RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins, Episode 7

Last time: The teams are tied after Veronica and Cyrus lost the Ruins.

The girls are all swimming and Bananas and Evan join them. Interesting...with Casey, KA, Kim, Sarah, Susie and Johanna being the only girls left, no one is sloppy drunk or naked in the pool. BUT, they decide to play "Truth or Dare." Good times.

Kenny says to Susie "Would you or would you not F*** Cohutta?" Susie says "Yeah. Sure." Cohutta totally perks up. He's totally got a crush on Susie. HA! Someone dares Sarah to bite Bananas' nipple. She does it. Kenny dares Kim to get naked and run around the pool. Instead, she takes off her top and flashes everyone before jumping in the pool. Kim says that Sarah is flirting with Kenny. Sarah tells us that she was not flirting and that she hasn't done anything with anyone. Kenny tells us that it's inevitable for all the girls to want him because most women do. Ass. Kenny dares Casey to get on a table, moon everyone and then jump in the pool. She does.

Evan and Kenny go back to the house and they hear what sounds like two animals wrestling, so they investigate. They go upstairs and hear giggling and moaning and they bust open the bathroom door to find Kim topless in there with DUNBAR. HAHA. Busted. Kim claims that she was talking strategy.

The Champions are talking about the fact that Brad is realizing what a mistake it was not getting rid of Casey sooner. Casey goes to Brad and asks what her odds are. Evan tells her that if the Champions win, she's not going in. Evan tells US that "Casey is nervous. Chihuahuas are nervous because they are small and can get stepped on. Casey feels the same way. She doesn't have an athletic bone in her body. As long as Casey is on their team, we can't lose." True dat.

The Challengers (minus Casey) are talking about sending Casey in if they win. Sarah says that Casey is good for team morale, but Brad and Dunbar say that it's not a cheerleading squad or a sing-a-long, it's a competition for $120K.

[Commercial: STFU!! There's a show called JERSEY SHORE coming to MTV on Dec 3rd. Get ready for a whole new crazy. That's going to be awesome.]

Susie and Johanna are stressed out a little about being the only girls left. Susie asks if Johanna wouldn't mind going in. Johanna agrees. Challengers are asking them to throw the challenge because that's the only way the girls on the Champions will go in the Ruins against Casey. HAH!

THE CHALLENGE

Nominations:

Champions: Johanna, Susie, Darrell, Evan and Kenny
Challengers: Sarah, Casey, Kim, Brad, Dunbar and Cohutta

The Game: "Rotary Club" - [Cohutta: "My hillbillie self knows automatically that you're gonna be rollin your happy ass down this hill in a huge tractor tire which is not fun." LOVE HIM!] TJ confirms it. Team members are going to get into the tractor tire and roll themselves down the hill into the endzone. Once in the endzone, the team member must roll the tire up the hill for the next team member. All 7 team members must do it. One team member must be a "tracker" so that if one team member gets off-course before the endzone, the tracker can help put them back on track.

Evan is the "tracker" for the Champions and Brad is the "tracker" for the Challengers. Challengers are up first. Cohutta is first. It kind of looks fun, but it's bouncing so much it probably hurts. Kim is next and screams the whole time. Next up is KA. That is a heavy-ass tire. Casey is next and also screams the whole time. The hardest part for Casey is pushing the tire up the hill. Susie says it's a total joke watching Casey and kind of sad. Sarah is next followed by Dunbar. Brad is now up and Cohutta tracks him. They finish and Champions are now up. Johanna is first. Susie is second and it looks painful. Derrick is next, followed by Bananas. Then Darrell is up and Kenny and Evan, who says he feels like a fat kid in a little coat. HAHAHA.

And the winner is: The CHAMPIONS!

Deliberations: Darrell picks Cohutta. Johanna picks Sarah. She decides that if she picks Casey and loses, it would be a HUGE embarassment.

Sarah and Susie have a boring conversation about the power of positive thinking. YAWN. Bring one of the crazies back. Cohutta is feeling nervous about The Ruins. He's so cute. Johanna feels pretty checked out. I think she's saying that because she doesn't want to be all psyched and work hard and then lose.

This show is boring now that all the drama queens have left.

Evan interviews: "Johanna, how much do you want to be here? Sarah wants to be here as much as a fat kid loves cake." HAHA.

THE RUINS

"Crunch" - Each player will be hanging from bamboo - over a dunk tank - in the "crunch" position with 40lbs of weight on their chest. The object is not to drown. Sweet. If a team member wants out, they pull their emergency release and they're done. The person who lasts the longest wins.

Johanna v. Sarah

Johanna is struggling. She keeps dunking herself under and repositioning. Sarah is calmly hanging on. Johanna pulls the emergency release and ... SARAH WINS.

Darrell v. Cohutta

They both are doing ok. Cohutta starts to struggle and pulls the release. DARRELL WINS. :(

Cohutta says that there's nothing good about losing until he sees his "Susie" and she gives him a hug. Everyone tells her to kiss him and she gives a smooch on the lips and he's so happy!! I think they would make a very cute couple...except she's a little too academic for him. But they are both so sweet.

Back at the house, Brad is lecturing Casey about stepping up. He says that he doesn't see her on the treadmill or working out, he sees her smoking cigarettes and drinking booze. He's not seeing any effort. Casey doesn't give a shit. Brad says it bothers him that she feels like she deserves to go to the end with no effort and drag her team down.

See you next time.

The City, Season Two, Episode 20

Last time on The City: Freddie and Olivia suck.

People's Revolution. Kelly walks in and wants to know why everyone is so happy. Then she points out an article that says "Gift cards lose cache as anxious consumers opt to buy the basics" which apparently is the kiss of death for fashion. Roxy asks Whit for a pen and Kelly is NOT in the mood. She tells Roxy that she's in a staff meeting so she should have a pen and paper! HELLO? Duh! Kelly reminds everyone that there's a recession going on and people are getting fired all over the place. But People's Revolution is growing. And in order to keep growing and not fire people, they need to bring pens to meetings and STEP IT UP. Kelly is in full on "bitch mode" this morning. Ouch. Mara Hoffman is a swimsuit designer who is showing her stuff at Miami Fashion Week and a team has been assembled to go down there. Kelly says that Whit should go, too and she can bring her trainee, Roxy, but wants to lay down some ground rules. They aren't going to eat at fancy restaurants and expect Kelly to pay. Not happening. Eat like you would in New York and don't bring back any receipts. And...scene.

OPENING CREDITS

"Friends and Foe-Workers"

Elle Magazine. Olivia has been bonding with the flat iron this morning. Joe talks to Olivia about Miami Fashion Week and wants to send her as the sole accessories editor to go down there and cover it. Joe says that the blog thing last week was a learning experience and Olivia agrees. He says that Elle is hosting a big party so Erin is going down to Miami to do that, but he really needs Olivia to take the lead on covering fashion week. Hmmm...

W Hotel, South Beach, Miami. Whit and Roxy walk into a fabulous suite and Roxy says the place is begging them to have a party. Whit says she wishes they were on vacay. Roxy says that they are on vacay. No, Roxy, you're not. Roxy wants to go lay out and Whit tells her that they have to get ready for the casting. Roxy's response: I'm starving. Jeez. Roxy says she wants to order room service and Whit suggests they get something on their way out so they don't charge anything to the room. Roxy rolls her eyes. I have to give Whit props for trying to keep Roxy focused. Good luck, Whit.

