to hurt herself so her teammates can't put her in The Ruins. SHADY. Derrick is watching the girls talk and thinks that she may have a deal with Casey and KA to throw the challenge in exchange for not getting picked for The Ruins. He thinks Veronica is the type of person who would throw a challenge.

CHALLENGE DAY

Nominations:

Champions - Derrick, Syrus, Bananas, Veronica, Susie and Johanna
Challengers - Dunbar, Brad, Cohutta, Sarah, Casey and KA.

The Game: "Fruits of Your Labor" - Each team has an obstacle course and a large bin of fruit at the beginning of the course. The object is to take as much fruit with you through the obstacle course and dump it into the team's scale at the end of the course. There are 5 different jobs in this obstacle course. In the beginning, the first team members will be "throwers". They will load up their baskets with fruit and throw the fruit over the wall. The team members on the other side of the wall are the "catchers". They will be standing with a burlap sack to catch the fruit that is thrown over the wall. They empty the sack into baskets for the "runners" who will run the baskets to the "delivery guys" at the table. The "delivery guy" will need to pick up the basket with bamboo sticks and take it to the scale. There, the "dumping person" will dump the basket into the scale. The trick is that the team members cannot touch the fruit with their HANDS except for the throwers.

The Champions don't trust Veronica so they put her with Darrell and Evan as a "thrower" so that she can't really throw the game. Kim and Brad will be "throwers" for the Challengers. Syrus and Susie are "catchers" for the Champions and Cohutta and Dunbar are "catchers" for the Challengers. Kim and Veronica can't even get the fruit over the wall. Dunbar is also a "runner", Sarah and KA are the "delivery girls" and Casey is the "dumper" for the Challengers. For the Champions, Kenny is the "runner", Bananas and Derrick are the "delivery guys" and Johanna is the "dumper". Casey is having a hard time "dumping" the basket into the scale. The scale isn't on the ground so she actually has to lift the basket full of fruit and dump it into the scale.

The Challengers have a great strategy. They are picking out all the mangos which are the heaviest fruits. The Champions are just picking fruit at random. Then, it starts raining. The teams have 1 minute left and it's close. And CHAMPIONS WIN!!

Bananas starts to stir the pot and throws Syrus under the bus. He tells Darrell and Evan that Syrus is injured and banged up and dead weight for the team so he should go into The Ruins. Then he goes to talk to Syrus and Derrick. Syrus realizes that Bananas is using him as the scapegoat. So Bananas thinks Syrus is going in BUT Derrick interviews that he hasn't given Bananas his word.

DELIBERATIONS: Veronica, Susie, Johanna, Bananas, Derrick and Syrus are deliberating.

Veronica wants to choose her opponent. But for the girls, the rule has always been that they vote rather than let her choose. So everyone chooses KA. Veronica calls Derrick a coward because he voted for KA to please the team. Derrick says that he voted for what he believes in and he believes Veronica should go up against KA. Veronica asks why and Derrick says that he believes Veronica wanted to throw the challenge so he wouldn't mind if she left. The guys vote Syrus in and he picks Cohutta.

Syrus feels very betrayed and thrown under bus. Evan, Kenny, Johanna and Susie are in a pretty strong alliance. Susie offers to throw herself in next week, but Evan says that they should keep the four of them safe and he's totally comfortable throwing the same people in each time. They agree and then Veronica emerges from one of the bunk beds and says "Evan, did you not know that I was in the room?" BUSTED. Evan responds that he didn't say anything weird and blows it off. Susie interviews that Veronica is annoyed that her "canoodling" with Evan hasn't paid off. Veronica tells Evan that she's upset by what she heard and that she knows they are planning to get rid of her. Evan replies that there's no "plan" and Veronica tells him that she's not stupid. She's got a point. Evan, you guys totally have a plan and Veronica knows it. Just admit it and move on. Evan tells Veronica that they have a good "relationship" and every time he does something in the game that doesn't coincide with how he should be in a "relationship", Veronica takes it personally and she shouldn't. Hmmm. I see his point. This is a game so try to separate it from the "relationship". But, they are only in a "relationship" BECAUSE of the game. I think that's where the confusion lies.

Veronica tells Casey and KA what she overheard. Veronica says that if she and Syrus come back shit will hit the fan. She says that Veronica and Syrus will start throwing challenges...although I disagree. Syrus is a good sport...he won't throw challenges.

THE RUINS

The game: "Hog Tie" - Each player will be tied to a pole with their hands and feet and suspended upside down. When TJ says "GO", the player will need to shimmy themselves to the other end of the pole collecting a key along the way. At the end, they will lay on a platform and use the key to unlock their hands and feet. Then they will run back to the start and hit the gong. First one wins.

Cohutta says "if a man's got a real good shimmy about him, I think he'll be ahright." LOVE Cohutta.

Cohutta v. Syrus

They both shimmy across the pole and they are on the platform. Syrus has some trouble unlocking himself and COHUTTA WINS.

KA v. Veronica

The girls are having trouble shimming across the pole. KA makes it to the platform first. KA easily unlocks herself before Veronica even makes it to the platform. KA WINS!

Evan interviews "Veronica, our relationship had its ups and downs. I'm gonna miss you. But not really." Heh.

The teams are now EVEN. Seven members on each team. Cohutta has a target on his back because he has the most $$ in his bank account from winning the 2 Ruins.

Bananas is up to no good. He wants to wait until Derrick passes out and then put maple syrup and feathers on him so he looks like a bird. Derrick is not completely out and he jumps off the top bunk onto Bananas and starts to wrestle with him. He interviews that he sleeps with pictures of his family on the bed and it's a sacred area for him. So the maple syrup and feathers pissed him off and made him flip out. Bananas is pissed that Evan is not jumping in to help him. Evan interviews that Bananas was the one who brought the feathers: "who brings feathers to Thailand? What are you? A freakin' drag queen?" HAHA! Kenny and Evan finally restrain Derrick and Bananas yells "There's 14 people in this fucking house and I'M the one who's always doing stuff" insinuating that he's being wrongfully blamed for the syrup and feathers prank. Um...but it was your idea, Bananas, and those were YOUR feathers and YOU were pouring the syrup and putting on the feathers. Kenny interviews about Bananas: "This is why no one likes you. You're an idiot!" HAHA.

