Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins MEET THE PLAYERS

Holy Crap! There have been 17 challenges?! Good Lord.

Ok, here are the players:

TJ Lavin is back again as the Host. Does he have another job? Jeez.

The Girls/CHAMPIONS

Evelyn ("Ev") - The hardcore, super strong, lesbian outcast of former challenges is back! She wasn't on Real World/Road Rules but started the "challenges" as one of the "Fresh Meat."

Ibis - I do not have any recollection of this girl. Apparently, she was on a Road Rules and it appears she has a Masters degree - in what? I have no idea.

Katie ("Crazy") - Of course, she's back. Challenges are her life.

Johanna - She's back for more. This is her second challenge since breaking off her engagement with Wes. He's on this challenge so I'm sure it will be a drama-filled season.

Susie - Quiet, shy, innocent, blonde Susie. She was engaged to RW/RR ex-lifer Tim from the early years. She's now single and getting her Ph.D. in ... wait for it...Religious Studies.

Tanya ("Trainwreck") - Like, Katie, Tanya is a veteran of these challenges. While Katie has simmered down, Tanya just keeps cranking up the crazy. I can't wait to see this season's antics.

Veronica - No way! She's back from her challenge hiatus. The only thing I remember about Veronica is that she stole her roommate's shirt and hid it in her closet during Road Rules Semester at Sea. SHADY...ooh, I like that. Ok, she'll be "Shady".

The Girls/CHALLENGERS

Brianna - The hot tempered singer wannabe from Real World Hollywood (but, originally from Philly where a warrant was issued for her arrest for beating on her boyfriend). She's tough, but interesting.

Casey - Last time Casey was at a challenge, she was climbing out of Banana's window after getting caught having sex with him! BOO-YAH! According to her bio, she's OFF the dating market, but that never lasts during these things.

Diem - Oh, Diem, back for more. It appears she has recovered from being a battered girlfriend and has left d-bag ex-boyfriend, CT, behind.

Kelly Anne - From Real World Australia we have Kelly Anne. She and Cohutta had an on/off fling at the last challenge, but hopefully Cohutta has smartened up. She's just dumb and blah, IMHO.

Kimberly - She's back and let's see what happens with her and Dunbar!! HA!! This should be interesting.

Sarah - Real World Brooklyn - She's a newcomer this challenge. She is most remembered for being the bi-sexual who was sexually abused by her dad and he was trying to contact her during her season. She's from SF!! Unfortunately, she's not that likable.

Shauvon - From Real World Australia and a Journalism major from Sacramento State. When we last saw Shauvon, she was having sex with CT in the season premiere of the last challenge right before he went into a jealous rage over Diem and kicked the crap out of Adam. Nice.

The Boys/CHAMPIONS

Darrell - I don't really remember him from any RW or RR, but I think he's pretty boring.

Derrick - New family man and veteran Derrick is super motivated to win this challenge. He plays fair and hard, so not so good with the drama, but we'll see...

Evan - Like Ev, this guy was never on a RW or RR. He was "Fresh Meat" and has been a force ever since.

Johnny ("Bananas") - YAY!! I love Johnny Bananas. I can't wait to see this meathead in action. Too bad Paula Walnuts isn't back this season. :(

Kenny - OF COURSE, Kenny is back. How could we possibly have a season without this arrogant playboy.

Syrus - Old school is back! From Real World Boston, Syrus has come back as the senior citizen of the franchise. I miss Mark.

The Boys/CHALLENGERS

Adam - Last time we saw Adam, he was getting his ass KICKED by CT (who is notably absent this season). Let's see how long the Stanford grad (and son of one of the Commodores) can last this time.

Brad - He's back sans fiance and Challenge alum, Tori. According to his bio, they are still engaged. Hmmm...I wonder if he ever got a job. Forever a meathead, his hot temper seems to have chilled the last couple of seasons. Let's see what happens this time...

Cohutta - I love Cohutta from Real World Australia. This hillbilly is awesome. He's so honest and doesn't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks. He's also a total sweetheart. Last season, he was on/off with KellyAnne - Oh Cohutta, you can do better than her!! Let's hope he has.

Chet - Metro, hipster, Chet is truly adorable. He's from Real World Brooklyn and was the token Morman Virgin. Let's see if that's changed.

Danny - Wow...these challenges are full of meatheads. Danny, most memorably the guy who got his face crushed outside a bar the first night of Real World Austin. Later, he married castmate, Melinda, who is not here on this challenge. She's the only one missing from the fearsome foursome from Austin: Wes, Johanna, Danny & Melinda.

Dunbar - The name says it all, doesn't it folks? The quick-tempered Dunbar from Real World Australia is back for more. Although, this time there's no Paula Walnuts to get in the way of Dunbar and Kimberly hooking up. Love it.

Nick - Hmmm, it says he's from Real World Hollywood, but I do not remember him. Doesn't bode well for Nick.

Wes - Last, but certainly not least, is Wes. I anticipate LOTS of drama involving hot-tempered Johanna, his ex-fiance. I can't wait!!