La'Guardia Airport, Queens, NY. Olivia and Erin board the plane (first class, of course) and head to Miami. Erin asks Olivia if she's looking forward to Miami and Olivia says she is. Then Erin asks if Olivia is going to the trade shows and Olivia says she's not. She's only going to the shows on her list. Erin looks like she thinks that's a bad idea but doesn't say anything. Olivia asks Erin if she has any friends in Miami and Erin says yes and then asks the same of Olivia. Olivia tells her that Whit from People's Revolution will be there for the Mara Hoffman Show. Olivia says she might try to catch up with her. Olivia is VBI (very busy & important) so she may not have time. [insert eye roll here]

Mara Hoffman Casting Session, The Raleigh Hotel, Miami. Mara and Kelly are casting and they are so harsh. I mean, these girls put on bikinis and chose this profession, so I guess it is what it is. But, ouch. Roxy wants to go out, but Whit says she needs to check in with the designer to make sure she's ok. So Roxy tells Whit to check in with Mara, they'll make a list and then GO OUT!! I predict Roxy will be on an upcoming Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

The Florida Room, Miami. Nick (Whit's friend) is there doing some weird white boy dance. Roxy and Whit show up and they get their drink on. Nick asks Roxy where she went to college and Roxy says "Harvard". I assume she's kidding, because Nick says "Me too." Then Roxy says she's not a good student and Nick says he's not either. Nick makes fun of Whit for being a good student and saying she never wants to go out because she's always studying. They all go out and dance and Whit says she'll be right back and - I assume - goes to the bathroom. Nick starts hitting on Roxy. Roxy asks Nick if he wants to go somewhere else and they totally leave Whit. Whit cames back - from the bathroom, I assume - and Nick and Roxy are gone. RUDE.

Mara Hoffman Fashion Show, The Raleigh Hotel. Whit shows up and Kelly asks where Roxy is. Whit doesn't know. Interesting...so Roxy didn't come back to the hotel last night. Dirty. Everyone is getting ready backstage. Olivia is at the show and Whit comes out to greet her. Whit takes her backstage to show her all the accessories. Whit introduces Olivia to Mara and Olivia asks what her inspiration was for the collection. Mara says "Vision Quest". WTF? Weirdo. Whit describes it as "futuristic hippie". Hmmm, not sure that's better. Olivia goes back out and sits with Erin. Roxy comes in ... LATE ... and walks up to Whit. Whit asks her what happened to her last night and Roxy looks confused. Whit says that she told her she would be right back and Roxy was gone when she came back. Roxy says that she couldn't find Whit and didn't know where she went. LIAR. Roxy didn't even THINK about Whit when she asked Nick if he wanted to go somewhere else. They are fighting about what happened. Whit says she told her she'd be right back (which she did) and Roxy says she didn't hear that and couldn't find Whit. Mara and Kelly are noticing the fight which is TOTALLY unprofessional and completely embarassing to Kelly. Whit asks why she didn't call her and Roxy says she lost her cell phone two days ago. Kelly comes up and says "Are you guys arguing? What the fuck is going on here? There are 700 million things that have to go on. If you guys have a problem, take it outside. This is not fucking group therapy. I don't want to see this shit anymore. For real. I've got enough problems going on here." Go Kelly. I love her. Have I said that before? She's my hero. Whit goes with Kelly and helps her direct. Roxy stays to help out backstage. The show goes great. Mara comes out at the end and Kelly tells Whit that's going to be her someday. Sweet. Kelly tells everyone they did a great job.

Elle After Party, W Hotel. OMG. There are models posing on blocks that say ELLE on them in the pool. Dumb. Olivia is talking to her friend, Red Carter (a designer) and Erin tells her colleague from Elle that she hopes Olivia is getting some exclusives. The colleague (i must have missed the name) asks Erin what she thinks of Olivia. Erin says that she hasn't been impressed, but Olivia could pull something off. She says that Olivia needs to get exclusives and make sure they are right for Elle. Erin is skeptical. And so am I. Erin says that she wasn't taking any notes at the Mara Hoffman show, but she doesn't know. Maybe Olivia has a plan. Erin says that if she didn't go to trade shows that's going to be a huge problem. Erin goes to talk to Olivia to see how she did. Olivia says she got a lot of stuff. She didn't go to any trade shows because she had appointments and other shows, blah, blah, blah. Erin asks if she has a lot to show Joe and Olivia says she does. Erin tells Olivia that she's excited to see what she has and Olivia says "Thanks" in a very snarky, sarcastic voice. Erin goes back to her colleague and they laugh that Olivia didn't go to any trade shows and that Joe is going to freak out. Ok, you KNOW I don't like Olivia, but why didn't Erin tell Olivia on the plane that she should try and go to some trade shows? Then, if Olivia STILL didn't go, Erin can say she encouraged Olivia, but Olivia ignored her. Now, Erin looks like a bitch for not "mentoring" Olivia by telling her that she should go. I get that she wants Olivia to fail. But, if she had encouraged her, Olivia would not have gone and would have failed anyway. Dumb.

Elle Magazine. It looks like a staff meeting run by Joe. He asks what everyone saw at Miami Fashion Week. Erin talks about the Lycra after party for Elle and that the trip was a HUGE success press-wise. She says she went to tons of trade shows and met with publicists and model agents and it was great! Olivia says that she went to a few shows and saw a lot of futuristic looks. Um, that was just the Mara Hoffman show. Then she says that one-pieces and turbins dominated the runways. Joe asks what trends Olivia saw at the trade shows. She stutters that she only went to the fashion shows. Joe asks why she didn't go to the trade shows?? Olivia says that honestly she didn't know about the trade shows. LIAR. Erin says that she asked Olivia about the trade shows on the plane. Olivia says that she told Erin she only had fashion shows on her schedule and Erin says she should have scheduled trade shows. Olivia says she didn't know about the trade shows at all. So Joe tells everyone else to leave except Olivia and Erin.

Joe says that, as an editor, you have to go and see EVERYTHING. Olivia said that maybe she and Erin could have worked together and gone to trade shows together. Erin says that she had her own job to do which didn't leave time for anything else. Joe says - exasperatedly - from day one, he has told Erin she is supposed to show Olivia the ropes and she should have told Olivia that she needs to go to the trade shows. See? Didn't I tell you this would happen? Erin could have easily told Olivia that on the plane. Erin says she can only do so much and that she's tried to reach out to Olivia. Joe tells Erin not to be defensive. Joe says he doesn't want any bickering or personality conflicts. Joe says that he's telling them both that he wants them to work together. Olivia agrees that she would very much like that. Joe says a team gets things done more easily and a team is much stronger than an individual. Olivia is happy. Erin is not.

People's Revolution. Kelly walks in and tells Roxy and Whit that the fighting backstage was beyond a huge embarassment for her. Kelly says that she doesn't work with her friends because it doesn't usually work. So she tells them to consider whether being friends and working together is actually going to benefit them in their careers. Roxy tells Whit "She didn't say one nice thing" as Kelly walks away. Kelly totally overhears and says "OOOHHHH. Well you know what, call me like a controlling bitch for wanting us to be professional and deal with the media instead of having whatever...i don't even know what you guys were fighting about. If it happens again, you guys can go find another job. I have better things to do." Oh dang!!! Roxy, wait until Kelly is OUT OF THE ROOM before you start talking shit. JEEZ! Kelly sits at her desk and yells out "Were you guys in Room 615?" Whit: "Yes." Kelly: "What is this bill for like $200? I'm sorry at your level, I give you guys $50 a day per diem. That's $50 and $50, you owe me $100. I'll take it out of your pay. Go to Taco Bell next time. What planet are you living on?" Roxy says "someone's PMSing" and Whit just shakes her head and puts her head in her hands. [FYI - Kelly, "a day per diem" is redundant. "Per diem" means "a day". Just sayin'.]

See you next week.

The Hills, Season 5, Episode 517

Last time on The Hills: Audrina and Kristin had a "confrontation", Kristin dumped JB because she doesn't "do excuses" and Sponge Bob is still a tool.

Vinoteque, LA. Brody and Kristin are having dinner. Brody calls her "Mrs. Bobby". Heh. She tells him that JB is long gone and she's onto the next. She immediately asks what is up with Jayde. Brody says he doesn't talk to her, so Kristin asks what he can or cannot do. Brody tells her she's being flirtatious and Kristin says that as far as she's concerned, Brody is single. Bad things are going to happen. I can feel it.