See you next week.

The City, Season Two, Episode 19

Last time on The City: Olivia was a bitch, we met Fridolin Fackelmayer and I found out that Roxy Olin is on Brothers and Sisters.

Newsflash! Apparently Roxy isn't the only Olin benefiting from her famous parents' connections. It appears that Clifford Olin, Roxy's older brother, is a WRITER for Brothers and Sisters!

Central Park. Whit and Roxy are at the park and Whit is trying to pry off Roxy's boots. As the girls are laying out - yes they are in bikinis - at the park, Roxy says that she wishes they were on a beach. Whit tells her that Freddie invited Whit (and friends, I assume) to go to his family's place in the Hamptons. Roxy is intrigued. Whit tells Roxy that Sami will be coming, too, and Roxy is not pleased. Roxy says that she feels like Sami is competing with her for Whitney. Whit doesn't think that's it, she thinks that Roxy and Sami just need some QT together. So it will be Whit, Roxy, Sami, Freddie and Harry all in the Hamptons.

OPENING CREDITS.

"Weekend at Freddie's"

CityView Racquet Club, Long Island City. Whit and Freddie are playing tennis. Whit tells Freddie that she's coming up with Sami and Roxy and hopes that they get along. Freddie tells Whit that Harry is coming from school this weekend, too.

Milk Studios, Meatpacking District. Erin, Joe Zee and Olivia are all there at a photo shoot. Joe fills Olivia in on the next issue: The Personal Style issue. He tells her how important it is to understand the personal style of the people they are covering. He tells her that bloggers (ahem)
are so important right now. They are the ones getting the news out to the public, which Joe finds very fascinating. The woman being shot right now is a blogger named Jane who is obsessed with fashion. Joe tells Olivia that she will be interviewing and that she has to include a Q&A about fashion for each blogger. He tells her how important accessories are to Elle Magazine and he really needs Olivia to draw out from the Bloggers their personalities. And to keep in mind - as the reader - what do you want to know about these people. Yikes! This sounds like actual work. I'm not sure Olivia is up to this...she's more of the "shopper" employee. Joe says to make sure she asks everything and that he's counting on her and Erin.

Car on the way to Freddie's. Sam is driving Whit and Roxy to Freddie's and notes that this is the first time since the party at Jay's that Whit will be with Freddie and Harry. Roxy wants to know why that's weird. Whit tells her that Freddie told her that Harry was trying to hook up with Whit that night. Awkward. Roxy is seriously interrogating Sami. She asks Sami how she met Freddie (through her best friend who met him in the Hamptons), if she ever "got with" Freddie (no.), why not (i don't know), is she from a small town or big city (small town) and - since small time girls are wild, Roxy wants to know the craziest thing Sami has ever down. Sami is embarrassed and can't think of anything, so Whit tells Roxy to go first. Roxy tells us that she got really wasted this one time and she and her best friend went to get tattoos. The tattoo artist told her to pull down her pants a little and she took of all of her clothes. Roxy says that she has no memory of this and that now she has a random tattoo on her crotch. Nice. I bet the 'rents are proud. They are dancing in the car to Mariah and Roxy is rocking out. She decides to stick her head out of the sun roof and totally stands up through it. Girl has gone wild.

Freddie's House. Freddie greets the ladies as they arrive in the house. Harry is in the pool and jumps out to say hello. Roxy tells them that they look like identical twins. Then she asks them if they've been "tanning". They say they've been swimming and kind of mumble and Roxy says "you guys were in the booth, huh?" HAHA. She totally called them out for "tanning" in a booth! She's funny. They all gather in the kitchen to get their booze on and Roxy asks what the plan is. Freddie suggests they go to "Lily Pond" - which I assume is a club - and says that they should get there earlier rather than later... like before midnight. The girls are confused and feel like before midnight is WAY too early. Roxy calls Freddie "Wild Frankenmiles". HEH. Freddie says "it's Fackelmayer" and Roxy just dismisses him. Harry comes in after changing out of his suit. Roxy asks Harry if he's legal to drink alcohol. HAHA. He's 21. Then she asks if there will be an after party and Harry says that the pool is going to get used. So Roxy says "and you are sleeping...?" to which Harry replies "wherever we end up." HA. Roxy is crazy with all the questions. Jeez.

Milk Studios. Olivia goes to interview one of the bloggers, Jane Aldridge (Blogger, Sea of Shoes - apparently she's been blogging since she was 12). Olivia asks her 3 questions: Why shoes as opposed to bags or dresses? I hear you have a stylish mom? (which isn't really a question) and Do you feel you have to constantly update your blog? And...scene. Seriously. That was the big interview. WEAK. Erin comments to Juliet Jernigan, Photo Coordinator for Elle "that was it? I think we're in trouble." Olivia moves onto her next blogger, Tommye Fitzpatrick (Blogger, Fashionologie.com). Olivia asks: How did you start your blog? Describe your personal style. What are the trends that you're seeing right now that you're putting on your website? Anything else you want to add that our readers don't know about you? And...scene. Three questions and a command. Wow. She tells Erin that she's done and Erin asks what kind of questions she asked. Olivia says a couple of them, including the "trend" question she asked Tommye and Erin tells her that they can't use that one because the issue is coming out in late Fall and the interview will be talking about summer trends. Olivia dismissively tells her that she has a bunch of other stuff and that she's taking off. So Erin goes back and re-interviews the Bloggers to get more material for the article.