OPENING CREDITS

"On To The Next"

Speidi's House. Heidi and Enzo are playing with Heidi's new puppies. Heidi has serious issues. Sponge Bob comes out and she tells him AGAIN that she wants a baby and a family. LET IT GO. You just got married...give it some time. Jeez. I get it. He doesn't want kids and you do. But give it time or get divorced. This is painful and annoying to watch. He tells her she's being selfish for not considering his feelings and he got her these puppies who are their little babies. Heidi gets pissed that he keeps comparing the puppies to babies. They are not the same. Sponge Bob tells Heidi that they can talk about it in 10 years - which is not a bad idea since they will be 31/32. Heidi yells "NO" because she wants a baby RIGHT NOW. Oh good lord. Seriously? They got married 2 months ago. I hate to do this, but I kind of agree with Sponge Bob. They are too young and they JUST got married. Wait a few years. Make sure that you really want to procreate with SPONGE BOB. What's the rush?? If she went to college and had a real job, she wouldn't be so desperate to have a baby to feel complete. Enzo comes up and says "Spender is mean. I don't like him." I LOVE IT...SPENDER!

Fratelli Cafe, Hollywood. Audrina and Lo are having lunch. Audrina tells Lo that she's going to see JB and she's feeling torn. See, this is the problem with girls. They over-analyze and over-prepare for something that might not be in their control. She feels a spark with JB, but isn't sure if she wants to get back together. What if HE doesn't want to get back together?? It would make this whole conversation/over-analysis session completely moot. Girls are dumb sometimes. Lo tells Audrina to be careful because she doesn't want to have to give JB another nickname. Heh.

Kristin's House. Kristin is telling BS that she's sick of her clothes and models some outfit and asks BS what she thinks. BS tells her she looks like a power ranger. HAHA! Kristin tells BS that she went on a date with Brody and it was easy and fun and she had a great time. BS says that Brody has always had a thing for Kristin and then asks Kristin if she thinks it's a rebound thing. Kristin says it's probably easier going through this break with Kristin around but she doesn't think it's a rebound since she and Brody have been "friends FOREVER." She's such a rebound.

Linda's House (Brody's mom's house). Linda gushes over Kristin. It's mutual. Kristin tells Linda she is the BEST MOM of a boyfriend. Linda tells Kristin that she's adorable, too. Apparently, Brody gave Kristin a dog, Bentley, when they were together. But somehow, Linda inherited him. Then Linda asks if anything is going on that she should know about and Kristin and Brody both say no. Then Linda tells them that they make such a cute couple. I never really liked her, but poor Jayde. How f'ed up is it for your boyfriend's mom to be gushing all over his ex-girlfriend while you're still technically with him. I mean, they are "on a break" but not broken up for good, right? Weird ... and sad.

Los Angeles. Sponge Bob and his friend, Charlie, are walking to a Urologist's office because Sponge Bob is considering "cutting off his nuts". While I don't think it's a bad idea because the thought of Sponge Bob procreating is disgusting to me, this is not something to consider without consulting your wife who is DESPERATE to have a baby. Sponge Bob goes in and thinks that a Vasectomy is like a faucet that you turn off and then on again when you're ready to have a baby. Dr. Safir sets him straight. He tells Sponge Bob that a Vasectomy is considered a permanent procedure since the procedure to "undo" it is not guaranteed to work. Dr. Safir goes through the procedure with visual aids and Sponge Bob decides not to go through with it. He didn't realize it was permanent and he's not ok with that.

Playhouse, Hollywood. Brody, Kristin, BS and Taylor (Brody's friend) are all at Playhouse having a good time. Kristin asks what they are doing and Brody says they are hanging out. Brody asks Kristin if she sees a future with him and she asks if he sees a future with Jayde. Brody says he can't predict the future. In walks Jayde and her playmate entourage because apparently Playhouse is the only club in Hollywood! Jayde and her "girls" sit down and then encourage Jayde to go say something. So they all get up and Jayde comes up to Brody and asks him: "What the F*** are you doing?"

Brody: "I'm having drinks with friends."
Jayde: "We're on a break. You don't just date other people."
Brody: "I'm not dating anybody. We're just hanging out."

I wonder how Kristin must feel knowing that every guy she's dated so far refuses to admit that he is dating her. HA. For some stupid reason, Kristin stands up and tells the girls to all go away. Brody, correctly, tells her not to get involved. Too late.

Kristin: "Get your friends outta here."

"Don't push me." "Bitch." I'm not sure who said what but there is fighting and drama and yelling. HAHA. Brody yells for them to stop causing drama.

Kristin: "Jayde, you and your f***ing friends need to get the f*** out of here." Why? Kristin STFU. It's NONE of your business. Brody pushes Kristin out of the way and tells his buddy to hold her back. Brody tells Jayde "Stop it. This is about you being so psycho. That's exactly why we broke up."

Kristin: "Get the f*** out of here."
Jayde: "Are you f****** kidding me?"
Kristin: "F*** you, Jayde."

Brody calls Jayde "crazy" and they all leave Jayde and her playmates behind. Now, I definitely think Jayde should NOT have approached Brody. She could've left quietly and called him the next day. That being said, Kristin sucks. She should NOT have gotten involved. You know Brody is going to get back together with Jayde and then it's going to be super awkward with Kristin and Jayde. Dumb.

Kristin's House. It's hard to tell if Brody spent the night or just arrived this morning. I feel like he might have spent the night because Kristin doesn't offer him coffee. Instead, as she's walking downstairs, she yells "Brody, do you need coffee?" That sounds like a "morning after" shout out. Kristin brings up the craziness from last night. Brody feels guilty and says they shouldn't have even gone there together. Kristin says that if that's going to happen every time they go out, then she doesn't want to deal. Um, whatever, Kristin. YOU CAUSED THE DRAMA. Brody could have gone outside and talked to Jayde. It only escalated when Kristin got involved. Dumb girls bother me. Brody wants to know why everything is so complicated and no one is even married. Oh, Brody...you keep dating dumb girls, that's why! Kristin says that she doesn't want to get in a relationship again if she's going to get hurt because Brody is going to get back together with Jayde. Brody says, as of right now, there's no chance in hell. He's 100% certain. He's an idiot and she's dumber than she looks if she believes him.

Speidi's House. Enzo and Sponge Bob are playing tennis on the Wii. Enzo says that he likes playing with Spender and Sponge Bob says that they should only play together once a week, not everyday. Sponge Bob tells Charlie that he hasn't told Heidi about the doctor visit. Enzo asks if Spender is sick and why he went to the doctor. Kids are not stupid. In walks Heidi and Enzo spills the beans...Sponge Bob went to the doctor. So, Heidi asks why he went to the doctor and Charlie takes Enzo outside. Sponge Bob tells Heidi that he heard of some 7 minute procedure that was temporary but was basically a vasectomy. But he found out it was permanent and didn't do it. Heidi is PISSED. She tells Sponge Bob that she never lies to him and he says that he didn't lie. Heidi says that he kept it from her which is a lie. Sponge Bob disagrees. He says a lie is when someone asks you something and you don't tell the truth. True, Sponge Bob, but Heidi is talking about a lie of omission. Heidi says that not telling your wife something that's life changing and that important is lying. I'm with her. She's so dramatic. She says "You knew I wanted kids when you married me. So it looks like marrying me was the biggest mistake you ever made." DRAMA...

Cayenne, Los Angeles. Audrina meets up with JB to tell him that she might be willing to try again. UGH. Audrina comes in and tells JB he looks good and he says ... nothing. Not a good sign. Then she word vomits on him. She likes him and it would be amazing if they could work things out and get back together, but they have a lot of working out to do, blah, blah, blah. JB's response "I don't know, kiddo." Yikes. Audrina says she's cold and JB tells her that he can't offer her his jacket because he doesn't have anything on under it. WHAT? You can't find a clean T-Shirt? Dumb. Audrina asks why JB wasn't at Heidi's birthday party and JB said that he knew Audrina and Kristin were both going to be there and he wanted to avoid conflict. Audrina asks if he's still with Kristin, JB shrugs and Audrina says that she thought Kristin was with Brody now because they came to the party together. JB kind of smirks and says "yeah." Audrina says "sorry" and JB tells her that she doesn't seem sincere. They kind of bicker a little. Then JB gets annoyed and tells Audrina that she told him to leave her alone, so he did. Then he starts seeing someone and Audrina starts dating one of JB's friends. So he asks Audrina what she wants. She says that she thought they were cool after the last conversation, but she hasn't heard from JB. Then JB drops a bomb. The reason he agreed to meet her tonight was to finalize something that isn't there between JB and Audrina. He should have stopped there. But, he didn't. He tells Audrina that she pushed him away which is why he was pushed into Kristin. And Kristin did something to him and he had something with her that he never felt with Audrina. So, basically, this is Audrina's fault. But really, who gives a shit!?!? Audrina, he's doing you a favor. Why would you even consider going back to this loser?? MOVE ON. So, Audrina is upset and gets up and leaves. She sits in her car, cries and then drives off. He's not worth your tears.

See you next week.

So You Think You Can Dance, 16 to 14 Results Show

This post will be brief because I have very little patience for "results shows".

The show starts off with what looks like an Afro-Hip Hop routine by Dave Scott. I just made that up, but they are all wearing tribal-wear and dancing to a hip hop song. Weird. it was ok. I don't know what it is, but I'm not terribly impressed with the Season 6 dancers. I thought last season had better dancers and better routines.

First three couples are up:

Ellenore & Ryan
Channing & Victor
Kathryn & Legacy

IN THE BOTTOM THREE: Ellenore & Ryan
SAFE: Channing & Victor, Kathryn & Legacy

Dominique (Season 3 & America's Best Dance Crew (QUEST)) is quizzing some audience members about their dance knowledge.

Cat Deeley has entirely TOO MUCH make-up on. Seriously.

Next three couples:

Ashleigh & Jakob
Po-LEEN & Peter
Noelle & Russell

IN THE BOTTOM THREE: Pauline & Peter
SAFE: Ashleigh & Jakob, Noelle & Russell

Last two couples:

Karen & Kevin
Mollee & Nathan

IN THE BOTTOM THREE: Karen & Kevin
SAFE: Mollee & Nathan (SHUT UP!! WOOT!)

Creepy thinks that if it was based purely on dance, America got it wrong. He lectures Nathan and tells him he will keep getting votes because he's cute not because he can dance. I agree that Nathan is adorable. But he's also an awesome dancer. He and Mollee had an off night. Creepy is way too hard on them.

Now we get a dance from the Alvin Alley American Dance school. It's an incredible dance. My only critique is that it's not graceful in any way. Maybe it's not supposed to be. But these dancers are SO cut and muscular, I can't ever see them looking graceful. It's just weird to me, that's all.

Now the bottom six dance for their lives.

Ellenore - Just ok
Ryan - It was entertaining. I think he's a strong dancer.
Pauline - Ok, but better than Ellenore
Peter - Tap routine...'nuf said.
Karen - she does some salsa dance. Hmmm. I guess it's good. I don't know.
Kevin - cool hip hop routine

Um, I think Cat has a huge beetle clip in her hair.

Ok, my thoughts: I like Ellenore best out of the girls, but I think her solo was the weakest. I don't like Pauline or Karen, so if one of them get cut, I'd be happy. For the guys, I think they were all strong in their own genres. I think Ryan is a strong dancer overall. I think Peter is a great tap dancer and an ok dancer overall. I think Kevin is great at hip hop, but just ok overall. However, I think Ryan's solo was the weakest.

Let's see if the jidges agree:

Creepy says that all the solos sucked. I agree.

The girls: Creepy tells Karen that America might be too intimidated by her beauty so she may not be getting votes. Um...WRONG. She's latin, that doesn't automatically make her hot. He tells Ellenore that she needs to bring up her competitive edge. Then he tells Pauline that she's ... GOING HOME!

The boys: Creepy tells Ryan that his last round-off in his solo sucked, but that his partner work is solid. Creepy tells Peter that he's not really a star and his star quality didn't come across in the solo either. Creepy tells Kevin that he's improving each week and they are keeping him. Creepy calls Peter again and tells him that he's ... GOING HOME.

Bye, Peter (the last "Tapper") and Po-LEEN!

SYTYCD, Top Sixteen Perform

Last week two of the tappers, Bianca and Phillip were eliminated.

Btw - I really hate the new stage. It's too big and busy.

Spirit Fingers, Screamer and Creepy are all back to judge. Paula Abdrool is still MIA. The Top 10 from Season 5 are all in the audience. WOOT!

The dancers were all asked to tell the audience something we don't know about them.

Karen & Kevin - THE HUSTLE

Karen tells us that she and her husband (who also tried out but didn't make it) are getting a divorce. :( Kevin tells us that he has traveled the world. Maria Torres is the choreographer and will be creating a dynamic story for us. Hmmm. I'm skeptical.

They are dancing to "Come to Me" by France Jodi. This dance looks like Disco Lite. It's like the slow part of "Last Dance" by Donna Summer and it gets a little faster, but not like the crazy disco dances that Doriana Sanchez choreographs. I also didn't really see the Hustle at all. Maybe I wasn't supposed to see it, but I was expecting it. I thought it was kind of boring. I'm going to change Spirit Fingers to Chatty Cathy. MY GOD, does that guy like to hear himself talk. He raved, Screamer raved, Creepy raved. I completely disagree. They were...ok.

Ashleigh & Jakob - JAZZ

Ashleigh tells us that she is a big nerd because she "studied" political science and history and lived in the library at college. I wonder why she didn't tell us where she went to college and if she graduated. Interesting ... Jakob tells us that one of his best friends was on SYTYCD last season and it's ... JANINE!!! The WINNER! Mandy Moore is choreographing a jazz routine for these two and they are using a cane.

They are dancing to "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. I find that I'm distracted by Ashleigh's super tight and weirdly shiny spandex pants and little half boots. So werid. I thought it was good, but again...a little boring. Jakob is so great. I love him. I feel like he makes Ashleigh look good, but that's just because she bugs me. Chatty Cathy thinks that it was great (I think...I tuned out), Screamer raves and so does Creepy. It was ok...I wasn't blown away.

Pauline & Peter - QUICKSTEP

Peter tells us that he volunteers as a choreographer for people with special needs. Pauline tells us that she eats A LOT. JT & Tomas are choreographing this "kiss of death" dance. It's the dance all contestants hate and always get wrong.

They are dancing to "Hey Baby! (Shake Those Hula Hips)" by Big Kahuna & The Copa Cat Pack. I thought they did a good job. It was fun. It was very "broadway". Sort of cheesy. Chatty Cathy said that he thought it was fun and a great performance. Then he makes fun of Cat for how she says Pauline (Po-LEEN). HA! Screamer thinks they pulled it off and attacks the technicality. Who cares, right? Creepy says they were not technically good, but their performance was fantastic. I thought it was ok. Again, not blown away.

Kathryn & Legacy - BROADWAY

Kathryn tells us that she went on a mission to Costa Rica and she loves helping people. Legacy LOVES soccer and was supposed to be a professional soccer player but he fell in love with dance. Andy Blankenbeuhler is the choreographer.

They are dancing to "I Wanna Be Like You" by Swinging Fireballs. Ooh. It's the song from Jungle Book. :) It totally looked like they were making out at the end. This show needs a little more drama. I thought it was very cute and I enjoyed it. Chatty Cathy didn't love it. He wanted them to get into their characters more. Screamer thinks Legacy overshadowed Kathryn. Hmmm. Creepy also trashes Kathryn. I thought they did good.

Channing & Victor - CONTEMPORARY

Victor tells us that he used to be a hardcore Gothic Rocker and there are pictures! Channing tells us that she used to race...wait for it...lawn mowers. I'm not kidding. Stacey Tookey is the choreographer. I hope this is good. Ooooh...it's about a toxic relationship. Those usually make good dances.

They are dancing to "Be Be Your Love" by Rachael Yamagata. Good song. I just got chills. Love this song. Love the dancing. Chills. So good. I thought that was a great dance. And, I thought they both did very well. Chatty Cathy really liked it. Screamer and Creepy agreed. GREAT JOB!

Ellenore & Ryan - HIP HOP

Ellenore tells us she is 6 different ethnicities. She's Mexican, African American, American Indian, Italian, Hawaiian and Phillipino. Ryan tells us that he's an extreme sports junkie and secretly wants to be a superhero in an action movie. Lil C is the choreographer and he'll be putting together something BUCK...or not.