Freddie's House. The boys are in the kitchen talking about how crazy Roxy is. Roxy is telling Whit that she doesn't think Sami likes her very much. Roxy tells Whit that she tried to talk to Sami and Sami ignored her. Whit says that maybe Sami is tired and asks Roxy to give her the benefit of the doubt. Whit is so nice. The boys are talking to Sami and ask her what she thinks of Roxy. Sami tries to say what she thinks but the boys keep interrupting. Freddie says he likes Roxy and asks Sami if they should be nice to her. Meanwhile, Roxy and Whit are talking about the boys. They agree that Freddie is cute and very nice...which Roxy thinks is a little weird, the nice part that is. Then she tells Whit that Harry's cute, too, and Whit can have her pick.

Lily Pond, East Hamptons. They are all dancing and partying. Um...I think Freddie is wearing a tuxedo shirt. I shit you not. I really think it's a tuxedo shirt. And a blazer, of course. Harry is opting for the Miami Vice look and has a T-shirt with a blazer. Harry goes up to Whit and hugs her and tells her that he loves her. He and Whit are laughing and a very pissed off Freddie watches them. Whit tells Sami that Harry kissed her and Freddie says "this is so fucked up on so many levels right now". Freddie goes over to Harry and says "What the hell, dude? Seriously. Stop dancing with my girl." So Harry walks over to Whit and says "You know Freddie has a girlfriend, right?" OH SNAP! Whit says NO and she asks where she is and why she's never around. Harry says that's the way he wants it. Whit is PISSED and tells Roxy that she wants to go.

Freddie's House. It's the next day and the boys are swimming in the pool. Whit and Roxy are talking about the info Whit received the night before. Whit says that if she were the girlfriend, she would be SO upset. Roxy thinks that Freddie gets away with way too much and that he probably does this all the time - pick up on other chicks. Whit thinks that Freddie was too scared to tell her about the girlfriend so he had Harry do it. But Roxy tells her that Freddie was freaking out because he thought Harry was going to kiss Whit. Roxy tells Whit that she should call his girlfriend and tell her and then Roxy decides that she's going to call her to teach Freddie a lesson. Roxy = Drama! Sami comes in and asks what she's missing and Whit says that Freddie's about to get reprimanded.

Elle Magazine. Joe calls Erin and Olivia into his office. He asks how the blogger shoot went and Olivia says that she has a concern. She says that both girls gave the same answer: they like shoes. Um...not exactly. So Joe asks what questions, specifically, did she ask. Olivia tells him some of the questions but says that the bloggers didn't really give much. She tells Joe that she tried to draw them out but they weren't really talking. WRONG. Joe tells Olivia that the answers are lackluster and that he's surprised because she did such a great job on the A to Z column. He needed her to dig deeper and get some personal stories and some fashion antidotes. Joe tells her that he doesn't want to micro manage her but at the same time, he has no idea what he can pull out of that for the interview piece. He tells her that she has to do some follow up now. Erin pipes up and tells Joe that they don't need to follow up. She tells him that she interviewed them after Olivia left. Joe says "you did?" Erin says "Of course I did." Erin says that they needed to get information from them that people can't get by googling them. So she asked a bunch of questions. Olivia says "Whatever. It doesn't matter." and Erin says "It does matter because I wouldn't have had to stay and do your job, essentially." Olivia just smiles smugly. I really do not like Olivia. I can't believe Erin didn't just slap that smug smile off Olivia's face. Joe breaks the tension by saying that he has to depend on Olivia and he doesn't want to walk away wondering if Olivia "got it." He tells Olivia that she's at Elle because he believes in her taste, her eye and her "passion for fashion." So "don't disappoint, just do it." He basically tells her that he's got her back so she better not make him feel like an idiot for hiring her.

Freddie's house. The girls join the boys by the pool. I love how under Freddie's name, it says "Whitney's Date". Roxy tells Freddie that they aren't speaking and he asks why. Whit says that Harry told her that Freddie has a girlfriend. Freddie's response: "But...I don't know." WTF kind of answer is that? So Roxy asks why Freddie was freaking out when Harry and Whit were talking and saying "if they kiss I'm going to die." Freddie says that he probably wouldn't want Harry hooking up with Whit and Roxy asks why. Roxy says if Freddie has a girlfriend then he can't "claim on Whitney". Oh the lingo of youth. Then Freddie tells Harry that he's supposed to be on his side. Roxy says that Freddie is cock blocking him. Freddie says that they are making him feel like a Douche. If the shoe fits... Roxy shrugs and says that Freddie has a girlfriend and that's shady. Then she says that Whit doesn't always stick up for herself and Roxy wants to make sure that whoever she's with is treating her good. Roxy says that she doesn't think Freddie's treating Whit so good if he has a girlfriend. Whitney interjects and says that she doesn't need a mouthpiece and Freddie doesn't think she does either. Roxy mumbles "Of course, YOU don't think she does." Freddie says that he should have told them. Sami says "let's go" and the girls head out. Freddie did such a shitty job apologizing and defending himself. I mean, I know there's really nothing to defend, but he just kind of sat there. He IS a Douche.

See you next week!

The Hills, Season 5, Episode 516

Last time...Sponge Bob doesn't want kids. Brody & Jayde break up. Kristin still has JB drama.

Malibu. Kristin and Brody are walking on the beach and she's asking him what's going on with him and Jayde. Brody says they're on a break ("WE WERE ON A BREAK"). Kristin asks what that means. (She really wants to know if she can hook up with Brody without looking like a total bitch). Brody tells Kristin that he still loves Jayde, but he doesn't want to fight with her anymore. Then he asks Kristin what she thinks he should do. Kristin tells him that he's a lot more fun when she's not around. Then they reminisce about the old days when they dated. Brody asks Kristin what she thinks would happen if they dated now that they're older. They both say "you never know". So bad. Brody asks Kristin when she's going to "divorce" JB. Kristin: "HAHA! SHUT UP!" That's not an answer, Kristin.