They are dancing to "Lost Boiz Anthem" by Tha J-Squad. Hmmm. I feel like Ryan is trying too hard. They are mostly together. I just feel like he's exaggerating too much. Chatty Cathy liked it. Eh. Screamer said it got a little sluggish for her and I actually agree. She also says she liked it but she doesn't want to scream. THANK GOD! Creepy said he didn't think it was good AT ALL. Wow. I wouldn't say they were BAD. I just thought it looked a little off.

Mollee & Nathan - SALSA

Mollee tells us that she's deaf in her left ear. Nathan tells us that he loves to jet ski. Gustavo Vargas is the choreographer. I bet they do a great job. They might be my favorite couple...and not just because Nathan is so dreamy. Ok, maybe it is. Whatever. I still like this couple!

They are dancing to "Quimbara" by Celia Cruz & Johnny Pacheco. Wow. Mollee is in a hot yellow number that looks like pieces of cloth sewn together to cover her girly bits. And Nathan has slick hair. They look like they are from Dirty Dancing Havana Nights. The white American girl and the Cuban local. Very sexy...although, they looked a little awkward. Chatty Cathy was disappointed. He thought they were awkward, too. Screamer agreed...she said it wasn't "sexified", it was "french fried". WTF? She didn't think it was good, either. Creepy agreed. They did look uncomfortable and awkward. Not good. BUT, I love them and I hope they'll be safe.

Noelle & Russell - AFRO-JAZZ

Noelle tells us that she has a big family - 3 sisters and a brother. Hmmm. Russell tells us that he's an artist - he sketches. Choreographer Sean Cheesman tells us that Afro-Jazz is a mixture of African Technique and Jazz Technique minus the "jazz hands".

They are dancing to "Frog Dance" by Mickey Hart & Planet Drum. Cool. They did this somersault thing that was super cool. I think they did a great job. It's not really my favorite style of dancing, but they executed well. Good job! Chatty Cathy tries to make a joke and it falls flat. HA! He keeps going...I think he liked it. Screamer says "that was crazy" and when Cat asks her if it was crazy good or crazy bad, Screamer yells "CRAZY GOOD!". Why are all these judges so annoying? Creepy agrees. I thought it was great.

All in all, not a great night of performances. I liked Channing and Victor's Contemporary dance the best, followed by Noelle & Russell's Afro-Jazz. The rest were all kind of boring. The judges all agree that Ryan & Ellenore and Mollee & Nathan will be on the bottom. BOO!

We'll see what happens on the results show!!

Amazing Race 15 - Episode 8

Previously on the Amazing Race: Poker Chicks quit the race, Team USA was annoying and the Farmers are still my faves...followed closely by the Globes. Five teams remain...

Rainbow is the first team to depart ZoutKamp Harbour in The Netherlands at 9:33 p.m. and receive their first clue.

FIRST CLUE: Teams will now fly to Stockholm, Sweden. Once they land, they must travel by train and ferry to the Tivoli Grona Lund Amusement Park and find the Fritt Fall ride where they'll get their next clue.

Hmmm. It's 9:33 P.M. - I'm thinking this may be another bunching scenario at the airport.

Rainbow take off towards the airport and they crack me up. They are bickering and Sam's laughing at Dan's frustration. They're brothers...it happens. So cute.

Blondes depart next, 15 minutes after Rainbow. They've been together for over 4 years and Cheyne tells us that marriage is definitely in their future. Globes are third to depart and while Flight Time reads the clue, Big Easy is counting the money. It's Flight Time's birthday, so Globes would like "first place" today. Flight Time asks Big Easy if he wants to stop at the Red Light District on the way to the airport. HA! Farmers are 4th to leave and Gary says that he's motivated to do well because he's the oldest guy left. Matt says that his dad doesn't seem old because Matt's always trying to keep up with him. CUTE.

Rainbow arrives at Schipol Airport and look for tix to Sweden. The Blondes arrive next and discover that there are two flights to Sweden in the morning: 6:55 A.M. and 9:25 A.M. The Blondes run into Rainbow and tell them about the flights. They all decide that they need to get on that 6:55 flight. They camp out at the KLM ticket booth until it opens at 5:30 A.M.

Team USA finally departs at 1:38 A.M. from the Pit Stop. They are now driving the route that they WALKED in CLOGS the day before. But they think they looked good in their costumes, mmmkay. Hmmm.

Next morning at 5:30 A.M., Rainbow, Blondes and Globes get tix on the 6:55 A.M. flight to Stockholm. The Farmers walk up to the desk and they are told the flight is fully booked. NO!!!!!! Team USA is told the same thing. So, Team USA and Farmers are on the 9:25 A.M. flight. C'mon Farmers!!

The first flight arrives in Stockholm and it's a mad dash to the train into Stockholm City. The Blondes and Rainbow buy their tickets upstairs and race onto the train. Globes decide to get to the train first and then buy their tickets. The doors close before Globes can print their tix and they have to wait for the next train.

The second flight arrives in Stockholm. Globes get on the next train to Stockholm City. Rainbow and Blondes make it to the ferry and then to the amusement park and find the next clue.

ROADBLOCK: One person from each team must now ride the Fritt Fall. OMG!! This would be my favorite challenge next to the waterslide one!!! SO FUN! While riding they need to spot the arrow on top of a building pointing to their next clue box. The arrow is only visible for 15 seconds before the ride plunges 24 stories to the bottom. LOVE IT!

Sam and Cheyne are going on the ride. Sam spots the arrow.

Blondes and Rainbow are running through the park and find the next clue.

NEXT CLUE: Teams will now play a game of Roaming Gnome Ring Toss. Once a team has successfully thrown a ring on the giant hat, they will be given the Gnome under the hat with their next clue. They will need to keep the Travelocity Gnome with them until they reach the next pit stop.

Blondes and Rainbow easily master the ring toss and receive their Gnomes.

GNOME DETOUR: Sweden's history is well known for 1) Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite and 2) the Vikings. Teams must now pick between Nobel Dynamite and Viking Alphabet. In Dynamite, teams must fill sandbags and build a protective barrier in a rock quarry. Once protected, they'll set off an enormous explosion which will unearth a box containing their next clue. In Viking, teams must decode a message using the ancient Viking alphabet. Once they solve the message, they will locate the viking and receive their next clue.

Blondes and Rainbow decide to do Dynamite and head out.

Globes have made it across the ferry to the amusement park and found the clue. Flight Time will be going on the Fritt Fall because you can't be more than 6'4" to ride and Big Easy is too tall. Wah wah. Big Easy: "They should just put in the clue, 'Big Easy, you can't ride the Fritt Fall.'" HAHA! Flight Time finds the arrow and he's so excited!! They find the next clue and Flight Time is having trouble with the ring toss. Big Easy takes over and easily gets a gnome. Big Easy takes the gnome and says he's on "gnome duty". heh. They pick Dynamite and head out.

DAMMIT! Team USA made it on the next train and Farmers did not!! Farmers have to wait.

Blondes and Rainbow found some sucker to show them the way to Dynamite. Globes are in the car thinking of names for their Gnome. Flight Time says "Sweet Pea" and Big Easy says "that's lame". I kind of agree. Then Big Easy says "Louisiana Shorty" and Flight Time tells him "that's ghetto". HAHA. These guys crack me up. I think they finally decide on "Harlem Gnome".

Farmers are 15 minutes behind Team USA and make it on the next train. Team USA find the Fritt Fall ride and - since Brian is afraid of heights - Miss America will go on the ride. She finds the arrow and they head to the Gnome Toss. She also gets the ring on a hat and they get their gnome. Farmers make it to park and Matt easily spots the arrow as he goes up the Fritt Fall. They get their Gnome and head to Dynamite.

The Blondes, Rainbow and Globes are all at Dynamite. They have to wear protective helmets, goggles, ear phones and rubber boots. They are all filling sandbags and all I can hear is Meghan whining that Cheyne is not helping her. Rainbow finishes first and blows up their quarry. They run out to get their clue.

NEXT CLUE: Teams will now drive themselves to Bogs Gard Farm where teams will search for their next clue. OH NO!! The needle in a haystack roadblock!!!!