OPENING CREDITS

"I'm Done With You"

Speidi's House. Holly brings Sponge Bob a drink out on the deck and Sponge Bob comments that this "married thing" is finally beginning to pay off. Heidi hints that her birthday is coming up. He asks her what she wants and she says that she wants a party. Instead of saying "that sounds like fun" which is what a normal husband would say, Sponge Bob starts to bitch at her for not liking their house and now wants a party there. Heidi says that they got the party house and now she wants a party. Makes sense to me. Sponge Bob says that a party is a lot of work. Heidi says "I don't care 'cuz it's my party" and smiles. HA!

Audrina's House. Lo is helping Audrina fold her laundry and confesses that she's a sucker for blue and white stripes. Weird. These girls need real jobs. Lo tells Audrina that Brody and Jayde are "on a break". ("WE WERE ON A BREAK" - sorry, I can't help it. It just makes me laugh). Audrina says that Brody will never get lucky with another Playmate. I doubt that. I'm sure there are plenty of golddigging Playmates eager to get their 15 minutes with a reality TV star like Brody. Plus, he's cute and he's connected. His dad is Bruce Jenner and his step sisters are the Kardashians! Come on! Audrina tells Lo that she got an invite to Heidi's party. Lo says she got one, too, but she can't go. Audrina tells her that she's considering going. She says that Kristin will probably be there. Audrina says that she's going there for Heidi not Kristin, so she'll just go and see what happens.

Bodega Wine Bar, Santa Monica. Kristin meets JB for a drink. JB asks when Heidi's party is and Kristin says that it's this weekend. Kristin says she's going and JB says he doesn't want to run into Audrina so he'll probably skip it. JB tells Kristin that he wouldn't be surprised if Audrina tries to befriend her. WTF? Oh, I think JB is saying that in case Audrina tells Kristin that JB and Audrina met up for a drink...and then Kristin will think she's lying to befriend her. Kristin gets suspicious and asks JB if there's anything that Audrina might tell her. JB says nothing at all and that he hopes Audrina tells Kristin everything. Kristin asks him if he's hiding something. BUSTED. She's onto you, JB. Kristin tells JB that she'll be honest with him always if he's honest with her...that's all she asks for. Although, JB keeping his meeting with Audrina to himself is kind of like Kristin not telling JB about her convo with Brody about what would happen if they dated each other again. Something tells me she won't see it that way.

Speidi's House. Heidi is setting up for the party without any help from Sponge Bob who is lounging on the couch. They talk about Brody coming to the party with Kristin. Heidi says that Brody and Jayde must be over. Sponge Bob says that they are on a break and that there's a difference between being "on a break" and being "broken up". Heidi says she knows all about that. Heh. They chat a little about Audrina and Kristin both being at the party. Then Heidi asks Sponge Bob what he got her for her birthday. She told him that it better be amazing since she had to throw herself her own birthday party. (Seriously?? What is up with these people? Don't they know that after your parents stop throwing you birthday parties and you GROW UP, you throw yourself birthday parties!! This girl was raised with way too much positive reinforcement). She tells Sponge Bob to get the rest of the stuff for the party and he goes back to "reading" a coffee table book.

PARTY TIME

She-Pratt and Audrina are driving in Audrina's white mercedes SUV (seriously?? They get paid to be stupid on TV?? Lame). Audrina is telling She-Pratt that she's excited to see Speidi's place. She-Pratt says that Heidi is trying to have an "adult" birthday party so they are keeping it small. Um...then why didn't they invite any adults? She-Pratt says that Kristin is coming. Audrina tells She-Pratt that she met with JB and he told her that he and Kristin aren't really dating. Then JB told Audrina that it's weird having Kristin on the back of his bike because that's Audrina's spot. She-Pratt is shocked. She-Pratt asks if Audrina is going to tell Kristin and Audrina says that maybe Kristin needs to know. She-Pratt pretends to be nervous, but secretly can barely control her excitement for the drama that will unfold at the party.

Speidi's House. OMG, Jen Bunny (LC's friend from the OC who stabbed her in the back a few seasons ago) arrives and she's BLONDE now. We still know who you are, Bunny! Heidi tells her that Kristin is coming. Then, Kristin shows up with Brody and Co. and Bunny runs up to her like they are long lost friends. Um, if Bunny and LC were friends in HS, then Bunny would hate Kristin. These girls are all dumb. Sponge Bob annouces to the "party" of about 6 people that he has Heidi's present. He says that he knows how badly she wants babies and these are the only babies she's going to get from him. He brings out two little yappy dogs in a Louis Vuitton dog carrier. They are totally cute, but as a non yappy dog person, I would just find them really annoying. Heidi is totally the type of person who would have those little, itty bitty, fur balls in a Louis Vuitton carrier, ala Jessica Simpson.

Audrina walks in just as Kristin was about to tell Bunny that Kristin and JB are officially together. Audrina and Brody are out on the deck chatting about the good ole days. Brody tells Audrina that he and Jayde are "on the ropes" which I think means "on a break". He also says that he's been hanging out with Kristin which complicates things. Audrina says that Kristin might get mad that Audrina and Brody are talking right now. Audrina says that she doesn't really know Kristin that well, but what she has heard is that Kristin is not the "relationship type". Kristin is STARING at Audrina from inside the party. Audrina tells Brody that Kristin will date him to hurt Jayde and then she'll move on. That's what she does. Brody goes back in and Kristin asks how his talk with Audrina went. Kristin is either a) drunk, b) high, or c) both of the above. My guess is c) both of the above. She's totally slurring. Brody tells her that it went well and that he hasn't talked to Audrina in a long time. Kristin says that she should talk to Audrina. Why?