Rainbow heads out. Globes blow up next, get the clue and head out. The Blondes FINALLY finish and blow up their quarry. They get the clue and head out. As they drive away, Meghan tells Cheyne that they had awful teamwork and that she asked him about a thousand times to help her (I can vouch for that...I definitely heard her whiny voice about a thousand times). Cheyne tells her to move on because the task is OVER. She's frustrated and doesn't want to let it go. She tells him he didn't listen to her at all. I hear her, but it's over, move on. Seriously, the haystack roadblock is a freakin' nightmare. Save your frustration for that.

Team USA makes it to Dynamite.

Rainbow and Blondes make it to Bogs Gard Farm and find the clue box.

ROADBLOCK/PITSTOP: Teams must pick one teammate to unroll haystacks until they find a clue hidden in only 7 of the 180 haystacks.

Sam is doing it for Rainbow. Dan is yelling at Sam to unroll the haystack and tells him that they did it before in another season and one team did it for 8 hours. It was 10 hours actually. UGH. Blondes show up and Dan yells to Sam that the Blondes are there. Sam tells Dan to SHUT UP! Heh. Meghan asks Cheyne who he wants to do the roadblock and ... *crickets*. He tells US that he thinks Meghan should do it since she's taking the lead in this leg of the race. I actually think he doesn't want to hear her whining at him, so he'd rather her do it. She's still clearly irritated by him and says she'll just do it since he obviously doesn't want to do it. Ha! Dan is still yelling out "helpful hints" to Sam, so Sam looks at him and tells him "I need you to stop talking for 10 minutes" which totally shuts Dan up...temporarily. Heh. The Blondes are the opposite and Meghan tells Cheyne to keep talking to her. Globes show up and Big Easy does it. Dan is NOT listening and keeps screaming at Sam. ANNOYING.

Farmers get to Dynamite just as Team USA are finishing their wall. They blow up their quarry and head to Bogs Gard Farm. C'mon Farmers!! Farmers finish and head out.

Dan is still yelling at Sam from the sidelines. It's hillarious. Now I want to tell him to shut up. Sam flips him off and tells him to SHUT UP again. Seriously, Dan, stop talking. All the teams are struggling. It looks like a horrible roadblock. Big Easy says that they didn't have no hay in the projects. Heh! Team USA arrive at the roadblock followed by Farmers (it's hard to tell how far behind Team USA the Farmers were).

BIG EASY FINDS A FLAG!!!!! WOO HOO!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLIGHT TIME!! Flight Time is yelling that it's his birthday as Globes run to the Pit Stop. SO CUTE!!

Globes are Team #1 to the Pit Stop. They win a trip for two to the Turkes & Caicos. Woot! There's a band of three country people playing on the way to the pit stop and Globes are totally skipping and dancing with their gnome. LOVE IT!

Now it's time for my Farmers to step up!! C'mon guys. WOOT!! Brian goes for Team USA and the Farmers are right behind them. The Dad decides to do it. They are all struggling. Meghan is crying and losing it fast. Sam keeps yelling at Dan to SHUT UP. Brian finally tells Dan that it's harder than it looks. I think that did it because Dan decides to just keep quiet. FINALLY. Thank you, Brian.

Meghan finally finds it and she decides to surprise Cheyne. She runs over to him and says she can't do it anymore. She says "come on, let's go" and hands him the flag!!!

Blondes are Team #2.

Brian finds the flag for Team USA!

Team USA is Team #3.

Crap. Sam finds a flag.

Rainbow is Team #4. Dan totally has a breakdown. He feels horrible that he was being such a jerk and yelling at his brother. He's crying and hugs Sam.

After 2:45 minutes, Gary finds a flag!! He refused to quit the race and found the damn flag!

Farmers are the last team to the Pit Stop. YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!! It's a NON ELIMINATION ROUND!!! WOO HOO!! The Farmers are still in it. I feel like crying. I love this team!!!

See you next week!

Real Housewives OC, Season 5, Episode 1

Last Season:

Vicki - Her "love tank" was empty and Donn wasn't doing it for her anymore. She totally humiliated him by calling him Mr. Vicki Gulvanson in front of friends.

Jeanna - She was a little lonely and had just started dating at the end of the season.

Lynn - She was the "airhead" who joined the case last season. She's SUPER laid back and "friends" with her kids. She also has a jewelry line.

Gretchen - Her sugar-daddy fiance, Jeff, passed away at the end of the season after a long battle with cancer. She bounced back and went wild.

Tamra - She's kind of the "mean girl" of the group. She got Gretchen "naked drunk" at her dinner party and then pawned her off on her over-excited son. At the reunion show, she accused Gretchen of cheating on her ailing fiance.

Now we're back!! Let's see what the ladies are up to this season.

VICKI

Vicki's kids are taking her SKY DIVING!!! Awesome. I would LOVE to do this with my mom. I just went for the first time over the summer and I think everyone should try it at least once. SO FUN!! Vicki tells us that she and her kids are doing great. They are finished with school and doing well for themselves and she's very proud. She should be. They are great kids. Michael can be a little too Frat Boy for me, but they're both good kids. Vicki is totally freaking out. She's such a drama queen. She's terrified. But, she did it. Awesome.

JEANNA

Jeanna is really suffering from the recession. The real estate market is BAD. Her income is WAY down and she's hurting for money. I guess she doesn't have any savings. She's talking to Colton and he's reprimanding her about her spending habits. She's selling her house for $5.5 million, but she's not sure it will sell.

TAMRA

Tamra is having a red carpet party for her daughter, Sydney's theater class. She's got a red carpet laid out and the other parents are paparazzi and people are screaming for them. Tamra's friend, Ricki, is there and they are joking around and they both mention "T-bagging" which is an "adult" word. Simon gets upset and tells them that they are being inappropriate. He has a point. Not ok for a kid's party. Simon continues to be a wet blanket the entire party. Wow...serious tension between Simon and Tamra. She hugs him and tells him to relax and he tells her not to tell him to relax. Everything she does irritates him. Not a good sign.

GRETCHEN

Gretchen is now dating Slade Smiley. You may remember him as Jo's ex-fiance from Season 1 and the guy who was banging ... er, I mean, dating Laurie in Season 2. Who names their kid "Slade". His name just sounds slimy. Gretchen says that she and Slade have been friends for 8 years. Then, one day, they asked themselves why they weren't dating, so they decided to date. Gretchen believes that Jeff - her late fiance - brought her Slade. Is she serious?? It's really hard to understand the "love" Gretchen had for Jeff. He was SO much older than she is and he got sick almost immediately after they started to date. I believe that she brought him joy at a time when he really needed it. She's fun, beautiful, young, outgoing. It probably made him happy to shower her with expensive gifts. But, I think she cared for him like a dad. I find it hard to believe that they were "intimate" that much since he got sick right away. I do believed she cared for him and loved him as a close friend or father figure. I just cannot believe she loved him like a real fiance. It's easy to profess your eternal love for someone who showers you with $$ and diamonds AND who you know is terminally ill. Hello?? Anna Nicole Smith?? I digress.

Slade and Gretchen are cleaning out the closet at Jeff's place. She has a crapload of stuff all in the garage and his kids probably told her to get rid of it! Slade calls it all junk and suggests they leave the garage door open and leave for a few hours. Heh. Gretchen interviews that she knows people will have an opinion about her dating so soon after Jeff's death, but she met Slade and they just fell in love. Um...I thought you "met" him 8 years ago, Gretchen. Details. She's hoping that this thing with Slade will last forever. Well, if she watched Season 1, she would know that Slade is looking for a step mother for his kids and he wants his wife AT HOME, cooking, cleaning and child rearing. If Gretchen is willing to do all of that AND look hot for Slade, I think it'll last.

LYNNE

Lynne's jewelry business is taking off. She's so busy that she had to hire a sales rep to help her out. Lynne was really affected by Vicki's comment last season that Lynne didn't really work. So Lynne has stepped it up a notch. She used to have her stuff at local boutiques, but now she's got her stuff at "Fred Segals" (it's actually Fred Segal, no "s". You should probably know the name since they are carrying your merchandise. Just sayin') and she's talking to Bloomingdales and other big department stores who have expressed interest. Lynne tells us that Frank, her husband, has had 2 of the roughest years in his construction business. I'm guessing that the Curtain family is living off of Lynne's "cuffs" and other jewelry. Whatever the reason for her stepping it up, good for her.