Kristin walks up to Audrina and asks if she can talk to her for a minute. Maybe Kristin isn't slurring, maybe she's mumbling? I can't figure it out but she looks drunk and high. They go outside and Kristin just says that they should be able to hang out at a party without staring at each other from across the room. Kristin says that when Audrina blew her off for lunch, she wrote her off. Audrina argues that she doesn't know Kristin, they aren't friends and she didn't want to have lunch with her. Kristin says "That's exactly why I shouldn't stay away from [JB] because you and I aren't friends." Audrina says that she doesn't feel like there's much more to talk about. Kristin says that she really wanted to talk to Audrina because when she talks to JB, he just tells her that he and Audrina were never together. Which, Kristin says, "I'm sure that's very hard for you to hear, as a woman." (Why? Why would you need to go there, Kristin? Just date JB and move on!) So, Audrina says that she met with JB the other night and Kristin asks what he said. Audrina says that JB basically said that he and Kristin were never together and that he never got over Audrina. Hmmm. It's KIND OF what he said, but the "never got over" Audrina part might be a bit of an exaggeration. He said that he'd never find anyone as good as her, but that doesn't mean he's not over her. Kristin: "Really?" and Audrina smiles and says "Yeah" and takes a sip of her wine. Kristin is clearly embarassed and pretends not to believe Audrina. Kristin "Ok, Audrina" (in a totally mocking voice). Audrina says that as far as JB is concerned, Kristin can keep her distance and Audrina will keep hers. Audrina says that she could care less who Kristin dates, who she's involved with, she could give two shits. Kristin: "Fuck you. Like I don't want to be friends with you. Like I'm done with you." Audrina smiles, says "see you around" and walks away. That was dumb. Kristin totally asked for that. Audrina isn't asking to be your friend, Kristin. SHE stood YOU up for lunch. Take the hint and move on. I think Kristin was trying to save face there at the end. Sorry, Kristin, it didn't work. You looked like a drunk woman scorned. Audrina: 1 Kristin: 0. Audrina and She-Pratt take off and say bye to Heidi.

Kristin's Place, Malibu. BS (Bartender Stacie) walks in and Kristin offers her some breakfast, yogurt and fruit. That sounds kind of good right now. BS asks about the party. This should be good. I can't wait to hear Kristin's perspective of the Audrina confrontation. Kristin says that she went up to Audrina to talk things out and Audrina told Kristin that she's been seeing JB. Ok, not exactly. Audrina said that she met up with him "the other night"...ONCE. Not "seeing" him. Kristin is all "DRAMA" and says that JB has been lying to her about seeing Audrina so now she feels like everything he's ever said is a lie. WOW. Way to blow things out of proportion. Kristin, super sleuth that she is, tells BS that JB tried to get her NOT to go to Heidi's party and now she knows WHY! Ok, JB did NOT try to get her not to go. He said that HE wasn't going. Dumb. BS is just taking it all in. BS: "Wow." This show is like Dumb and Dumber where the title characters change with every scene. Kristin says she's done and she's going to meet JB for lunch and end it today. BS is still trying to let it all sink in - Don't hurt yourself, BS.

Milk, Los Angeles. Audrina, Lo and She-Pratt are all having lunch to fill Lo in on the party, no doubt. Let's see how Audrina tells the story. Audrina says that Kristin came up to her and wanted to talk. Then Kristin basically told Audrina that no one stands her up and because Audrina did, Kristin felt like she could do whatever she wanted, but then she told Audrina that she didn't do it out of spite. Hmmm, pretty accurate. She-Pratt says that it seemed like Kristin just went out with JB to get a rise out of Audrina. Lo says that "gives her the sads." WTF? Oh, Lo. Then Audrina says that she told her she met with JB and that shut Kristin up. Yup. That happened. She-Pratt and Lo both say "GOOD" and Audrina says "that's it. she can do what she wants." I'd say that Audrina's account was accurate. Of course, she had nothing to be embarassed about...regarding that particular conversation. I mean, these people should all be embarassed in general, but in this particular instance, Audrina didn't look worse than Kristin.

8oz. Burger Bar. Kristin and JB are having lunch. Kristin sits and says "So, I heard you're back with little miss Audrina". WHAT??? Ok, Kristin TOTALLY made that up. JB says "You heard that?" and Kristin says "Yeah. Word on the street is." Dumb. She's an idiot. JB asks Kristin why she doesn't ask the source. Good point, JB. Kristin says "Last night at the party..." and JB says "I heard." Kristin asks what he heard and he tells her he wants to hear it from Kristin. So Kristin tells him that she went up to Audrina and they ended up getting in a huge fight and Audrina stormed out. OMG. Doesn't she realize that MTV is TAPING all of this. Yes, they talked, but it was not a HUGE FIGHT. Plus, Audrina left not "stormed out" after the conversation ended. SO dumb. JB is so condescending, but I kind of love it when it's directed at Kristin. JB says "What's with you? Can we just take it down to 'cruise'?" HAHA. Love it. So Kristin asks JB what's going on with him and Audrina. JB says that Audrina wanted to talk and they had a beer afterwards. Then Kristin says "And it all starts again". Wow. She's acting like a jealous girlfriend. JB says no and he's tired of that cycle. I actually believe him. I don't think he did anything wrong. You all know I'm not a JB fan, but in this case, I don't think he's wrong. He saw Audrina and they talked. He told her how much she meant to him which is totally understandable after 4 years of dating someone. But there is no indication from Audrina or JB that they've "been hanging out". Kristin is just pissed because she had to hear it from Audrina (who embellished a little) and Kristin was embarassed. JB tells Kristin that he wants a good relationship that's "smooth sailing" where they have trust. He acknowledges that he and Kristin don't trust each other. Then he says that Kristin has a batting average of strikes. Ouch. Kristin says "that was a low blow." It kind of was. Then she tells JB that she's heard stuff about him and when she sees a pattern, she moves on. JB asks her what her motive is...to get a rise out of him? He says that kind of behavior pushes him away. Then Kristin says "Ok, I'm done" and gets up and leaves. I don't think that went the way she anticipated. I think she expected him to swear up and down that he's not with Audrina and that Kristin is the only one for him. JB is just not that guy, Kristin.

See you next week!

SYTYCD, 18 to 16

Cat tells us that next week, the public will start voting, but this week the "jidges" will send one girl and one boy packing.

The Jidges: Adam "Spirit Fingers" Shankman, Mary "Screamer" Murphy, and Nigel "Creepy" Lythgoe. They make jokes about Paula Abdrool not showing up. Nigel pretends like FOX and Dick Clark Productions have any say whatsoever about the "rules" of HIS show. He says that they agreed to allow Billy (the kid who had to drop out due to illness) start in the top 100 in Vegas next season. They've also agreed to let Brandon reapply and do the entire audition process again. Wow, how nice of them. Way to pass the buck, Nigel, and make FOX, etc. take any heat for those decisions.

Ok, enough. Let's see the dancers!!

Noelle (she's back) and Russell

New choreographer Jamal Sims will be creating a routine for them. They are dancing with tennis rackets. Interesting. I think it's a hip hop routine.

They are dancing to "Move Shake Drop Remix" by DJ Las, Flo Rida & Casely. And they are wearly shiny tennis outfits. I thought they were together and did a good job. HOWEVER, in the middle of the routine, Noelle did a really weak cartwheel and I couldn't tell if she did it like that on purpose or if her knee was hurting. Either way, it looked sloppy. Otherwise they did good. The judges agree that it was ok and Nigel pointed out Noelle's crappy cartwheel.

Ashleigh and Jakob

They are dancing the Viennese Waltz choreographed by Melanie Lapatin and Tony Meredith. YAWN! I'm going to watch, so I can talk about it, but I'm not going to like it. It's a wedding dance so they are pretending to get married. Dumb. They dance to "At Last" by Etta James. Ok, I LOVE this song. For a long time, I wanted the first dance at my wedding to be to this song. So good. They look like the couple on top of a wedding cake, with the veil and everything. Hmmm. I don't know. Lots of twirling and spinning. Jakob does the splits in the air which was kind of cool. I think they did well, it was just boring. I completely DISAGREE with Spirit Fingers. He thinks there were too many lifts and that he would've just liked to see them waltz. He also didn't like the splits in the air. Ok, the lifts and the splits were the BEST PART! If those were gone, I would've fallen asleep. The judges all like them, but not blown away.

Victor and Bianca

They are doing a Tyce Diorio broadway dance. They are dancing to music from The Color Purple Musical.

They dance to "Maybe God is Tryin' to Tell You Something" from The Color Purple Soundtrack. I saw this musical and really enjoyed it. I thought the dance was fun. There was a lot of jumping around. I didn't think they were very together. I don't know...it was ok. The judges weren't blown away either.

Mollee and Nathan

Someone needs to tell some of these dancers that they spell their names incorrectly. BOLLYWOOD! They will be dancing a Bollywood number choreographed by Nakul Dev Mahajan. Mollee is pretty immature, but she's cute. They are an adorable couple. Seriously, Nathan is HOT.

They are dancing to "Azeem O Shaan Shahenshah" from the Jodhaa Akbar Sountrack (yeah, I don't know). Very cool. I love the Bollywood numbers. I thought they executed it very well. Awesome. Oh jeez. We got a scream from the Screamer. OMG, she totally reminds me of Miss Piggy, swinging her hair around with all that ridiculous jewelry. Nigel is totally her Kermie! I thought they did a really great job. Woot!

Channing and Phillip

They will be dancing the Samba choreographed by Melanie Lapatin and Tony Meredith. Them again??? Seriously? Where are Tabitha and Napoleon?!?! Come back!! I don't like this ballroom crap. It's so boring. UGH!

They are dancing to "Maracatu Funk" by The Samba Squad. They do this complicated lift thing. Awkward. It was not smooth. She's kind of big and manish. When they do lifts, Phillip looks like he's struggling. She's not fat, but she's clearly solid. The judges agree that they looked like they were struggling. Meh.

Kevin and Karen

YAYAYAY!!! Finally!! Napoleon and Tabitha!! LOVE. They are choreographing these guys. I hope that Kevin and Karen can do the hip hop routine justice.

They dance to "Ice Cream Paint Job" by Dorrough. It's a race car themed dance. Karen is the driver and Kevin is the mechanic. I thought that was fantastic. They did a great job!!! So much fun. Love it. The judges agree. Oh good LORD. Kevin is on the HOT TAMALE TRAIN. Screamer is really too much ... not in a good way.

Legacy and Kathryn

They will be dancing a contemporary piece choreographed by Stacey Tookey. Kathryn is going to "struggle with fear" and Legacy will be "fear." So deep.

They are dancing to "2 Steps Away" by Patti LaBelle. Wow. That was AWESOME. I hardly miss Mia Michaels. I thought that was fantastic. I loved it. Spirit Fingers agreed wholeheartedly and I didn't have it in me to listen to Screamer and Creepy. Great Dance!!

Peter and Pauline (NEW COUPLE)

These two both lost their partners last week. Let's see how they match up. Wade "Britney cheated on JT with me" Robson will be choreographing a weird Wade Robson-type routine for them. He's choreographing a version of Van Gough's Starry Night as if people were in the painting. Huh?

They dance to "Little Green Bag" by George Baker Selection. It was totally weird, but really interesting. I thought it was great. The judges agree.

Ellenore and Ryan

They will be dancing an Argentine tango choreographed by Miriam Larici & Leonardo Barrionuevo. UGH! Why couldn't it be hip hop or contemporary? THREE BALLROOM ROUTINES!!! THREE??? Not fair. This better be good.

They are dancing to "Violentango" by Astor Piazzolla. I really like this couple. It was actually lovely... a little boring, but lovely. Her dress was caught in her heel for most of the performance - which I actually thought was part of the costume - but she kept dancing. Great job. UGH - Screamer got up and yelled.

ELIMINATION

My prediction is Noelle or Bianca for the girls and Russell or Victor.

Bottom four:

Noelle, Phillip, Victor and Bianca are dancing for their lives. Three out four.

Whoa...Bianca and Phillip - two of the three tappers - go home. I'm ok with that decision.

See you for the Top 16 next week.