I still think Lynne has a few screws loose. She looks sort of "vacant" sometimes and her voice is monotone and she talks sort of slow. BUT, good for her for working hard and making her business work in this economy. (Tangent - I really hate "in this economy". My old boss used to use that as her excuse for cutting EVERYTHING. No more free lunch at mandatory meetings "in this economy". No more chocolate "in this economy". Must work weekends "in this economy". Bill more and I will pay less "in this economy". I can make your life a living hell "in this economy". So, I did the only logical thing...I quit "in this economy" and I'm SO much happier. Rant over.)

VICKI

Donn is cleaning the backyard and asks Vicki for some help. Vicki comes out in a satin, strapless dress and says she's got a nail appointment. Who gets their nails done in a satin strapless dress?? Donn says that last year Vicki was hard on him - which I can agree with. However, Vicki also has a point that Donn wasn't very affectionate with her, either. It's a vicious cycle. Who started it? It's a chicken/egg thing. They look like they are coming out of it. Vicki's tells Donn that they are doing better than last year when her "love tank" was empty. (She's actually scrubbing and cleaning with that damn dress on.) Donn: "I'm so tired of your damn tank." LOL. I love Donn. Vicki asks him if she can be done cleaning so she can get her nails done. To her credit, it did look like she actually did some cleaning. She seems a little more mellow this season. They interview that they took stock of their relationship and decided to make more of an effort. Vicki says that she wants Donn to be her husband for forever, so she's making an effort to be a better wife. :)

TAMRA & VICKI

New BFFs from last season, Tamra and Vicki, are having lunch at Picante's and they are still besties. They don't get to see each other that much, though, because Vicki is a workaholic and Tamra is busy...staying home. Vicki walks in with a 6 carat diamond ring. It's not one huge diamond. It's more like a wide band with diamonds all over it. According to Vicki, Donn got it for her. I guess this season, she's allowing him to take credit for things he buys her with her money. Community property, baby!! Vicki says that she and Donn are doing better and that marriage is a roller coaster and she's just riding the ups and downs. Tamra interviews that not having the money they used to have has created a lot of tension for her and Simon. No kidding. Tamra tells Vicki that she and Simon are having some issues. Vicki interviews that Simon is very controlling and that Tamra can't do anything without Simon knowing about it. Vicki asks Tamra if she's working at all and Tamra tells her the real estate market is just SO BAD. Then they wonder how Jeanna is doing. Vicki tells us she hasn't spoken to Jeanna in 6 weeks. Apparently 2 months ago, Jeanna asked Vicki if she could borrow some money and Vicki said no. Ouch. Maybe they just weren't very good friends. I feel like if one of my closest friends asked to borrow money and I had money to lend, I would do it in a heartbeat. I would know how hard it was to even ask! Vicki clearly has enough cash...the insurance business doesn't seem to be suffering at all from the recession. However, I also understand Vicki's perspective. Mixing friends and money is not always a good idea. PLUS, Vicki had that whole house snafu with Jeanna a couple of seasons ago.

The conversation turns to Gretchen. Both ladies say that they haven't spoken with her because they have nothing in common with her. Then Tamra asks Vicki if she saw all the naked pictures of Gretchen on the internet that came out over the summer. WHAT? Tamra says that there is a picture of Gretchen with a vibrator on a bed with a cord. Then, the best line ever "Holy Mother of Gynecology, who has a vibrator with a cord?" Yes, Tamra, because that's the disturbing part of the photo. Not that Gretchen is naked on the bed with a vibrator, but that the vibrator has a cord. Nice. Now they are talking about Gretchen dating Slade. Tamra calls Slade an opportunist - I mean, he HAS "bagged three housewives." They wonder who will be next on Slade's list and they both say it will never be them. Never say never...

LYNNE & TAMRA

Lynne and Tamra are at the Renaissance Club Sport to work out. Tamra tells us that she didn't really know Lynne at all last season but over the last 6 months, she's gotten to know her. She says that Lynne is quirky, funny and a little absentminded. Heh. Lynne says that she and Tamra have A LOT in common, you know, because they both like to work out and they are both moms. Huh? Anyhow, they've developed a friendship and work out together. Lynne and Tamra are with a trainer and they are using some machine-thingy. The whole time Tamra is whining that it's too hard and she's over it. Um, maybe you have a little less in common than you thought, Lynne.

They finish their workout and go outside to share some smoothies. Lynne tells Tamra that she has an appointment with a plastic surgeon because she doesn't like the non-existent jiggly thing under her neck. Can you say Anorexia Nervosa?? Seriously, I just learned about this. The excessive working out + the distorted body image = Anorexia Nervosa!! I don't exactly think Lynne is a pretty woman, but she's in great shape and looks great for her age. Considering she's the only one bringing home the bacon these days, I'm not sure she should be spending money on surgery she doesn't need. Lynne makes Tamra swear not to tell anyone...Um, Lynne, you're on TV. I'm pretty sure everyone is going to find out. The cameras aren't just for show...they work and they are rolling.

Lynne tells Tamra that she's inviting all the housewives to the St. Regis to do a trunk show and show off her bikinis, cuffs, belts, etc. Tamra says she'll go and that she doesn't have any issues with the housewives. Oh wait! Except Gretchen? Hello? Tamra interviews that she didn't have a problem with Gretchen. She believes Gretchen cheated on Jeff while he was ill, but if that's what Gretchen wanted to do it's her business not Tamra's. Tamra says that if Gretchen doesn't want Tamra involved in her life, then Gretchen shouldn't involve her. She's got a point. The only reason Tamra is a part of it is because Gretchen's other boyfriend CALLED Tamra!!

GRETCHEN

Gretchen is still living in Jeff's house. Maybe he gave it to her in his will. She tells us that after Jeff died, she was in a really dark place. It was her "Britney Spears shaved her head" moment. She was hanging with the wrong people...who apparently took really embarrassing and private pictures of her and posted them on the internet. [OK, I'm not a dog person, but do people really have car seats for their dogs?!?!?! She has two in the back seat! Am I crazy to think that is the most ridiculous waste of money?] Ok, now Gretchen is saying that when you lose the person you love, that you thought you would be with forever and have kids with, you kind of feel lost. I understand the sentiment, however, I fail to see how it applies to her. She and Jeff got engaged after he got sick and, as I understand it, he got sick only a couple of months after they got together. Plus, he was like 30 years older than she was. She could not have thought they were going to be together forever and have kids. Whatever. She just wants to make excuses for her going wild. I don't know why I'm so hard on her, I just think she's shady...with the cheating and the naked pictures. It's hard to feel sorry for her. I know it's hard to lose someone you care about and I'm sure she cared about Jeff, but I just don't buy that he was the love of her life. I might be wrong...but I doubt it.

Gretchen is now sitting on the beach with her dogs and crying about Jeff. She tells us that she has half of his ashes and his kids share the other half. She has them in an urn on a shelf that she's made into a mini-shrine to Jeff with pictures of the two of them. She's crying that she misses him and that he's the one person who she believed really loved her. I believe her. It's all very sad, but I think some of it is a little drama for the cameras. Sorry, I'm Team Tamra.

GRETCHEN & LYNNE

Gretchen and Lynne are meeting at some fancy pants place in the OC. Lynne tells Gretchen about her dinner party at the St. Regis and invites her. She tells her that Jeanna is coming, but she's not sure if Tamra is coming. LIAR! Tamra totally said she would be there. Gretchen asks Lynne if she's inviting Tamra to everything now and if Lynne and Tamra totally made up. Um, are these "ladies" in high school? Jeez. Lynne avoids the question and tells Gretchen that she and Tamra just go to the same gym. Lynne: "Let's just give her one more chance. Everybody deserves another chance." Gretchen is "frustrated" that Lynne is ok with Tamra. Then, Gretchen rehashes the drama of last season's reunion show where Tamra accused Gretchen of cheating on Jeff while he was sick. WHO CARES? Admit it and move on, Gretchen. Seriously!! No one believes you were in love with Jeff anyway. No one would be surprise. People would respect you more if you just admit it and move on. Then we see the clip of Tamra at the reunion show saying that some guy called her and told her that he was Gretchen's boyfriend. And he told her that Jeff was basically paying Gretchen to take care of him. That actually makes sense.