Amazing Race 15 - Episode 7

Last time on the Amazing Race: Mika was lame and wouldn't go down the waterslide, so Clueless went home. 6 teams remain...

The teams are departing from the Atlantis Resort in Dubai.

The Blondes are the first team to depart at 1:13 p.m.

THE CLUE: Teams must now fly to Amsterdam. Once there, they will drive themselves to the Leili (sp?) Monument. There, they will find their next clue.

The Blondes take off. They arrive to find out that the earliest flight to Amsterdam leaves at ... MIDNIGHT! Bunching!! So, it will be difficult to remain in the lead with the other teams leaving on the same flight. DOH!

Poker Chicks are second to leave, followed by Rainbow. Team USA is next and Miss America admits that she is a nagging wife. Heh. Farmers (!!) leave fifth and the Globes are last to depart. All teams are headed to the airport.

All the teams are chilling out and the Globes come up. The teams want to know what happened with Clueless. Big Easy is telling them how Mika was crying and he didn't want her to cry so he told her not go down 'cuz it ain't worth it!! The teams all laugh. Then he says that he felt bad that she was crying, but he didn't want to lose either. It is a game afterall. The teams are all getting along and laughing together...so Rainbow decides that it's time to "come out" as the "token gay team" to everyone. Everyone smiles and laughs. I think this group of teams is my favorite Amazing Race group ever. I don't strongly dislike any team. Yes, Poker Chicks are annoying and probably my least favorite. But they aren't bad. Team USA can get annoying, but they are ok, too. I only dislike the Blondes because they are so obviously the frontrunners and I like it when it's a close race. But overall, the teams are great. They totally embrace Rainbow. :)

All teams head out on the same flight and arrive in Amsterdam. The teams are frantically getting in their cars and heading out. Everyone makes their way out of the garage except for Team USA. Poor Brian can't get the car in "drive" and Miss America is trying to coach him. Poker Chicks comment that some teams don't know how to drive luxury cars since they are all in Mercedes SUVs. Heh. Brian finally asked some random to help him get the car in drive. Dumb.
Brian is freaking out and Miss America yells at him for getting her all upset. WTF? I guess Brian isn't allowed to be freaked out or upset because it makes Miss America too upset. DIVA ALERT! Wow. Can you say "high maintenance"? Whatever, I'm sure he knew what he was getting into when he married her.

The Blondes, Rainbow, Poker Chicks, Farmers and Globes all make it to the monument and run to get the next clue.

NEXT CLUE: Teams must now make their way to the city of Groningen and head to the Martinitoren, the highest building in the city, and search for their next clue.

The five teams are on their way to Groningen and Team USA is still on the way to the monument. The Globes are talking about Team USA having car problems. Flight Time says that the one name they know on this race is "Brian" because all they hear from Miss America is her yelling "BRIAN!!" "BRIAN!!" HA!

Team USA finally makes it to the monument and head to Groningen. The Blondes and Rainbow make it to Martinitoren (Rainbow: "Like the drink!"). They find the clue.

ROADBLOCK: Teams must navigate their way up the narrow winding staircases and maze of doors to the top of the Martinitoren. On the way up, they must count the number of bells in the tower of the Martinitoren that makes up the famous carillon. Once they have the correct number (62), they will tell the player of the carillon and receive their next clue.

Sam (Rainbow) and Meghan (Blondes) decide to do the task together to help each other out. It seems complicated to have two people doing it together, but whatever. Flight Time (Globes) and Matt (Farmers!!) arrive next and start up the stairs. Tiffany (Poker Chicks) goes up for her team. Team USA finally arrives and Miss America goes up.

Sam and Meghan are at the top trying to count the rest of the bells when Matt arrives. The bells start to ring and Sam and Meghan have trouble communicating over the loud bells. Meanwhile, Matt finishes and goes back down to see if he has the right number. HE DOES!! WOOT! Farmers are now first and get the next clue!!

NEXT CLUE: Teams must now drive themselves to the town of Vierhuizen de Marne and find a windmill where they'll find their next clue.

Sam and Meghan get the right number. On their way down, Sam tells Tiffany (Poker Chick) that the number is 62, so she goes right to the guy to get her next clue. Blondes and Rainbow are now making their way to Vierhuizen de Marne by following a taxi. They pass Farmers, who are asking locals for directions. Poker Chicks and Globes are next to take off. Miss America finishes counting and comes up with 43! WRONG!! Miss America is telling herself that BRIAN should have done this roadblock. Heh. No matter what, it's his fault.

Rainbow makes it to the windmill first with Blondes a close second. They get the next clue.

DETOUR: First, teams must put on traditional Dutch costumes and ride bicycles to the fork in the road. There they must choose Farmers' Game or Farmers' Dance. In Farmers' Game, teams must find a creek, strip down to their costume underwear and swim across it. Then, using the Dutch clubs, they have to play three rounds of farmers' golf. Taking turns, teams must finish each hole in less than 8 strokes. If they don't, they have to keep playing until they are up to par.
In Farmers' Dance, teams must find the country festival. One team member will need to ring the bell at the top of the high striker. Then, they'll have to learn a Dutch folk dance which they will have to perform correctly in front of a crowd. If their instructor is pleased with their work, they will be rewarded with some salted herring and onions (gross). When they finish the herring, they will get their next clue.

Blondes and Rainbow both opt for Farmers' Game. Sam gets the guy outfit and Dan will be wearing the girl outfit. Cute. The real Farmers arrive and they opt for Farmers' Dance. Matt will be the guy and his dad is wearing the girl costume.

Back at Martinitoren, Miss America re-counts and misses (56) again. She's starting to panic a little bit. She heads back up to count again.

Rainbow, Blondes, and Farmers take off on their bicycles. The dad and Dan look so cute in their dresses! Poker Chicks arrive and decide to do Farmers' Dance. HAHA! Rainbow arrive at Farmers' Game and strip down to their long johns. Blondes show up and strip down. Both teams make it across the creek and start playing. Meghan has never played golf and she's having issues. It's actually more like a cross between croquet and golf. The clubs are large with dutch shoes as the "mallet" part of the club. The balls are larger and look more like croquet balls. The only thing that's "golf" is that you need to get the ball in a hole. Rainbow makes it in the first hole.

Miss America tries a third time and is wrong again (57)! She's only counting the bells on the top, but not the ones hiding along the way!

Farmers arrive at Farmers' Dance and they each ring the bell and go inside. They both laugh hysterically during their "interview". So CUTE! The Poker Chicks head out on their bicycles and Maria is having issues because she's in the "Man" costume and the shoes are HUGE.

Miss America comes down from the tower and tells Brian that she's not giving up but it's the hardest thing. Brian is so sweet and super understanding - more than she would be if the situation were reversed. He tells her to take a five minute break and they walk outside.

Back at Farmers' Game, Rainbow gets the second hole and the third and get their next clue.

NEXT CLUE: Teams must now bike through town to Zoutkamp Harbor, the Pit Stop for this leg of the race.

Meghan is getting increasingly frustrated and the Blondes can't make the first hole. Meghan finally gets the hang of it and they get the first hole. Meanwhile, at Farmers' Dance, Matt reads the clue again and realizes that they will have to eat herring. HE HATES FISH. So Farmers head to Farmers' Game. Rainbow make it back across the creek and head out to the next Pit Stop. Blondes finish up Holes #2&3 and make their way back across the creek. The Poker Chicks are taking turns hitting the high striker but they don't have enough strength to make it up to the top. Globes arrive at the windmill and decide to do Farmers' Dance.

Miss America FINALLY gets 62!! WOOT! Now she and Brian head to the windmill.

Rainbow is the first team to the PIT STOP! Phil asks them if they like to dress up like that and Sam tells him that they "aren't those type of gay guys!" Heh. As winners of this leg of the race, they won a SAND BUGGY!

Farmers cross the creek to play Farmers' Game. Globes are riding bikes to Farmers' Dance. Poker Chicks give up after not being able to hit the high striker and head to Farmers' Game. The Globes easily hit the high striker and go in to learn the dance.

Blondes are the second team to the pit stop!

Team USA makes it to the windmill and decide to do Farmers' Dance. Poker Chicks head across the creek to play some golf. Team USA heads out and miss the bicycles entirely. This is not their day. Farmers make the first hole and head to the second one. Poker Chicks are not having an easy time.

OMG. Watching the Globes dance is classic! They are super tall compared to the old Dutch folks and they are totally getting the dance. Big Easy is adding his hip hop flare to the dance and watching them is hillarious. They rock! They finish the dance and all of the people are clapping and cheering. Such hams, these guys! :) Now they have to eat the herring. Big Easy sucks it down and Flight Time looks ill.

Team USA is running (not biking!). Poker Chicks are having problems with the golf. BUT, they couldn't hit the high strike, so they are stuck golfing. Farmers make the second hole. Poker Chicks give up and head back to the Dance. They are going to just try to hit the high strike. Hmmm.

Big Easy finished his herring and Flight Time is getting it done. Big Easy interviews that he finished his in two bites and asks Flight Time how he did. Flight Time says he's not talking about it. HA! These two are awesome. They finish and get the next clue and head to the pit stop. As they walk out, Flight Time says that he's not talking about it and wants the camera out of his face and then all of sudden, he smiles and says "Did you see me gettin' down, though?" and starts dancing in his Dutch dress. HAHA! Globes might be my second favorite team. Love them.

Team USA is still walking. UGH. Not good. Poker Chicks are back at the Dance and trying to hit the high strike. They are on attempts 32 and 33. The mallet thing must be super heavy because they are barely getting the bell up the pole. At that rate, they will NEVER hit the high strike. The Poker Chicks are really getting frustrated so they decide to hug it out. They hug and cry and try to motivate each other. They shake it off, dry their tears and try again.

Team USA FINALLY re-read the clue and realize they were supposed to get bicycles. Of course, Miss America has to yell at Brian "The least you could do, is be compassionate!" Jeez.

The Globes are the third team to the pit stop.

The Farmers make it into hole #3 and head back across the creek. The Poker Chicks are still trying to hit the high mark. Ok, Maria is contributing NOTHING to her team. She barely hits it. Lame. Team USA continue walking. Brian asks Miss America if she wants to give up. She says no and proceeds to complain about her ailments. Brian complains, too, but she isn't giving him any credit because she's done more work than he has today. UGH! Tiffany hits the bell again and ALMOST hits the high strike. Miss America is still complaining. Poker Chicks give up AGAIN and go back to Farmers' Game.

Farmers are the fourth team to the pit stop.

Poker Chicks are going across the lake AGAIN. Team USA makes it to Farmers' Dance and Brian hits the high strike easily, of course. WOW. I can't believe Team USA may beat Poker Chicks. Although, I don't remember Team USA never got their bikes. Team USA successfully completes the dance and now must eat the herring. They eat the herring and ask some people if they can borrow their bikes to the next pit stop. I wonder if they'll get penalized for not using the bikes to get to the Dance. They ride their borrowed bikes to the next pit stop. Poker Chicks are still having difficulties golfing although they claim they are improving. I'm actually cheering for the Poker Chicks. Team USA is seriously annoying.

Team USA is the fifth team to arrive. They are SHOCKED. However...they have incurred a 30 minute penalty for not riding their bikes to the detour. Something tells me that the Poker Chicks won't complete their challenge in 30 minutes. Miss America is FREAKING out while Team USA waits out their time.

Team USA is officially team #5.

Phil comes out to Farmers' Game to meet Poker Chicks. They've given up by this point. Phil tells them that he understands that they are quitting the race. Tiffany says that they don't want to quit the race but they don't foresee being able to complete the challenge. They know this means that they will be eliminated.

Poker Chicks are eliminated from the race.

See you next week!