Back to present day, Lynne tells Gretchen she needs to be careful who she hangs out with because Gretchen makes bad choices. Yikes. Gretchen agrees. Ok. Lynne tells Gretchen that she made a really bad choice, but what really matters is how Gretchen feels about herself. Who cares what the others all think? She's got a point. Just live your life and ignore all the crap. Gretchen is determined to get Lynne on her side so she brings up how Tamra wrote that Gretchen and Lynne make her skin crawl. Lynne says she doesn't believe Tamra said that. She thinks it was someone else. I actually believe that Tamra would TOTALLY say something like that, but who the F cares??? Again, high school drama!! Gretchen says that she doesn't think it's right to be friends with someone who "has been so trashy to" your other friend. OMG. I feel like I'm watching the CW. Don't get me wrong, I love the CW, but on this show, it's kind of annoying. Gretchen agrees to come to the dinner that Lynne is throwing, but she'll leave if anything happens.

LYNNE

Alexa - Lynne's younger, high school daughter - has been modeling Lynne's bikini line. Is it just me or is it weird that Alexa walks out in the bikini and Lynne is like "That's going to look hot. Oh YEAH"? That's weird, right? I mean, she's her MOTHER. She could say "that's cute" or "that's flattering", but "that's gonna look hot"? Not appropriate. Then, Alexa goes out in front of the shop in her bikini ONLY and starts shaking her ass and encouraging people to come into the store. What? Lynne doesn't believe Alexa is doing it, but yet, doesn't got out there an pull her by her ear back into the store and demand she put some f-ing clothes on. No, instead, Lynne tells her she's paying her $10/hour. People in the OC are weird. Then Alexa says that for 2 hours, she gets $20 and Lynne says "that's right!!" and high fives her daughter. Really??? She's in HIGH SCHOOL! My GOD, who are these people?

THE ST. REGIS DINNER PARTY (WOOT!)

Lynne is setting up all of her flair.

Tamra is getting ready and excited to see all the housewives. She tries on a bunch of outfits. Simon tells Tamra her outfit is nice, not too much cleavage which he likes. Very conservative. Tamra tells him she'll call him if anything happens. Simon tells her to keep it classy.

Gretchen is getting ready at Jeff's...er, I mean, her house. Gretchen says she doesn't want to see Tamra but she's going to support Lynne. She will be a classy lady per usual (except for all the naked pics) until there's an issue.

Tamra shows up followed by Jeanna. Vicki comes next and Jeanna says she hasn't seen Vicki in a while. Then Jeanna tell us "When times get tough you really know who you're friends are." I guess that means if they don't give you money, they aren't your friend. Of course, Jeanna's interpretation is that Vicki saw that Jeanna was struggling and decided to focus on another friend. Actually, I usually like Jeanna a lot. But, I'm not sure I agree. I think Vicki had a lot of shizz going on with her marriage and just didn't have time to deal with Jeanna's mismanagement of funds issue.

But, Vicki is irritating, too. Don't get me wrong. When Lynne asks Vicki to wear one of her cuffs during the dinner party and Vicki says she prefers diamonds and the cuffs aren't really her style, I thought that was totally classless and rude. Then Vicki interviews that she doesn't really like "biker wear". Whatever. The "cuffs" aren't really my style either, but I'd wear one for a friend and I don't think they are biker wear. Then, Gretchen walks in. AWKWARD.

Gretchen and Tamra are not talking and it gets weird. It's Vicki and Tamra on one couch and Jeanna, Gretchen and Lynne on the other one. Vicki says to Tamra that it's weird that they haven't even acknowledged each other so Tamra waves and says hi. Gretchen responds the same way and now it's even more awkward. HIGH SCHOOL. Gretchen finally tells Lynne to show them her stuff and show them around. FINALLY. They are all trying stuff on and this is the exchange with Vicki and Tamra:

Tamra: (re Gretchen) She looks so pretty. Eww.
Vicki: To me she looks drop dead gorgeous. You don't think?
Tamra: NO.

Then they look at more cuffs and Vicki says they are growing on her. Vicki interviews that personally she doesn't like them but she's not going to say mean things because she (Lynne) is trying really hard. I just see Miss Piggy every time I look at Vicki.

Dinner time.

Jeanna tries to break the ice and says how nice it is that the hardest decision she has to make is what kind of wax job to get. WTF? Is Jeanna on drugs? They are all saying that you don't have to like one another you just need to respect one another...and not hurt each other. Gretchen says that always happens. So, Jeanna says that apologies help with that. And Gretchen says that she doesn't think some people at this table don't know how to apologize. OH GOOD LORD. That's it. Game on. Tamra says she would apologize if she felt she had something to apologize for. Then Lynne asks who at this table feels that someone owes them an apology. Gretchen says that they all owe each other an apology for how they treated each other. Now, it would have been great if they could each have acted like classy ladies and apologized to one another and enjoyed a lovely dinner. BUT, that didn't happen.

OK, here we go. Lynne says that it was all about this guy who called Tamra. Lynne again says that it was Gretchen's poor choice in men that got them there. And, Gretchen quickly says it was her poor choice of having that guy as her "friend". Gretchen says that if it's about the guy then Tamra should be mad at the guy not her. What? Vicki interviews that she and Tamra are tired of Gretchen having this good girl image when there's a lot of bad stuff about Gretchen that people don't know. LIKE WHAT??? TELL US!!! Tamra says that this guy did make her doubt everything and that everytime there's an apology, something goes wrong. Gretchen: (to Tamra) "Are you kidding? Every single time that you say you want a truce or you want to be friends and work it out, you go to the press and say something about me." Tamra insists she doesn't talk to the press, she just stays inside her house and takes care of her kids. They go back and forth and then nutball Lynne quiets everyone and says that she wants to know if Tamra said that Gretchen and Lynne makes her skin crawl. WTF?? Seriously, Lynne? NOW? Tamra denies it and says that Gretchen makes her skin crawl NOT Lynne. Ha! Lynne, satisfied, quietly continues to eat her dinner. Meanwhile, Tamra is yelling to Gretchen "You and SLADE make my skin crawl." Gretchen says that the way she read it, it said Lynne and Gretchen. Tamra says that's a lie. So, Gretchen says "Oh, so I'm a liar?" and Tamra says "Reputation, baby."

Jeanna interrupts Gretchen to tell her to pass along the maccaroni if she's going to eat it and Gretchen gives it to her. WTF? Lynne and Jeanna crack me up. They are just eating.

Tamra: (to Gretchen) All I have to do is look at the computer and everything is on there.

Gretchen: So you believe everything they say about y ...

Tamra: Well, when you're putting vibrators up your vajayjay and screaming and licking girls nipples...

Gretchen: OH PLEASE. So when everyone writes that you're a whore and you're losing your house, should I just believe it?

Vicki interjects and says that Gretchen is being mean. Then Tamra says: "You've got a bad reputation. You have a horrible, horrible, horrible reputaion." Gretchen asks her why she cares and Tamra says "Oh my God. The Hooker of Orange County. I don't want to be your friend." Jeanna stops eating for a minute and tells Tamra that what she said was hurtful.

Jeanna tells Tamra that she isn't being productive and Tamra asks for what. Tamra asks Jeanna if she's buying Gretchen's bullshit. Tamra gets upset that Jeanna is defending Gretchen. Gretchen tells Tamra to tell her to her face if she has a problem with her. Tamra says that she doesn't have a problem with her, she just doesn't like her and wants Gretchen to leave her alone. Then Gretchen asks why she keeps talking shit about her in the press. Tamra denies it and they go back and forth. Jeanna goes back to her dinner and eats. Tamra says that Gretchen is all over the internet with vibrators up her "hoohoo" and Jeanna says "So what? She's single. She's allowed." Then Tamra says "So what? She preys on old men." Oh dang! Gretchen tells Tamra that she is making shit up. Tamra says that Gretchen is always playing the victim. Gretchen says that this is her not playing the victim, this is her telling Tamra to SHUT THE FUCK UP. Snap.

I can't wait!! See you next week.
